Advertiser demand for the Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game has been so int
ense, even the commercials that might never air are getting snapped up.

今年廣告商對MLB明星賽的需求非常強烈

甚至連可能永遠不會播出的廣告時段都被搶購一空惹

Fox expects to run close to 80 commercials across its July 15th broadcast of the
 Midsummer Classic, scheduled to take place this year in Atlanta, but many ads t
ied to game elements that can’t be predicted, like pitcher changes or extra inn
ings, are also spoken for, says Mark Evans, executive vice president of ad sales
 for Fox Sports, during a recent interview.

轉播單位FOX預計當天會有80個廣告播出，但不僅僅這樣

“Sell-out is usually right before the game in July,” he says. “We were sold o
ut in the beginning of June – a full month earlier.” He predicts this year’s
All-Star Game will sport a record number of commercials, sold at some of the eve
nt’s highest prices and generating some of the largest revenue Fox has seen for
 the baseball spectacular.

並以史上最高的價格售出，為FOX創下美國職棒盛事中最高的營收紀錄


Fox has been seeking between $750,000 and $800,000 for a 30-second commercial in
 the All-Star Game, according to a person familiar with the matter.

根據知情人士透露，FOX的開價是75萬-80萬美金(30秒廣告)
