根據USAtoday Kobe 的訪問報導
Kobe說他不知道林書豪過去一個禮拜的表現
不過林書豪的表現的確令他很驚訝
Kobe坦承賽前的確看過林書豪的錄影
球隊也有戰術來對付林書豪
也以為戰術會有用
不過林書豪依然表現的如此傑出

Kobe接著說
通常驚人的球員並非無端的冒出來
Kobe說如果大家回去看林書豪的表現
就知道他的高超技巧應該是以前就有
只是沒人注意到
Kobe說林書豪的好技巧是多年努力不懈練出來的!
林書豪的故事很棒!
可以作為世界各地青少年的模範!

And Bryant, who had said he didn't know anything about what Lin had been
accomplishing this week, was impressed.

"He has been phenomenal," Bryant said. "We have watched some tape on him. We
came up with a strategy that we thought would be effective, but he was
knocking down his jump shot, penetrating and he got around our guards. …

"Players don't usually come out of nowhere. If you can go back and take a
look, his skill level was probably there from the beginning, but no one ever
noticed. … It is a great story. It is a testament to perseverance and hard
work. It is a good example to kids everywhere."
