theScore: The 2026 World Baseball Classic is happening in March. Why do you play
 for the Dominican Republic over Canada?

Guerrero: That's a good question. I was born in Canada, but I grew up in the Dom
inican Republic. My dad never went to a World Baseball Classic. He told me as a
kid that I should represent the Dominican if I ever got a chance to do it. I gre
w up with that. So, I think I will play with the Dominicans, but maybe if I'm no
t retired, I will play with Canada one day.

小V葛是在爸爸效力於蒙特婁博覽會隊時，在加拿大出生

然後小V葛本身也是加拿大-多明尼加雙重國籍

The younger Guerrero, who holds both Canadian and Dominican citizenship, continu
ed his baseball journey in Canada. He joined the Toronto Blue Jays in 2015 at ju
st 16 years old and quickly climbed the amateur ranks. Guerrero made his profess
ional debut on April 26, 2019, shortly after turning 20.
