We are now in eclipse season, which means the events of October and this month will have extra weight. Take note of what comes up, for those events will point you in a new direction in the coming weeks and months. An eclipse will move you forward by testing the strength of your involvement and passion for a person, venture, or circumstances that you find yourself in currently.
Last month, we had an eclipse October 18, and you may have seen changes to your work life. A new client may have entered your life, or a former client may have left for another firm. Or, someone you work with regularly and who is on your level (or else reports to you), may have been "eclipsed out" of your life last month when this person announced a departure. Your house of secrets was touched, so you may have heard a secret someone was trying to keep from you, or you noticed office politics had gone out of control. News came out about what others were doing, and when you got it, you may have experienced a eureka moment when all became clear.
It is also possible that last month you had a health matter that needed to be addressed. You may have felt the need to see a doctor, or to talk things over with a psychologist, or if you have a substance problem, to go into rehab. In that respect, the eclipse was your friend, and by highlighting the condition, the universe is trying to get you well.
If nothing happened near October 18, news occasionally is delivered one month to the day later, plus or minus four days. That is true in approximately twenty percent of eclipse reports - that means watch this month, November 18, plus or minus four days.
You may want to reread what I wrote for October for you. You can always find the link to the previous month's forecast just below your Dates to Note (if you scroll down, you will see that section), and just above my PS (postscript) of announcements I make below your forecast each month.
Eclipses always come in pairs, two weeks apart, and they always coincide with a new moon and full moon. If the mathematical degree of the eclipse touches your Sun, moon, ascendant, or other natal planets, you will feel it. The eclipse - the one last month - was a lunar full moon eclipse, October 18, in Aries 25 degrees. The new moon solar eclipse of this month will arrive on November 3. It will be in your opposite sign of Scorpio (six months away from your birthday) at 11 degrees.
This month's eclipse will affect you much more directly, as it will light your seventh house of committed partnerships, such as in marriage. This eclipse may trigger news that may bring your engagement or marriage soon, or if the relationship is not strong, you may go through a breakup at as a result of news that is uncovered near eclipse time.
It is possible that this month's eclipse may not focus on your romantic life, but instead on an important business collaboration, such as the kind you may have with a business partner, agent, publicist, manager, ghost writer of your book, or other close association with an expert, including such professionals as even your lawyer or doctor. It is unlikely that you would feel the eclipse in both a romantic and a business sense - it usually is one or the other.
Either way, if the relationship is strong, it will become stronger and closer, but if it is toxic or flawed, it will be swept away in coming weeks and months, sooner than you would ever think possible. The universe wants to see you use your time well on earth, and if the situation is weak, it will break under the tests of the eclipse.
The new moon November 3 solar eclipse will set you on a new path for many months to come. New moon solar eclipses like this one start trends, but they don't finish them in the way full moon lunar eclipses would do (for that, look back to the one October 18).
You will have Saturn conjunct the Sun on this coming eclipse, so you will have an important decision to make that will stay in place a very long time. If single, to stay and evolve your close relationship to one in the next level, by being exclusive or getting engaged. If you have given up on the future of your relationship, you will break it off once and for all.
To help you decide, the eclipse will bring new facts to light quite suddenly, for all eclipses do that. All eclipses bring floodlight into the area of the chart that they are studying. Saturn's appearance always portends a weighty decision, and once you make it, it will be in place a very long time, most likely forever.
Both Mars and Pluto will be friendly to the November 3 solar eclipse in Scorpio, the reason why I feel you may like the events that flow from it. Scorpio has two rulers, and remarkably, it happens that both rulers - Mars and Pluto - will make strong and friendly mathematical aspects to the Sun and new moon on November 3. This means that the eventual, ultimate outcome of this eclipse will likely be positive for you - have faith in that.
This eclipse - the Sun and new moon - will be flanked by Mercury and Saturn, indicating that with so many heavenly bodies opposite your Sun, you will almost have to be flexible and resourceful. You won't be able to get all things your way, but you will be able to come to a conclusion that is right for you. You are a practical soul, so you will likely prepare to compromise with a good nature (assuming you have not been betrayed by this person). When planets start to move to your side of the chart, say, by January, you will be more in control.
Mars is currently in your sector of love / children / pregnancy house, so the loving, emotional side of your life will light up and may become a big theme. If you are single, you may meet someone new under this eclipse. Or, you may decide to have a baby, adopt one, or have a surrogate help you give birth to a baby. If you already have a child, you may be doing something special for that child, such as getting a special teacher or expert to help that child. If your child is older, you may be giving advice to your grown son or daughter. Your children appear to be sublimely protected, so if you have worried about them, say, because you are going through a divorce, it appears you are doing a great job in caring for them and making them feel secure.
Alternatively, this same area of the chart that rules love and children also happens to rule creativity, so you may also (or alternatively) see a new creative project start up, and if so, it would be one very close to your heart and allow you to put a great deal of your individuality into the project.
The fact that Pluto will send his gifts of transformation and metamorphosis to you during this eclipse from his perch in your ninth house means you may be encouraged to travel quite far this month, so you might go to a foreign country or to a very distant city in your own country. If you go, you are likely to go with your partner. Or, Pluto may encourage you to return to the university or get other training, or to start on your thesis. Matters of immigration (visa, passport, green card) will be improved at this time, and legal matters will be more easily progressed after Mercury goes direct November 10.
Mercury, the thinking planet, has been retrograde since October 21, in your house of partner, the same area that the eclipse is lighting on November 3.
If you have to make any big moves, such as to sign a contract, or buy something expensive or electronic, wait until after November 10. That is the day Mercury will go direct at long last. I particularly love November 12 for an action, and will discuss that day later.
With Mars in your true love sector until December 7, the romantic side of life is looking up. You may meet someone new, or you may have an unexpected pregnancy. If you are in love, a surprise pregnancy won't likely pose a problem, but if not, you will need to decide what to do. Eclipses never give us much time - they strike like lightning - so keep your schedule relatively open at the time of the eclipse.
If your birthday falls within five days before or after May 1, you will feel this eclipse more powerfully and directly than your Taurus friends who were not born at that time.
If you have Taurus rising within five degrees of 11 degrees, you will also likely feel this eclipse. If you have your natal chart, see if you have any planets at 11 degrees Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn, or Pisces, Cancer, or Scorpio - those planets will be sensitized quite a bit too.
If you have a planet, make a note on your calendar which planet will be spotlighted, for it will be handy for you to know as you move forward. In my book, Planets and Possibilities (paper or digital, nine languages), I wrote details about each planet, so you can refer to my book for that.
Two days later, a gorgeous aspect, the best of the month, will come up, November 12, when The Sun and Jupiter will collaborate and shower you in golden vibrations. Again you will get a chance to travel, but this time, it will be a shorter distance. Because your partner will be named on this day too, you may be able to plan a trip with your one-and-only. I want to be clear - if your relationship is strong, you may have so much to celebrate this month as you both draw closer!
With a crowd of planets opposite your Sun, you will need to monitor your health, as this can be a draining month. The Sun has traveled as far from your own Sun as is possible, 180 degrees away, along with the new moon and Saturn. Saturn opposed to the Sun can be hard, so eat right, get enough sleep, and ask your doctor to run routine tests to see how you are doing.
When a person has Saturn on the Sun, as the Scorpios do now, that person gets to choose a big life commitment that they are willing to take on. When Saturn is opposed to the Sun (just the opposite, which you now have), then the universe chooses the commitment for you. You may feel a bit isolated or alone, swimming in waters by yourself. This is all part of the training of Saturn, and we all go through it. Although at times life can seem impossible to navigate, you will find a reservoir of power within you that you never knew existed, the entire point of Saturn's exercise.
If at any time you feel the challenges are too much, you must learn to ask for help from others around you. Feeling comfortable about asking for a hand - in a very specific way - from family or a dear friend is also part of the experience of having Saturn opposed to the Sun. Don't be shy. We all need to ask one another for help at some point in life, and there is nothing wrong with that. I am sure you would be the first to help someone else if the situation were reversed. Additionally, banish the naysayers, and surround yourself with people who believe in you.
Saturn first started to oppose your Sun on October 2012 and will continue until September 2015, with a huge break in the first six months of 2015 when Saturn will not be in Scorpio but in Sagittarius. (Saturn will be back to Scorpio during the middle months.) That means in the first half of 2015, you will get lots of relief, and it will only be while Saturn tours Scorpio for three months in the middle of 2015 that you will still have Saturn opposed to your Sun, but that will be at the tail end of this trend. For all practical purposes, once you get to the end of 2014, you will be done.
If you were born in April, Saturn has already given you your direct tests, and for you, the hardest part of Saturn's test is over. Saturn will now begin to tutor the Taurus with birthdays that fall in the first week of May. My own experience is that my biggest achievements took place when Saturn was highly active in my chart. You will see - this period may give you many reasons to celebrate later.
Now, let's turn back to this month. Saturn will be conjunct the eclipse of November 2, which only means you will be in a serious, thoughtful mode, and if you make a decision, you will stick to it - good!
Next, we will have a full moon in Taurus 25 degrees on November 17, likely to be a vital one, for something dearly important to you is about to come to culmination. It will be a matter so close to your heart that even I, as your astrologer, cannot tell you what the topic might be. From where you sit, you may have an inkling of what it may be. Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, will be in ideal angle to this full moon, so there is indication you might sign a contract, and if so, this agreement would have a very positive effect on you. Sign on November 17 or 18, or on November 27, another incredibly lucky date for you for finding accord.
Alternatively, I also feel that this full moon may bring a quick trip to a not-too-distant city, thanks to the interplay of Mars and Jupiter on November 18, a red-letter day. This aspect is a wonderful one and will be spreading pixie dust over the preceding weekend November 16-17 too as it comes to peak. Consider taking a trip with your one-and-only - this could be a highly romantic weekend for you, for Mars is in your true love sector. Perfect!
If your birthday falls May 16, plus or minus five days, you will feel the effects of this full moon November 17 quite powerfully. The same is true if you have Taurus rising at 25 degrees, or have a natal planet or moon close to 25 degrees Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Pisces, Virgo, or Capricorn. Again, it would be wise to make a note of that planet on your calendar.
Saturn will be opposite your Sun if you were born near May 16, so if you have to make a tough decision and end a relationship, it could happen, but you will feel powerful and strong throughout. This comes thanks to Pluto's revitalizing vibrations on you. Pluto will also help you if you have a health concern. I only mention this because a small number of readers may relate, but even should that be you (and I am not saying it will be), you will have a positive outcome from actions you take at this time.
Your career may bring outstanding and very unexpected news on November 30 when the Sun and Uranus will be in perfect sync. That is a Saturday, but you will feel this vibration on November 29 and December 2 as well, both weekdays. You will get bigger professional breakthroughs and news by February, but for now, those days are special for you.
Romantically, you have so much going for you. Neptune has been slumbering since June 7, but will go direct this month on November 13. Neptune is involved with your social life, so you should see things heat up in a lovely way after this date - watch for clues. You will likely be with more friends, they will be helpful to you, and generally your social life will go better.
Venus will cooperate too by being in a fellow earth sign, Capricorn, an ideal place for you, dear Taurus. If you can travel with your sweetheart, by all means, do!
Summary
This will be an enormously important month for one of your close relationships. A new moon solar eclipse will start the ball rolling November 3. Eclipses clarify things and will push events forward by asking for a reaction or decision soon, within a few weeks, and it doesn't matter if you are ready or not. There is no putting off a choice at eclipse time - when it comes to love, you will either have to show you want to spend forever together, or part soon, without regret. Saturn will be conjunct the Sun, so your mood will be serious and thoughtful. With the Sun, new moon eclipse, Mercury, and Saturn all in your opposite sign of Scorpio, you won't have full control, so you may have to compromise on something.
If you are in love with the person you've been dating, considerations about money may cause you to hesitate about committing to marriage. You may feel that you can't afford to marry just yet, or you may say you have not yet saved enough money, but the true reason may be that you aren't sure the person you are seeing is right for you. With Saturn close to the Sun, a housing situation seems to concern you very much, and it may take time and energy to fix. Saturn's proximity to the Sun also suggests a male in your life is under extreme pressure. These obstacles and situations may dissolve in time. All things come when love is ready to bloom.
The very strong cosmic emphasis on "just us two" may extend into the business arena without the emphasis on love but rather on forming a serious business collaboration or joint venture. Again, if you are in contractual negotiations, you'll need to show you are conciliatory and not pinned to one idea or path. With your current planetary setup, it is doubtful any plan you present now will sail through without substantial changes. Sometimes collaborations bring a valuable dynamic tension that work to greatly improve the project, so keep an open mind. You do have fortune Jupiter standing by to help you in just the place you need him to be - in your contract / communications house - so be optimistic! You can now be articulate and highly persuasive - at your best.
For those not in a romantic relationship, Mars' position in Virgo will be a blessing, for Mars will be in the best sector possible to help you meet someone new and interesting to date (fifth house). Venus will help too, for as of November 5, Venus will be in fellow earth sign Capricorn and amp up your charms. Travel will fan the fires of love, as well, so if you can take a vacation anytime after November 5, by all means, do.

Most romantic dates, and days you can use for other things too: November 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 15, 16*, 17, 20, 21, 25, 26, and 30.
*November 16 has a grand trine in earth signs involving the planets moon, Venus, Pluto, and Mars.
The solar eclipse on November 3 in Scorpio may bring a merging of energies between you and a partner in business or in love.
November 5-6 you will be working hard. If you get criticism from a VIP, try to take in the spirit is in given, to make your performance better.
Jupiter will go retrograde November 6 - this may hold up some financial dealings.
If sending a manuscript or signing a contract this month, do so prior to the date Jupiter turns retrograde, November 6.
A promise made in love on November 8 is a promise that stays forever.
November 12 is a great day to socialize or to take a trip for business or pleasure.
Venus, your ruler, will be at odds with Uranus on November 14, making this not a good date night.
On November 16, a golden triangle in earth signs brings luck and should set your spirits soaring.
The full moon in Taurus on November 17 could bring to fruition something dearly important to you.
