moves:
‧ Signed RHP Adam Ottavino to a Major League contract and added him to the
active roster.
‧ Transferred RHP JT Brubaker to the 60-day injured list.
‧ Placed RHP Devin Williams on the paternity list.
(2) @Yankees: Court is back in session.

(3) @BryanHoch: Giancarlo Stanton said he has advanced to taking at-bats
against the Trajekt machine. He will need to play in rehab games after missing
all of Spring Training. "I'm just getting the feel back." He said he still
feels pain in his elbows. "That will be a constant."
(4) @BryanHoch: Giancarlo Stanton was asked if torpedo bats were the "bat
adjustments" he said may have contributed to his elbow injuries.
"You're not going to get the story you're looking for, so if that's what you
guys want, that isn't going to happen."
Stanton said he will use a torpedo bat when he returns from the IL.
(5) @BryanHoch: Aaron Judge, when asked why he hasn't tried a Torpedo bat:
“What I’ve done the past couple of seasons speaks for itself.”
(6) @BryanHoch: The Yankees' 15 homers are tied for the most in MLB history
through three team games. The record for HRs through four team games is 16,
held by the 2006 Tigers.
(7) @M_Marakovits: Clarke Schmidt threw 3 innings (46 pitches) in a simulated
game in Tampa yesterday. Responded well today. Will throw again Saturday as he
continues to build up
