In response to Brock Turner’s release from jail on Sep. 2, 2017, this series was also inspired by the unfortunate and sad reality of sexual assault, as it can happen to anyone, anywhere, and at any time, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. The series went viral all over the world, and continues to be shared, utilized in college essays and presentations, and displayed in galleries across the United States to this day.

紐約大學生攝影師Yana Mazurkevich在2016年，為了抗議史丹佛性侵案的司法不公，所創作的攝影計畫《IT HAPPENS》，這些影像無論什麼時候看都非常地觸目驚心，因為性侵害仍然隨時隨地在發生著，沒有特別原因，它就是可能會發生。

The series portrays how survivors, specifically women, often blame themselves or get blamed by others, when they shouldn’t blame themselves at all, in today’s rape culture. The series went viral in 2016 over multiple platforms and continues to be shared today.

模擬的性暴力受害者在白板寫下自責的心聲，呈現出受害者無助的緘默。
「裙子穿太短了」、「女生不可以喝醉酒」、「你應該要懂得保護自己」這種先檢討被害人的嘴臉，中外都一樣，都不是可以合理並允許性侵的理由。
任何人都不該在身心受創後再面對這樣的指責，那只會造成被害人的再度傷害。

每次看到這個就讓我想起POI的104集，雖然說那集只是側寫，但POI之所以主角建立得很成功，我想那集是功不可沒的。
