Your relationships are on the upswing, and if you are happy attached, you will be delighting in the way things are progressing. No doubt you are growing closer. Last month, Jupiter, the planet called the Great Benefic, moved into your marriage and business partnership sector, making the rest of 2013 and the first half of 2014 an ideal time to wed. Jupiter has not visited this area of your chart for twelve years, so its influence is new. You can direct this superb energy for business alliances too, so you need not think only in terms of marriage. If you are already married, you will likely see your partner prosper and become more optimistic, and you will, too.

As a Capricorn, you are a whiz at business talks and deals, but when it comes to personal relationships, you tend to be wary about making formal commitments, for you may feel like you are wading out to deep water. You certainly did have your share of shocks in the relationship department in December 2009, throughout 2010, and perhaps on July 1, 2011, due major eclipses in Cancer and Capricorn that were raging at the time.

Moving forward, you need not be so worried about seeing a repeat of those years, dear Capricorn. If I were to say, are you afraid of making a business merger? You would say no, many mergers make perfect sense, for they strengthen both companies by making the new entity that is greater than the sum of the parts. When you think of marriage in this same way, it does not appear so scary. I am not saying you should necessarily marry. You, not your astrologer, are the only one who could ever decide that question. I am simply suggesting that marriage does have its privileges, and you may be cognizant of those privileges in coming months.

The golden triangle of three planets that was so prominent in July, linking Jupiter in your seventh house of formal collaborations and marriage, to Saturn in your house of hopes and wishes, and to Neptune in your house of travel and written, formal commitments was a stunning display of cosmic harmony. All these planets are still approximately 120 degrees apart in three different corners of the sky, forming a near-perfect triangle that will continue to benefit you.

I described this triangle and what it would mean to you last month. If you did not read your July forecast, you missed hearing about the golden triangle, a configuration so rare that astrologers all over the world were discussing it. When something this important shows up in the heavens, it behooves you to find a way to harness its energy in your personal or business life. If you did not stage any actions in July because you didn't know all this was happening above you in the heavens, you will get a second chance to do so in early August. Those planets are very slow moving and will still be close enough to give you some remarkable luck. Last month, energetic Mars toured your partnership sector starting July 13, and Mars will continue to do so now, until August 27. This tells me your mind will be clearly on your partner. At times you may worry because you may encounter differences in opinion and perspective on certain matters. Do not become overly concerned. See how things go between you in the coming weeks. Sometimes when two people disagree, it means they both are present, thinking and contributing thoughts and ideas, and some comments that at first seem alien to you might, on closer inspection, prove valuable. You won't know where you stand until after Mars leaves this sector on August 27.

If you are in the process of a divorce, or separating from a business partnership, you may find dividing property to be more difficult than you expected. Mars can cause disputes, so be ready. You are a calm, collected soul that relies on objective facts, a trait that will come in handy now. If you do have problems settling things with a soon-to-be ex-partner, talks are likely to be tense until mid-October. If possible, do your best to craft your agreement in August or September, for best luck.

Your home situation has been in flux since early 2011, but this month, over the weekend of August 3-4, you may get a sudden breakthrough to solve your situation. Or, you hear that you will be hosting guests from out of town - possibly from overseas. This first weekend of the month will be all about your home and family.

If you hope to get a mortgage, see your banker that weekend of August 3 to 4 - the results are likely to make you thrilled. If you have a house, you may be able to work with your bank to refinance to lower the interest rate on the mortgage. If you hope to buy furniture, this is the weekend to shop as you may find beautiful options at a discount. With Uranus so friendly, you are likely to be very surprised at the results.

When it comes to money, you will have an important new moon in Leo, 15 degrees, August 6, the perfect time to open talks about any financial matter on your mind. You may be able to get venture capital for a business idea, or a loan for a home improvement plan. Or, alternatively, you may finally find a way to fund your enrollment in college for an advanced degree. Big dreams require big money, but it seems you can find that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow this month if you look. You can also review your income and outgo and perhaps find ways to lower waste by cutting expenses for things you no longer need.

The eighth house, so lit up here, also rules surgery, so you might decide to have a medical procedure to do now that you have been putting off. Discuss the pros and cons of surgery with your doctor, and you may want to get a second opinion. Studies show most people do more research on their upcoming vacations than they do about their health-related questions. Don't let that be you - ask and you will learn. It is alternatively possible that someone close to you, such as a friend or family member, will have an operation, and if so, this person is showing up clearly in your chart, and you will be the one to care for that person and keep them cheerful as they recover.

Money will again be your focus at this month's full moon in Aquarius, 28 degrees, on August 20. This full moon will light your salary sector, so if you requested a raise, you are likely to hear the answer at this point, within four days plus or minus August 20.

This full moon, however, will be conjunct Neptune, so this planet's presence may suggest you are buying art or a musical instrument, for example, as Neptune rules the arts. Or, you may be selling a piece of art that you created, and if so, it seems you will get a fair, even generous, price.

If you are NOT selling or buying artwork, rare books, a piece of music you composed, or anything else related to the arts, be careful. Neptune encourages creativity, but it has another side, to cause confusion or to obfuscate certain facts when the topic has nothing to do with imagination or creativity. In this manifestation of Neptune, Neptune will set up a landscape that looks like the English countryside in the early morning - soft and pretty, filled with fog and dew, but with near zero visibility. In this case, your lawyer's advice would be worth its weight in gold, for someone may not be telling you the whole story, and in fact may even be pulling the wool over your eyes.

On August 21 (just one day after the full moon, making it an emotional time), Jupiter will be in hard angle to Uranus. If you are working toward getting a divorce settlement, you may find you get most of what you want, but the part that involves property may become a surprisingly tough bone of contention. You may not like the way the house, estate, or your living situation will be handled and divided in the divorce and you may be so shocked that you may not be able to find words - you need to find them. You won't have much time to strategize, as events will move quickly, so think on your feet and speak up for yourself if you feel you are not being treated fairly.

More emphasis on money management will occur at month's end, when Mars moves into Leo for the first time in two years, August 27 to October 15. That period might prove to be an expensive one as Mars will push credit card usage up. You may already know you had a large payment coming up, or with your higher-than-usual expenses you may become very motivated to make more money because you need it!

With you wrapped in all this calculator tape in August, you need a little fun! You will get it from Venus in fellow earth sign Virgo in the first two weeks, until August 14. Mars will be in water sign Cancer, too, in your "let's make it official" sector until August 26.

Travel will fan the passions of love, so plan to go away for a long trip for two, just like the Owl and the Pussycat did in their pea-green boat that sailed away (according to poet Edward Lear) "for a year and a day to the land where the Bong-tree grows ."

Your partner will still be a major focus - a holdover from last month - and together you may be making great, exciting plans for the future. With Jupiter in your partnership / marriage house, it seems you are thinking in terms of either marriage or if not, in terms of another type of formal association, perhaps for a business. Mercury is no longer retrograde as it was in July, so you have an open road to get things done - delays that so dearly frustrated you have by now vanished. If you are not happy in your relationship, and can't ever imagine you will ever be compatible, you soon will find the courage to break free and make a completely new life for yourself.

Financial decisions that are related to your impending partnership, or that are completely independent of it, will be given a push forward at the new moon, August 6. This is a good time to rethink your financial portfolio and to strengthen it. Take a critical eye to recurring expenses, such as for your Internet usage, or cable bill. You may find ways to reduce costs overall and to cut out waste. If you are in sales, this new moon August 6 may allow you to find ways to generate a handsome commission in the ten days to follow. With Uranus, planet of surprise, involved, the financial opportunity that will come up suddenly. You will need to be alert to make best use of all that is being presented.

Money talks will finish up at the full moon in Aquarius on August 20, and at long last will bring a salary or fee matter to finish. If anyone owes you money, then you will get paid at this time, and if you owe others, you will write a rather large check and settle your accounts. If you are not merging energies with a partner, but divorcing instead (also possible), you may start to settle the division of property. Do so early in August, because once Mars enters Leo August 27 to October 15, you may be met with surprising resistance to any and all of your ideas for a fair split.

Although this month will accent those who are seriously attached, if you are single, you will have a very friendly Venus in fellow earth sign Virgo until August 15. This means the first half of August will be special, and you'll find that socially, others will respond to you quite well. On August 21, the Sun will enter Virgo for about four weeks, and also support your Capricorn Sun. Travel will increase your chances to find love or encourage love you already have, so spin your compass and go!

The new moon of August 6 will help your efforts to increase your cash flow, from August 6 and continuing for two weeks. If you need a mortgage, a bank loan or venture capital, this new moon will help you get the money you need.

The full moon of August 20, plus or minus four days, will help you wrap up financial matters completely. If anyone owes you, the check will likely come, but if you owe others, you will need to write and send the check now.
