當你拿著槍，我也拿著槍，
我們可以談法律。
當你拿著刀，我也拿著刀，
我們可以談規則。
當你空手而來，我也空手而來，
我們可以談道理。
但當你拿著槍，而我只有一把刀，
那麼真理就掌握在你手中。
如果你拿著槍，而我一無所有，
你手中握的，不只是武器——而是我的性命。
法律、規則與道德這些概念，
唯有建立在平等之上，才有意義。
這世界的殘酷真相是，當金錢開始說話，
真理便沉默無聲。
而當權力發聲時，
連金錢也得退避三分。
制定規則的人，
往往是最先違反規則的人。
規則是用來束縛弱者的鎖鏈，
卻是強者手中的工具。
在這個世界上，凡是美好的事物都會被鏟除，
因為善良孕育反抗，而反抗威脅秩序。
這裡沒有憐憫，
沒有正義。
只有征服的意志，
和那些倒下者的沉默。
所謂真相，是我說了算的東西。
所謂道德，是失敗者手中的武器。
而到頭來，一切不是屈服，就是毀滅。

Truth is whatever I decide it to be.
Morality is the weapon of the defeated.
And in the end, everything bends… or it breaks.
