Seattle Mariners prospect Cole Young got the news he had been waiting for his
entire life.

西雅圖水手的潛力新秀Cole Young，得到了他一輩子都在等待的消息。

While playing for the Triple-A Tacoma Rainers on May 30, the 21-year-old
infield was removed from the game and pulled aside by manager John Russell in
the dugout.

5月30日，當在3A球隊塔科馬雷尼爾比賽時，這名21歲的內野手被經理John Russell從比賽
中帶離開，並拉到球員休息區一旁。

"I'm really proud of what you've done and how far you've come," Russell told
Young. "Just take that to Seattle tomorrow, okay?"

「我對你所做的一切和你的付出感到驕傲，」Russell告訴Young：「就這樣把他們帶到西
雅圖，好嗎？」

Young, slowly realizing he was being promoted to the major leagues, couldn't
believe what he was hearing.

Young這才漸漸意識到他正準備前往大聯盟，還不敢置信他剛剛聽到了什麼。

"Where?"

"Seattle."

"When?"

「什麼時候？」

"Tomorrow. So you're done, you're not playing any more of this game."

Young's teammates showered him with hugs and congratulations, but he had to
start packing his bags to join up with the Mariners. On the way back to the
locker room, Young immediately called his parents and brother to share the big
news.

Young的隊友們向他伸出雙手擁抱並且祝賀他，但他必須開始收拾行囊，準備加入水手隊。

A first-round draft pick in 2022, Young made his MLB debut on May 31,
delivering a walk-off win for the Mariners against the Minnesota Twins.
