Capricorn, Capricorn, where are you? Oh, I see you, hiding under the bed. I don't blame you. Last month's eclipse may have been difficult for your home life, and to make things harder, your career may have brought unexpected news too. Even if the news was positive and even celebratory (very possible), it was a strenuous month where you were forced to make a lot of adjustments, to say the least. Here's a tip about you hiding under the bed: an eclipse will find you under there, so you might as well come out and enjoy life. I promise, November will be a big improvement over October.
The eclipse on October 18 may have brought you massive changes in your living situation, or news in regard to one of your parents or grandparents. Mars, ruling your solar fourth house of home, rules your actual property that you own or rent, and your home life. The problem was, Mars was opposed to Neptune, so you probably could not see clearly what was transpiring - wait to act until things will come into focus this month.
Even with the difficulties inherent in last month's eclipse, eventually there would be a positive outcome because planets were working on your behalf over the long run. An eclipse can affect you for six months to a year, so keep an open mind, and watch as things play out.
If you did not get any news near October 18, and your birthday falls near January 15, plus or minus five days, you must now pay attention to what occurs in relation to your home on November 18. Occasionally, in about twenty percent of cases, the eclipse will deliver its message a month to the day later, plus or minus five days. Fewer readers will have already felt this eclipse one month earlier, near September 19, so think back to whether you heard something important back then that was home-related.

Eclipses come in pairs, and the next one is due as a new moon solar eclipse, November 3. The one you just came through on October 18 was a full moon lunar eclipse, and those are always more emotional. They mark endings and remind us of our long-held dreams and bring up many memories. This month's eclipse, by contrast, will be a new moon solar eclipse in Scorpio, 11 degrees, so it should be much more encouraging to your dreams and goals.
Any changes that come up in November will be easier to assimilate. Scorpio is a sign that blends well with your Capricorn Sun. All new moon solar eclipses open a door, and a solar eclipse is a new moon times three - VERY powerful, quite logical and objective, so this month you are likely to find your emotions remain on an even keel.
This eclipse, November 3, will open you to a new, close friendship and introduce you to a number of career contacts. If you had considered joining a club or charity, do it now - the two weeks following the eclipse will be superb for making new friends. (The sooner you join a group, the better, just after the new moon eclipse November 4).
Because this eclipse will arrive conjunct Saturn, you may take on a responsible post in your club or humanitarian charity. Or, you may hear that a friend is in a crisis and facing a very serious life event. If so, make yourself available and find ways to help your friend. I also feel that the same or different friend will be instrumental in helping you reach a goal. Continue to make contacts, for even if you don't known one another that well, someone you meet now could come bearing opportunity.
This eclipse will also be in ideal angle to Mars in Virgo, so the eclipse may send you on a long trip, possibly to a foreign country. Alternatively, you might be investigating the idea of going back to college, to complete a degree or to earn your masters or PhD, or to defend your thesis. If you hope to get a grant, try for one - your timing would be good now. If you are in a court case, or need to confer with your lawyer over points in a contract, this eclipse will get you the legal help you need.
Pluto is in Capricorn, and with Pluto so nicely oriented too, you will feel strong and self-assured. As you go through the days that follow the eclipse, you will become more confident about the direction you will choose to take this month, even if your path will be a new one, drawn up because of shifting circumstances.
If your birthday falls on January 1, plus or minus five days, you will feel the November 3 eclipse quite directly and powerfully. The same is true if you have Capricorn rising at 11 degrees, or have a natal planet or the moon at 11 degrees Cancer or Capricorn.
Let's continue through the month. November 6 may be a day that seems a bit dour, when the Sun will meet with your ruler, Saturn. This meeting of two opposites (symbolized by fire and ice) happens once a year, and most people find it to be a day of hard work, and perhaps a day that might bring a bit of criticism.
It is a day to face a truth so directly that you may feel the person delivering the news to be harsh and cause you to feel a little depressed. Saturn rules your sign, so you may find no problem with this day at all. Just in case, get enough sleep on the night before, for being tired (very possible with your schedule) will only drag you down more, and your emotions with your fatigue. It is a good day to see a dentist or orthopedic surgeon, for example, as Saturn rules teeth and bones.
The full moon of November 17, plus or minus four days, will center you on an enchanting romantic experience. This full moon will fall in Taurus, 25 degrees, and it seems to be just made for you. Mars, in Virgo, will again encourage you to travel, and Jupiter's angle suggests if you do, you will be with your romantic partner. A Taurus full moon can bring a magical evening that may be very memorable. You may have a special dinner for two, or you may go to a beautiful event where you feel very connected to your one-and-only. If you travel, it seems to be to the mountains where you can enjoy sumptuous scenery.
If your birthday falls on January 15, plus or minus five days, you will enjoy this full moon to the hilt. Clear your calendar and make sure you do not miss this beautiful evening that will be planned by the angels. The food, the flowers, the setting, the candlelight, or the music you hear that night (if you go to a concert) all will make for a perfect evening.
On November 18 (the day I had asked you to watch for events connected to the October 18 eclipse) will also have other cosmic activity - something special. Mars, the planet ruling your home, will be in perfect angle to Jupiter. You may sell or buy a house, take a long trip, or hear very good news about immigration matters. Legal matters would go so well - file a trademark, or a patent, or come up with an idea to bring to the other side for possible settlement.
In business, you may get a big project, most likely in the realm of publishing and broadcasting, under this same full moon November 17, plus or minus five days. There are so many possibilities on the four-star day. One thing is indicated - you will need a partner, agent, lawyer, manger, broker, or other middleman to create your luck for you.
If you have to sign a contract this month, wait until after November 10, as Mercury will be retrograde until that date, a holdover from last month. If you have a truly important contract that after you sign will be life changing for you, then wait, if you can, to November 27, an ideal day to sign, for Mercury (agreements) will be moving in strong, steady speed and link to Jupiter (happiness, gifts, luck, and profits).
At month's end, if you have had concerns about your home, you may hit an amazing solution out of the blue on November 30, when the ruler of your solar fourth house of home and family, Uranus (surprises) will signal the Sun. Or, you may decide to invite friends to your home for a small dinner party or a larger cocktail party. If you do have your party, conversation will sparkle brilliantly and be the talk of the town now for months to come.
Lucky you, Venus will enter Capricorn on November 5 to stay a very long time, until March 5. The reason for the unusually long stay of Venus in your sign is that Venus will retrograde next month, December 21 to January 31.
This impending turn of Venus to retrograde on December 21 through January is, admittedly, both good and bad news. The bad news is that during the five weeks that Venus retrogrades, it will introduce a mainly no-frills, hard work time, when love will take a back seat to duty and responsibility. It is not the best time to meet someone new (no matter what his or her birthday sign happens to be) or to give a lavish party.
I am not enthusiastic about you getting engaged during Venus retrograde either. Love and affection will be lacking, now and in the future. (The day you choose to get engaged is an important day, and you want friendly planes surrounding it.) If you were planning to get engaged next month for New Year's Eve, do it earlier, in the second half of November or early December. You can always keep your plans secret and share the news with friends and family later, near the holidays. Valentine's Day, February 14, won't work either - Mercury will be retrograde then.
Venus retrograde is a terrible time to have plastic surgery if it is elective surgery and not an emergency - in the highly unlikely chance that you would need emergency plastic surgery, just do it.
The good news about Venus retrograde is that this planet of love and beauty will remain in your sign a very long time for Venus, until March 5. You will have Venus all to yourself, and even when retrograde (when Venus will speak more faintly), she will be showering you with ways to improve your looks and make you more magnetic.
This month, you'd have a fantastic chance to choose new things to wear that would be madly flattering. Because we are coming into a period of confusing planetary messages in early 2014, do all you can to improve your appearance now. You will soon be a love magnet, so why not plan to look your best to encourage Cupid a little more?
Summary
You are one of the hardest workers of the zodiac, and you always work smart, with a spirit of practicality and purpose. No wonder Capricorn is considered the sign that produces leaders of industry. This month, however, you will have a rare chance to let down your hair, kick up your heels, and socialize. Join a club, get involved with social media or a charity effort, or simply attend social gatherings, dear Capricorn. Don't think of this month's activities as random and simple play - it can be that, surely, but much more. You may make new friends now that will expose you to new interests and more new people.
Venus will make its annual visit entry into Capricorn on November 5. In coming weeks, Venus in your sign will add a large dose of sparkle to your social agenda. You may be shy or reserved, but with Venus in your sign, be confident, for you will be the most mysterious, alluring person in the room. As you enter the holiday season (prime time for engagements), keep in mind that Jupiter will be in your marriage sector until July 15, 2014, a rare, once-in-a-decade favor. This would be an extraordinary year to start to build a life with the one you love. On November 12, Jupiter will send a magnificent beam to the Sun, a perfect day to talk about forever-ever-ever.
On November 17, the full moon will light your house of true love. With Jupiter smiling from your seventh house of commitment, you may get engaged, or at the very least, decide you are ready to move to the next step, such as to agree to be exclusive to each other. This full moon will be bewitching and highly romantic - surely a night you will always remember.
After that, on November 18, energy planet Mars and Jupiter will be in sync bringing reasons to travel with your one-and-only. On November 27, Mercury and Jupiter will generate even more beautiful vibes for communication and travel. This would be an ideal month to exchange rings and promises, but there is a caveat.
Marriage is a contract between two people, and when Mercury is out of phase, it is not a good time to sign any documents or announce any plans, so wait until AFTER November 10. Mercury, planet of communication and contracts, will go direct on November 10, but it will need a few days to regulate its orbit. (Mercury has been retrograde since October 18.) I like November 12 best, for on that day, the Sun and Jupiter will beam a golden light on your shared commitment.
The weekend of November 30-December 1 would be perfect for entertaining for giving a holiday party at home (it must be at your home, not a restaurant for this aspect to spin its magic). Uranus, now in your home sector, will receive a direct beam from the Sun in your house of friendship. It doesn't get better than this! You can also sell or buy a house, pick up some beautiful accessories, or find the perfect rug for your living room. This is a very special weekend! News about your finances should be outstanding too, so you may find a bargain.

Most romantic dates, and days you can use for other things too: November 2, 3, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15-17, 20, 21, 26, 29, and 30.
New friends are likely to enter your life as a result of the solar eclipse of November 3. In coming weeks, pay special attention to someone significantly older than you, who might play the role of mentor.
A friend may need you on November 5, so clear your calendar, in case you need to respond quickly to him or her.
Jupiter will go retrograde November 6, and may hold up a decision about a relationship until March.
Mars will be in agreement with your ruler Saturn on November 8, making a perfect time to plan a trip with a friend or see a friend.
Mercury was retrograde since October 21 and will now turn direct November 10.
On November 12, with the Sun in perfect angle to Jupiter, it will be a festive day for a gathering or club event.
If you are writing an imaginative book or screenplay, or piece of music, Neptune's move direct on November 13 should help release wonderfully creative ideas.
November 16 has a grand trine in earth signs involving the planets moon, Venus, Pluto, and Mars, a wonderful day for an earth sign like you, dear Capricorn!
The full moon November 17 should be spectacular for you, as it will light your house of true love - you may be invited to a party or gathering, or you may you hear a confession of love.
On November 18 you will find you get along very well with your mate of business partner, thanks to Mars in agreement with Jupiter.
Sign a contract on November 27 when your chances of making a profit from the endeavor will be highest.
All financial news on November 30 should be good news.
