立陶宛控衛Sarunas Jasikevicius不僅是歐洲籃壇的傳奇球員，
先後在2000年奧運和2007年歐洲籃球錦標賽摘下銅牌。

2005至2007年之間曾遠赴NBA尋夢，
先後待過溜馬和勇士兩隊，
成績雖然不夠亮麗，
但仍無損於他在歐洲籃壇的豐功偉業。

2014年退休後改執教鞭，
2015-16球季起接任立陶宛球隊Zalgiris Kaunas的總教練。

近來在一場記者會上，
記者試圖問他一些不太恰當的問題，
因而在球壇引起一陣注目。

Journalist: Coach, what do you think about Augusto leaving in the middle of a
series to see his child being born?

記者：教練，對於Augusto這名球員在系列賽中離隊，好去見證自己孩子的誕生，你作何
感想？

Coach: what do you mean? I let him

教練：你是指什麼？是我讓他去的。

Journalist: But is it normal for a player to leave in the middle of a series?

記者：但球員在系列賽中離隊是正常的嗎？

Coach: Do you have kids?

教練：你有小孩嗎？

J: No

記者：沒有。

C: Well when you have kids, youngster, you'll understand. Because that's the
height of human experience. Wow, that's actually a good question. Do you
think basketball is the most important thing in life?

教練：等到你有小孩的時候，年輕人，你就會懂的。因為那是至高無上的人生體驗。哇，
這還真的是個好問題。你覺得籃球是人生中最重要的事嗎？

J: no, but a semi finals is important...

記者：不，但準決賽很重要。

C: semi? To whom is it important?

教練：準決賽？對誰來說很重要？

J: the team

記者：球隊。

C: who?

教練：誰？

J: Zalgiris

記者：Zalgiris這支球隊。

C: did you see the number of fans? Important? When you see your first child,
you will understand what the most important thing in life is. Come and have a
chat with me. Because nothing is more majestic in the world that the birth of
a child. Believe me. Not titles, not anything. Augusto is in heaven
emotionally. I'm really happy for him.



【短評】
季後賽的風風雨雨雖然很重要，但終歸得回到人生之中。

附帶一提，這支球隊的老闆還是Arvydas Sabonis，
而且在少了Augusto之下，
球隊更在第三戰中贏敵隊二十分。
