You made it through the tough aspects in early October that tested your determination and possibly the strength of one of your closest romantic or business relationships too. The new moon, October 4, was not easy, for it likely brought up challenges, but you are doing so well. For a little while longer, I want you to keep your guard up. You are entering a positive month, not nearly as hard as October may have proven to be, but when it comes to a close, committed relationship, I want you to continue to monitor all that is said to you.
A new moon starts a trend for the coming twelve months, and a full moon ends a trend and brings things to fruition or culmination. All that you do in the days that follow the new moon can help matters in the coming year, and you would always have two weeks in which to plant those seeds.
If you are single, the new moon of October 4 was a gentle warning to not go into a relationship quickly, but to first learn as much as you can about the new person that has intrigued you. Your tendency to believe the best in others can now work against you, as charming as that quality is in you, and that everyone finds so loveable. Your ruler, Mars, was opposite Neptune on the new moon October 4, so you were not likely to see everything at once about the person you may have recently met.
We are now between two eclipses, and they will be the last ones of 2013. Eclipses always coincide with new or full moons, and are super-powerful, with the strength of three new moons or full moons rolled into one. They are also nonnegotiable, so whatever news they bring is almost always final, and there is no way back. Eclipses shake us out of our complacency and push us forward very fast, as if by hurricane winds. The universe wants us to get out of weak or debilitating circumstances, and if you know the situation is bad, but you don't make a hard decision on your own, the eclipse will make it for you. Of course, it's always better to be in charge, rather than to let things go and let the eclipse push events for you.
The last eclipse was a full moon lunar eclipse of October 18 that fell in the sign of Aries, 25 degrees. Did you notice anything important at that time? Was there any news or opportunity that came up what was out of the ordinary? Aries born April 15 to 19 were in the path of that eclipse, as were those with Aries rising 20 to 29 degrees.
If you have your horoscope, look to see if you have any planets in Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn within five degrees of 25 degrees, for that planet will be lit up too. Mark down on your calendar that the planet felt the eclipse. My book, Planets and Possibilities (in all bookstores, print and digital, and in nine languages), has a chapter outlining what every planet rules in life. This will be helpful to know.
Did you hear any news or see any intriguing events transpire that may lead to more within four days of October 18? If not, in that case, wait until November 18, plus or minus four days, and watch closely to see what comes up. In about twenty percent of the cases, we feel the eclipse one month to the day later. That eclipse had to do with your feelings about yourself and how you view your capabilities. Often we don't notice that we are growing, developing talents, and becoming more mature and sophisticated until we take a moment to stop, look back, and see how far we have come. It's a time of taking stock.
The October 18 eclipse also put a spotlight on your closest relationship, such as with your steady sweetheart or spouse. If you have had problems getting along with your romantic attachment, things appear to be growing toward a critical mass. This suggests you either will grow closer, or split. I would suggest you decide which way you want things to go BEFORE you get to the next eclipse, in your opposite sign of Libra, on April 15.
That April 15 eclipse is due to be a monster, so if the relationship is dear to you, find a way to fix things now, and don't let things languish. You have a little over five months to get things in better shape. Mars is soon to move into your opposite sign of Libra on December 7 until July 25, 2014, so if your partner has any grievances, you will hear about those in full force. Your partner will no longer keep feelings hidden.
All eclipses come in pairs, and the one linked to the October 18 full moon lunar eclipse will be a new moon solar eclipse that will arrive at Scorpio 11 degrees on November 3. This solar eclipse of November 3 will light your eighth house of credit, loans, and taxes, and will help you make a serious, long-range decision to stabilize your finances. An entire gaggle of planets will line up in Scorpio in that house, including Saturn. This house rules banks, lawyers, courts, venture capitalists, and others who hold the purse strings and are in a position to give you money (or not). I feel positive about this eclipse because it is so beautifully angled to Mars, your ruler, and the planet that has the job of taking good care of you.
Mars is in your work sector, so this new eclipse could bring an offer for a new position, or at the very least, an invitation to interview. Pluto will be friendly too, and because Pluto is in your house of prestigious career success, the position you are invited to come in and discuss will be very prestigious. This bodes so well for your outlook at this time. If you've been out of work, this could seem like a miracle.
Saturn will be aligned within three degrees of the Sun and new moon, and within five degrees of Mercury. With all these planets in your financial house orbiting shoulder to shoulder, it is clear that something is about to happen that that will revolve around other people's money. Although a serious moment of the year, I feel you will arise triumphant.
You may fill out papers to get an insurance payout that you feel is due you, or agree on a new benefits / vacation / health insurance package at work. If you are in sales, your company may be adjusting the quota for each of the sales people, including you. If you don't like the changes that will be announced in regard to your quota, you can always plan to leave - January would be a good time to go to another, more prestigious job, no matter what you do for a living. In January, you will have many planets and a new moon to light your house of fame and honors.
If you need mortgage, with Jupiter in your home sector, you are favored to get the mortgage you seek this month. If you hope to refinance your current mortgage at a more attractive rate, your timing is right for making an application. The most fortunate part of your chart will be related to your home and family (specifically from one of your parents), so it seems logical that if you want to lease, buy, or sell a space, or ask your parent for money, you are favored now. Take action prior to the date that Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, will depart to another sign on July 16, 2014, but AFTER Mercury turns direct this month, November 10.
Of course, with eclipses, whatever you did in the past counts for a lot, so if you were careful to keep your credit rating high, you will see reward now. Every aspect we experience is linked to the next one like pearls on a necklace. We are not born into a month new - we take with us our victories, experiences, a few disappointments, and all our hopes and dreams.
Sometimes we cannot help when things go wrong. For example, you may have seen your credit suffer if you lost a job, were a victim of a natural disaster, lost your house or business in the recent economic crisis, or got sick. Any of those situations (and more) can be an instant drain on finances - and a credit score can sink. Some reversals cannot be helped, but as soon as you get on your feet, you can right things again, even if it takes time. As long as we are alive, we can set a plan to be victorious again, for life offers endless opportunities to those who are passionate and determined to succeed.
If you are in the process of a divorce, you may now open talks, but those conversations will likely proceed at a snail's pace, as Saturn, so active at the November 3 eclipse, is know to bring lots of paperwork and slow deliberations. Be patient, for I am optimistic about how this will go. With Mars in your opposite sign of Libra, things may get contentious at times (between now and July 25 when Mars will leave Libra), but things will not be argumentative now, in November. This is a good month where you can make much progress. (Instead, watch next month, when Mars will oppose Uranus on December 24-25, days when someone who you are related to may try to provoke you.)
All in all, November will be a far cry better than what you experienced in October. Solar eclipses like the one on November 3 tend to open a new path in the weeks ahead (such as in terms of your financial situation), and not end one as the October 18 eclipse was poised to do. (October 18 was more about you and your desires, not money.)
Continue to take good care of your health, as you will be under some strain. The solar eclipse lights your house of surgery (medical and dental), so you might attend to a procedure that you've put off until now. Ideally, you can do so November 12.
You will encounter several days this month I want to tell you about, so let's list them now.
November 6 brings Mars, your ruler, in perfect angle to Saturn, making for a solid day to have talks for the future. On this day, do not etch anything in stone quite yet, as Mercury will still be retrograde until November 10. Things will improve almost immediately.
Your best day of the month will be November 12, a day I have tweeted about continually throughout October (my Twitter name is @AstrologyZone.) I love this day, for the Sun and Jupiter will be in perfect sync. Mercury will have gone direct by this point in the month, so you have all systems go! This is a day you can use for any purpose, but especially for anything home related. You may close on a house, buy furniture, paint, choose a roommate - you name it, you will enjoy your decisions if you act on this day.
November 12 has benefits that extend well beyond this day, for healing and health, for excellence in justice and law, for superb negotiation, and for love, sweet love as well - too many special things to list!
A financial deal may not go right on November 14 when Venus will be in hard angle to Uranus, planet of surprise, so you won't see the problem coming and could have a loss. Still, you are about to hear good news, so keep your shirt on.
The full moon, November 17, will come next in Taurus, and a financial matter will come to a finish. You may need to write a large check, or buy something expensive, possibly home related. Or, your focus may be on a parent who may need you to help him or her financially for a specific reason. Or, one parent may help you instead, just the reverse!
This full moon will be in supportive angle to Jupiter, so again, the theme of positive news coming about real estate, a renovation, or home design may shine brilliantly, and could explain what you will be spending your money on this month. Or, you may benefit from your parent or other family member in a financial way at the full moon.
If you work on a part-time or project-by-project basis, this full moon should also help you receive a new and important assignment or client. I say this because the following day, on November 18, Mars, now in Virgo in your workaday sector, will receive fantastic news from Jupiter. November 18 is another superb day for you that deserves a big gold star on your calendar!
Keep in mind that November 18 will be linked to the eclipse of October 18, under two conditions - 1) If you have a birthday that falls sometime near April 15 to 19, and 2) you did not hear any news last month. In this case, something dearly important to you should come to culmination. That eclipse was in your sign, Aries, underscoring all that is important and personal to you, for it lit the first house of you. This same house rules your health and vitality, so watch for how you feel then too.
This month holds Thanksgiving in the United States, on Thursday, November 28, which is said to be the most heavily trafficked holiday of the year. Happily, the day prior to Thanksgiving, we have Mercury in sublime angle to Jupiter, making travel a happy experience for you, and all your communication should be smooth and upbeat as well. (This won't be at all what I will say as we get close to Christmas next month, through New Year's - at that time, you will hear me beg you to stay home.)
Also, on November 27 and 28 Mercury and Jupiter will cook up great experiences - in travel, writing, speaking - the works! No matter where you live in the world, you will of course benefit.
Finally, on November 30, the Sun in Scorpio and Uranus in Aries will be in sparkling angles to each other, spreading pixie dust everywhere. More money may come your way! If money or a gift arrives, it will come right out of the blue and leave you breathless.
Summary
With five planets, including Saturn, the taskmaster planet, crowded into your house of credit, mortgage, taxes, student loans, and other types of funds that come under the realm of "other people's money," you will be crunching numbers at the calculator. The fact that the new moon solar eclipse, November 3, will be part of this group of heavenly bodies convening in this financial part of your chart suggests you will make practical, sound decisions about money - do so on or after November 12. The solar eclipse also suggests that you may hear about a new source of income that would arrive in one payment.
If you need to borrow, don't ask for a penny more than you need, for with Saturn close, you will likely need more time than you anticipated to pay off the loan. Also, when you apply, make sure your paperwork is accurate, or your application will be held up for weeks. Errors will undermine your credibility - Saturn always insists that all information be detailed, and that all rules have been followed. Mercury will be retrograde until November 10, so don't send any applications until mid-to-late month.
Mars, your ruler, now in Virgo, will be in agreement with all the Scorpio planets in your financial house, so get ready for many new projects. I also feel this suggests your application for money has a good chance of being approved. Venus will move to Capricorn in your reputation sector, and you seem to be on VIPs' short list of stars to groom for bigger things. Indeed, you will be impressing higher ups at a rapid rate, and you'll see the truth of this on November 12 and 15.
If you are self-employed (as many Aries prefer to be), then November may work out to be quite lucrative, allowing you to pay down debt and get on stronger footing. By the full moon, November 17, you will conclude your large emphasis on money and can devote your attention to other, lighter (and more fun) pursuits.
Home and other property may be a priority too. If you need a new place to live, wait until Mercury is no longer retrograde on November 10. (This Mercury retrograde started October 21.) Jupiter will give you enormous family support and luck with real estate now until mid-July (the best in 12 years), whether you hope to buy, sell, or lease. Expect outstanding luck with home and family matters on November 12, when Jupiter will signal the Sun. You may find the ideal space or a beautiful piece of furniture at a bargain price on this extraordinarily fortunate day.
Love will come in time, but won't be a major focal point for you in November. That may be fine with you - the holidays are on the way, the time for you to shine.
Dates to Note: Aries
Most romantic dates, and days you can use for other things too: November 4, 8, 9, 17, 18, 22, 23, 27, and 28.
Realign your finances on the solar eclipse November 3.
Balance your checkbook near November 5 - you may need to tighten your belt temporarily, due to the Sun conjunct Saturn.
Jupiter will go retrograde on November 7. If you hope to sell a house, may have to adjust the price soon.
A job interview may lead to success, when Mars works with Saturn on November 8.
Mercury was retrograde since October 21 and will now turn direct November 10.
Go shopping on November 12 for something beautiful to add to your home.
Do not go on a date on November 14, when Venus will be at odds with Uranus in Aries. Finances may gyrate on this day.
More money may come in to you as a result of a side job that you do near the full moon November 17.
Money will again be on your mind at the full moon November 17. Thanks to friendly planets, not only will money go out at the full moon, but also come in.
On November 18-19, your ruler Mars will reach out to Jupiter. These are great days to ask for a favor from your family or to make a real estate deal.
Great days to travel are November 26, 27, and 30.
The fact that Mercury will still be retrograde, also in Scorpio, until November 10 means you may have to work hard to get checks sent to you (or already were on the phone and emailed a lot in late October).
Check your credit report for accuracy, as you may find something disturbing on it to make you swing into action and get it removed near the eclipse November 3.
If you have applied for a bank loan, you may find the bank needs more information, as odd as that may sound. You may find things speed up after November 10, as that is the date Mercury goes direct.
