在同意與灰狼簽約後(woj說還沒正式簽約)， Jamal Crawford 說

“They showed they were serious, trying to get things done right away. I felt
like the time is right. I felt like I could fit. At this point of my career,
I could easily chase a championship. I’m not saying we won’t compete, but it
’s not about that. I want to take the journey and go through the wars with
these guys. The Cavs, they’ve been there. Those guys know what it’s like to
be in the Finals and win a championship. The Warriors, same deal. If I went
there and let’s say we happen to win, what’s next? Sometimes it’s more
gratifying to help teams go from one point to another point."

他們展現出認真的模樣，試圖做出正確的事情。
我覺得時間點是對的。我覺得我能適合。
在我生涯的此時，我可以輕易追求冠軍。
我不是說我們不會追求冠軍，但是那不是重點。
我想要參加這趟旅程並且和這些人並肩作戰。
騎士隊曾經在那裏。他們經歷過總冠軍賽且贏過。
勇士也是。
如果我到達那裏，甚至贏了，然後呢？
有時候幫助球隊進步更為讓人滿足。
