Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Your November Horoscope by Susan Miller

Pisces Horoscope for November 2013

By Susan Miller

November will be a big improvement over October for many reasons, dear Pisces. First, last month emphasized financial matters, never your favorite topic. You prefer to work on creative projects and let the success of those ventures take care of the financial cash flow of your life. Usually you are right to think that way. By emphasizing the final result and quality of your work, you create work of great creativity and beauty.

Last month, however, you may have received news about mounting expenses that you will soon need to cover, and that news may have rattled you. The new moon last month on October 4 was a witch of a new moon, causing you to spend money or promise money, and the full moon lunar eclipse October 18 underscored the necessity to live up to previously made financial obligations. This month, November, will be a generally better month, for it will present a number of opportunities to find new sources of income that can get you back in the black.

The area of the chart that the October 18 eclipse appeared was your solar second house of earned income, so if one income source ended, another will soon start. You will, of course, have to look for it as it is unlikely a man with his wrist handcuffed to a briefcase full of money will show up at your door to give it to you!

Indeed, often an eclipse suggests a change of some sort within the house the eclipse appears, so this was your income sector and it is logical that this is where your changes will show up. You have the kind of chart where you may get a huge expense (say, for a dental bill) and then later, get a big job and have a huge amount of money paid to you. Your income will be up and down, and each time you get moments like last month, the news is very unexpected - this can be hard on one's nerves!

This was a full moon eclipse (lunar) and therefore may have marked an ending, but if so you will soon find a way to make more. You are very good at letting nothing stop you as you are a mutable sign, known for your remarkable resourcefulness and ability to adapt to changing conditions. I should be clear: you need not give up one source of income to get another - it is very possible that another big client will walk through the door, or an offer will come in and you can keep all that you have and not give up anything.

If you are doing a joint venture with another company, one of the departing employees who you are close to may have spilled an earful to you, clearing up a confusing situation about why projects that you feel have profit potential have stalled. If you cannot get answers from a sympathetic soul like that, you might be tempted to ask your accountant to do an audit of your partner's books. This seems to be an extreme step, but it would be in the realm of possibility if you feel intuitively that things are not adding up. If something is off, you need to get to the bottom of it. Planets in Scorpio (and there are four this month) encourage digging for information - and favor finding it!

Mars, the ruler of your solar second house of income, is now touring in your house of partner, so you may do well financially if you enlist the help of a middleman. A broker, agent, headhunter, lawyer, manager, or publicist may be instrumental in your financial success now. If you in a happy relationship, you can add your spouse or steady, established partner to those who may be fortunate for you and lead you to generous income generating opportunities.

If you would like to read more about last month's eclipse, you can always access the last month's article that I wrote for you - in this case, October. Do so by scrolling down here, down past your Summary and Dates to Note. You will see the link to "Previous Month's Forecast" below Dates to Note, but above my monthly post script, the P.S. where I make all kinds of monthly announcements. (read those - there is fun stuff in there!)

One more point: if you did not notice any big news on or near October 18, you may hear news within five days of November 18. Sometimes an eclipse will deliver news one month to the day later - that is true in about 75 percent of the cases. In only about five percent of the time, news is delivered one month to the day earlier, and that would have been on September 19, plus or minus five days.

Now we have a very different kind of eclipse. Arriving Sunday, Monday, November 3, and will be a solar new moon eclipse, in your ninth house of broad thinking and big horizons. This eclipse may bring up a big idea for a publishing or broadcasting project, or one that will cause you to work with executives abroad. In fact, you may soon travel to a foreign country. The opportunity may be triggered by a powerful, well-connected friend (indicated by Pluto) who would be happy to speak up for you. Again the idea of a middleman playing a big role will apply here.

Whatever comes up, you would be making a big commitment, for Saturn will appear with the new moon eclipse. Saturn is the planet of longevity and serious promises, so whatever venture you agree to now is likely to carry you years into the future. Saturn is also the great teacher and taskmaster, so there will be a mentor or older more experienced person on hand to help you learn all the facets of your new project or position.

If you are a Pisces born March 1, plus or minus four days, you will benefit the most from this eclipse November 3. The same is true if you have Pisces rising at 11 degrees, or the moon or natal planet in Pisces, within five degrees of that degree.

Mercury was retrograde last month, starting October 21, although you felt the slowdown that Mercury brings as early as October 1. Now, as you enter November, Mercury will still be retrograde, but only until November 10. After that, things will move forward, and you won't find you are waiting for things to happen - in fact, a lot will be happening, all at once! If you need to sign an important contract, or send a vital application, do so on November 12 or 13, leaving a little space from the day Mercury turns. The very best day to sign, however, would be when Mercury (contracts, agreements) will collaborate with Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, on Wednesday, November 27. Can you wait that long? That's a brilliant day.

This month has two very opposite days. On November 6, Saturn will conjoin the Sun, making for an arduous day, when a VIP seems to be hard to please. There is a very heavy overtone to this day, so just take the news you get with objectivity, and try to distance your emotions from what is going on.

Then, just a few days later, you have one of your happiest days, November 12, when the Sun and Jupiter create a perfect trine aspect - indicating pure harmony - and allow you some sort of breakthrough. Travel would be fun on November 12, as would anything having to do with academia, the media, the courts system, immigration matters, or international relationships or trade. November 12 will be a happy day - you can use it to socialize.

November 13 will be a big day, when Neptune will finally go direct, having been retrograde since June 7. Neptune is your ruler and your muse, and so when Neptune goes out of phase, it is very difficult to get a big new project to "stick." Plans seem to languish, people are indecisive, and it's like walking through glue. Now, all that changes when your guardian planet, Neptune, turns direct, November 13. You will see the beat go faster, and you will be gratified to see that it will be easier to get your ideas approved.

On another note, you may be finishing a writing or speaking assignment on November 17, the full moon in Taurus (25 degrees ), influential for plus or minus four days. This will be a beneficial full moon and will light your third house of quick, short travel. You may be heading out of town to see friends, your sibling, or cousin, or to do work - most likely work that taps your communication skills - and no matter what the reason, you are likely to adore the pampering accommodations you are given and the people that you meet.

On this full moon, November 17, you may give a speech or send in your finished manuscript. Your article may become a magazine cover story, or your book may be translated into other languages. You may get exceptional publicity in the newspapers, blogs, or TV, or you may put a new cell phone app on the market. If you are in software development, you may have a new software solution to sell. This would be the right time for a publicity, direct mail, or advertising campaign to be fully launched. If you need more letterhead or business cards, have it designed after November 10 and ready to be at the printer by this full moon, November 17.

This full moon is sweet because you will have a lovely shimmering beam from Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, in your fifth house of love, romance, and creativity - all may come into play at this time. Socially, you may meet someone or find a way to display your creativity in an unusually beautiful, compelling way. Your adoring public will be quite excited about your output on November 17.

The following day, Monday, November 18, will likely be a grand day for news about your income. Mars and Jupiter will work together to help you make money from a creative effort, and you will feel this energy at play over the several days leading to this day, November 15-17 too. If you are an artist, writer, or actor, for example, these are the days you would easily be able to impress the powerful people at the top - those who hold the purse strings. Many people will be willing to pay to enjoy your work, so there will be profit potential. This is also a wonderful span of days to enjoy romance, November 15-18, covering a divine weekend.

The month ends on a wonderful note. November 27 will bring Mercury in dazzling angle to Jupiter, so you may get a wonderful email or text that has you tingling. Or, if you are traveling, you will find everything about this trip is special. (Mercury is, after all, the travel planet. Ironically, by November 27, Mercury will be perfectly angled to Jupiter, the giver of happiness, in your most romantic house. It looks like if you do travel, you might not be alone - you'll bring your one and only.

In the US, the next day is Thanksgiving, November 28, so many people will be on the road. Unfortunately, next month, the time around Christmas and New Year's will not be a good time to travel as cosmic storms will again be rolling in, starting December 21 and extending through the New Year until January 10 or so. I feel terrible saying this, as I love this time of the year, but I feel at this time people will be on edge.

It would be best to keep your holiday plans low key and private next month, rather than spend a lot of money traveling and possibly running into snags and finding conflict with emotional people. If you hoped to escape for a romantic holiday, say, to Paris for New Year's, change that plan to Valentine's Day, February 14. Mercury will again be retrograde in February, but at least you won't encounter the rough aspects (and cranky relationships) at play at the end of December. This year, Valentine's Day will be relatively sweet, and Venus, the love planet, will no longer be retrograde as it will be December 21 to January 31. We have a year that will have great days side-by-side hard ones, so it will be more important than ever to choose your initiations with great care.

This month ends on an exciting note. Uranus will be in excellent angle to the Sun, November 30. This suggests you may get a surprise assignment that will pay you quite generously. The Sun will be in your house of honors, awards, achievement, and fame, and Uranus will be in your house of salary and other earned income. It seems your reputation precedes you, and that you will now receive a fine project because you got it the old-fashioned way - you earned it.

Romantically, Venus will be in Capricorn starting November 5 and remain in this highly compatible place - your house of fun, friends, and new acquaintances - until March 5. This practically guarantees that it won't be all work and no play for Pisces. Yay!

One of your favorite nights will be November 7, when Neptune will waltz with Venus, just like Fred and Ginger would do, whirling across a velvet blue sky that has been strewn with diamond-like stars. This will be a magically glamorous night, so be sure to be out and about, and take the time to look your very best.

This month will be romantic for both attached and single Pisces. Enjoy it, dear Pisces - October was a challenge, but November will be, in many ways, a treat.

Summary

Many planets in Scorpio - the sign known to dig deep for information - are now cuddled into your intellectual ninth house. You may be getting set to travel internationally, or you may be working with one or more global companies on an assignment, possibly one that involves the media. This same area of the chart rules going back to college, so you may be planning to get an advanced degree, or taking a qualifying test, such as the GREs, the SATs or the Bar exam, or to defend your thesis. Although nothing will be exactly easy because Saturn will arrive arm-in-arm with the Sun and new moon eclipse, if you are prepared and organized, you can come though with flying colors.

A major eclipse, November 3, will package the energy of the Sun, new moon, Saturn, and Mercury together, and all are found in Scorpio, and moving through the ninth house. Saturn will be very close to the Sun, so you will be in quite a serious mode, and need to work very hard on your goals. If an authority figure criticizes your work, do not let that person's words crush you if you hear them near November 6. Take the words in the spirit they are given - to improve your performance.

At the same time - and all month - keep an eye on your health. This is a solar eclipse, which would emphasize the actions you take to care for yourself. If you get subtle messages from your body that you need to slow down or get a medical opinion, stop and go for it, and don't let "I'm too busy" be an excuse. The buildup of planets in Scorpio will support you all the way. Scorpio is the sign of regeneration and rebirth, so this says that both your projects you work on as well as what you do to care for your body will help you feel transformed.

There will be an exceptional emphasis on writing and speaking in November, and by the full moon, November 17, you will come to culmination on an important assignment. Jupiter, the good fortune planet, will be prominent, so the applause for your work will be deafening. You are taking creative chances now with your work, and they are paying off, big time.

Neptune, your ruler, has been retrograde since June, and will turn direct on November 13, pushing all your desires forward now, with no more waiting. You will see the pace of life pick up in a gratifying way. Pisces, you are coming into your own, and your artistic expression is about to reach new heights. Watch for proof of this on November 12, when your creative ideas will blow away everyone in earshot.

Romantically, one of your most outstanding days will be when Venus and Neptune find love and happiness on November 7, and sprinkle sparkling silver dust here, there, and everywhere. It's a glamorous night so don't miss the chance to have fun.

Another golden night for love will be when Jupiter signals the Sun on November 12. That's a Tuesday, but nevertheless, if single, that day may dazzle you with the warmth of the person you meet.

By the weekend, on November 15-17, friends will keep you in all their plans, and Venus, close to Pluto, could bring on a full moon effect, where social events will be reach a high point.

On November 18, if you are in an established relationship, your partner will be especially loving and attentive.

Also watch November 27, for travel will likely light up your life. As you see, you'll have lots to celebrate in November, dear Pisces.
