The idea of a trade at some point isn’t all that far-fetched, even with Devers
owed more than $250 million, including a portion deferred. For a hitter of his q
uality, the contract soon might look like something of a bargain, at least compa
red to Juan Soto’s $765 million and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s $500 million.

Even if Bregman exercises his opt-out and departs as a free agent, the Sox can p
lay top infield prospect Marcelo Mayer at third, leaving Devers without a positi

除了前面那段話還提到Devers的合約剩下250M，一部分延是期付款

以他的能力跟現在的市場價來說看起也許來會很划算，至少跟Soto以及小V葛的合約比的話
是這樣

就算Bregman之後逃脫合約，紅襪也能讓Marcelo Mayer去三壘

而且Devers的合約沒有不可交易條款，交易他只要多付200萬鎂

有一年donaldson被交易到守護者，小拉米配合球隊需要改守二壘，後來拉米說不太喜歡這樣季中改守位，球隊就沒再讓他改動過了
就Devers的角度就是你剛跟我簽了大約說我是球隊的看板，結果一下叫我打DH一下子叫我守三壘難免會有不被尊重的感覺吧
