Michael Beasley played alongside LeBron James on the Miami Heat and Los Angele
s Lakers, and he believes his former teammate is the greatest of all time. Dur
ing an appearance on the Common Denominator podcast Beasley was asked to pick
between James and Michael Jordan and went with the former without hesitation.

Michael Beasley 曾與 LeBron James 在邁阿密熱火和洛杉磯湖人隊當過隊友，他認為這
位前隊友是史上最偉大的球員。在接受《Common Denominator》播客節目訪問時，Beasle

"I start with the one everybody know, the points, the longevity, all that," Be
asley said. "With Jordan, they don't talk about the negativity, they don't tal
k about the playoff losses, they don't talk about the fact that he actively so
ught out Dennis Rodman, who was already a two-time champion.

「我從大家最熟的講起，得分、職涯長度這些數據，」Beasley 說。「至於 Jordan，人

"No shot to Jordan because he's Jordan, but they don't tell the story of him h
aving to learn the championship pedigree, Beasley stated. "LeBron James gave u
s, or has given us, the opportunity to be witnesses. We watched his good, his
bad, we watched his ups, his downs so long, and he's been so great that we don
't have anything to say.

"So we now talk about his son," Beasley continued. That's my personal argument
. My stat argument is LeBron James ... [put] every player's stats on the board
 and take everybody name off and now we play a Easter egg hunt. We got to find
 five eggs.

「所以現在我們才會開始談論他的兒子，」Beasley 接著說。「那是我個人的觀點。若講

"If we look for the best point guard, LeBron James will be somewhere top five,
 his stats will be somewhere in the top five," Beasley added. "Look for the be
st two, three, four, five, LeBron James, you'll never see his stats no lower t
han sixth, seventh on all five of those. Sixth man, all of that."

「如果我們在找最強控球後衛，LeBron James 的數據會排進前五，」Beasley 補充說。

Beasley added that Jordan also had the fortune of not having to deal with soci
al media. He believes that James has had to deal with so much more negativity
and is amazed that he is still delivering the way he has.

面聲音，卻仍能維持巔峰表現，令人驚嘆。

The intangible aspects aside, James has built up a solid case to be regarded a
s the best ever. The 40-year-old has won four titles, four Finals MVPs, four M
VPs, a scoring title, and an assists title in his career.

撇開那些無法量化的因素，James 已經建立了強而有力的案例，可以被視為史上最佳。這
位40歲的球員已經贏得了四次總冠軍、四次總決賽MVP、四次年度MVP、一次得分王和一次

James is also the NBA's all-time leading scorer (42,184 points) and ranks four
th in assists (11,584). He has the most All-Star and All-NBA selections as wel
l, with 21 each. It's a phenomenal resume, but is it better than Jordan's?

James 目前是NBA歷史得分王（42,184分），助攻數則排名第四（11,584次）。他也是全

Jordan won six titles, six Finals MVPs, five MVPs, a DPOY, and 10 scoring titl
es in his career. He made 14 All-Star and 11 All-NBA teams along the way. Jord
an also made the All-Defensive First Team nine times, tied for the most in his
tory.

Jordan 生涯共拿下六次冠軍、六次總決賽MVP、五次年度MVP、一座年度最佳防守球員以
及十次得分王。他總共入選14次全明星與11次年度最佳陣容，還曾九度入選年度最佳防守
第一隊，這個紀錄是歷史上最多的紀錄之一。


Considering Jordan only played 15 seasons compared to 22 for James, he is goin
g to be far behind in terms of stats and certain accolades. The Chicago Bulls
icon has still won more titles, though, and that's all that matters in some ci
rcles.

考慮到 Jordan 僅打了15個球季，而 James 打了22個球季，兩人在數據與某些獎項上的
差距會很大。不過，這位芝加哥公牛的傳奇仍然贏得了更多冠軍，而對某些人來說，冠軍
就是一切。


While more and more from today's generation, like Beasley, are siding with Jam
es on the debate, a lot of the old heads aren't budging. Kenny Smith stated th
at James will not touch the Jordan fiber. He claimed that defense is the separ
ating point when it comes to them.

雖然越來越多像 Beasley 這樣的新世代球員站在 James 這邊，但很多老一輩的球迷仍舊
不為所動。Kenny Smith 就表示，James 觸及不了 Jordan 的層次。他認為兩人之間的最

 on top. It wasn't particularly close either.
