rs this summer is … ?

You may have said “Jonah Tong” or “Trey Yesavage” or “Jarlin Susana”. And
all of those Top 100 prospects have been downright nasty. But the correct answer
 is actually Triple-A Indianapolis righty Brandan Bidois.

Yes, Brandan Bidois. A 24-year-old Australia native, the unranked Bidois may be
flying under the radar -- or in the middle of bursting onto the scene. Either wa
y, he’s riding a ridiculous streak that’s worthy of attention.

Bidois hasn’t allowed a hit since July 29. Pitching for Double-A Altoona that d
ay, he surrendered two hits in 1 2/3 innings against Portland. Since then, he’s
 twirled 18 entirely hitless innings across 11 relief appearances – each betwee
n three and six outs. After Tuesday's outing for Indy, it has been 42 days since
 Bidios allowed a hit – six full weeks.
