結束了一學期的發音課程，現在來分享美國老師如何教自然發音,但是還是沒辦法將所有課程內容在這短短一篇文章中呈現給大家，所以將我覺得重要的部分（母音的發音和母音發音規則）拿出來分享，另外重音的部分之後再寫！
美國小朋友從小學一年級到六年級都在學習如何拼音，等於是整個小學期間都在學發音。英文的發音結構非常的複雜，有些在規則裡，但是有些則不是，通常不在規則發音通常是來自外來語。英文來自於拉丁（西班牙文）跟德文，所以這是為什麼英文的母音會分成“長母音”跟“短母音”，所以學好如何分辨這兩種母音跟發子音等於你的發音就學會了一半，但另外一半就得靠日積月累的經驗了（ps.這另外一半我想才是發音最難的部分那就是只能靠”記“）！
剛上課的時候老師發了這一張卡"顏色卡"給我們，這是母音卡(The color Vowel chart) ,一個單字的形成沒辦法缺乏母音，所以“母音”是最重要的，如果母音發音錯誤，跟重音亂發就不會有人聽得懂你在念什麼，也可能會錯意，這是我常犯的錯誤，因為我在學kk的時候把 æ. ɛ. 跟 e ; i 跟 ɪ 的音給搞混了，而且發錯，所以沒有將“短母音跟長母音發清楚”跟將“重音發音”搞清楚就會導致外國人不曉得你在念哪一個字，例如：aid , add, edd......

ＫＫ音標在國外根本沒有這個玩意！這是給非英文系的外國人用的，但是音不會凖，再來美語跟英語的發音不一樣，如果你沒有一次學好就會造成拿美語的音跟英語的音搞在一起，為什麼？我去過那麼多英文補習班遇到美國來的就會有美國的發音，英國的就會有英國的發音，澳洲的就會有澳洲的發音，以上的老師我都有遇過，然後發音就像我現在這副德性再加上我是南部小孩，在家都是講台語，所以我的臺灣國語特別嚴重！（但是我很驕傲，我台語講得真好，哈哈哈）因此我也希望我的英文可以跟我的台語講的一樣好！所以我現在開始重新學發音！
溫ㄤ跟我說在美國用自然發音，小朋友看到字就會念，也很容易把字背起來。他常看到我在單字上面標ＫＫ音標，他實在是看不懂老娘在畫什麼？？其實自然發音在台灣我也有去上過課，但是台灣的老師還是會用ＫＫ音標做輔助，ＫＫ音標唸出來的音常常會少掉一些自然發音會發出的音調，再加上如果你的課程非常的緊湊在沒有人糾正你的情況下，你很容易就是用錯的發音繼續發音，等到被笑或是阿豆仔聽不懂的時候，在重學真的是要花一倍的力氣，就像我現在這樣。所以學英文真的要一鼓作氣，也許你會說台灣還是有人用ＫＫ音標英文講得很好的，但是我跟你們說，他們大多都是一些英文系的學生或是到了高中，大學經過同學和師長或是外籍老師或是出國遊個學的切磋或是糾正而改正發音！問題是多少人真的可以講出一口標準的英文ㄋㄟ ？？
結論是：在美國，光是小朋友的發音課就上了很久，他們從國小一年級上到三年級你就知道發音有多重要了！就像我們國小一年級到三年級也是用注音在學習認字一樣！
