This author appeared on the NPR. He did not sound convincing, and had to qualify his assertions. The author cited Wang Lijun, who fell from grace for offending Bo Xilai, the top leader in Chongqing. Wang's downfall was attributed to his revealing of organ transplant and his boss Bo was called the "heir apparent" in China. The simple and well-known fact is that Xi was the heir apparent, while Bo tried to challenge that. Getting facts right is a must for any books.
