(1) @Yankees: Prior to today’s game, the Yankees made the following roster
moves:
‧ Placed RHP Jonathan Loáisiga on the 60-day injured list (retroactive to 4/4)
with a right flexor strain.
‧ Signed RHP Dennis Santana (#53) to a Major League contract and selected him
to the active roster.
(2) @Yankees: Yesterday, the Yankees outrighted LHP Tanner Tully off the Major
League roster and onto the roster of Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
(3) @Yankees: After discussions with Major League Baseball, the scheduled start
time of the Yankees-Marlins game on Monday, April 8 at Yankee Stadium has been
changed from 2:05 p.m. to 6:05 p.m.
(4) @BryanHoch: Jonathan Loaisiga had an MRI last night that revealed a
“significant” forearm strain, Aaron Boone said.
(5) @ktsharp: This is the first time the Yankees scored on a balk in extra
innings since July 16, 2001 vs Phillies (Paul O'Neill scored, Tino Martinez
at-bat)
(6) @ktsharp: Giancarlo Stanton has struck out in 52.4% of his PA this season.
That's the 2nd highest K pct among all hitters with at least 15 PA. The highest
is 57.1% by Brent Rooker.
