Last month you had a very encouraging new moon on August 6 in your prestigious tenth house of career honors, awards, achievement, and fame. That was to be your best new moon of the year for your career progress. You may have already received one or two interesting calls or meetings, for this is your time to reach to a higher position than the one you had before. New moons open doors, but if you don't have the job yet, that sounds right - high-level jobs take time to win. No worries - you will have help from Mars.
On August 27, Mars, one of your two ruling planets, moved into Leo and settled into your solar tenth house of fame and honors, the same place that the new moon accented, and Mars is set to stay behind to help you until October 15. This great news because this once-in-two-year favor from Mars will help you take the talks that you began in early August and push them upward to a whole new level. Career talks will certainly percolate this month, so stay on the trail. You'll not have this kind of cosmic help again for a long time - make it work for you!
One day to circle in red on your calendar will be Friday, September 13, and Saturday, September 14, when Mars in your house of fame will receive outstanding golden beams from Uranus, planet of unexpected breakthroughs, now based in your sixth house of day-to-day work projects. You see what will be happening - these two planets will set up a direct link from your day-to-day work assignment(s) to your standing in your industry, increasing admiration from high level people for your work. Events of September 13-14 bring outstanding news, right out of the blue. That kind of news is often the most exciting, for you won't see it coming!
Also, in remarkable coincidence, Pluto, your other ruler, will go direct speed on September 20. Say goodbye to all the delays and glitches in searching for a job or pitching new business if you are self-employed, or even if you work for others. Having your ruling planet go direct is what you needed most to finally get proposals unstuck. Clients and others you deal with will be more decisive, and for that you will be overjoyed. If you have been working on a writing project, auditioning for movie, play, or commercial, or if you have been searching for ways to find accord for a contract negotiation, you will likely see your puzzle pieces fall into place on September 20, plus or minus one day.
The move of Pluto to direct speed will happen one the day after the friendly full moon in Pisces on September 19 (27 degrees). This full moon will energize your creative sector and bring an artistic or literary project to culmination, or at the very least, to a new plateau or stage. (This full moon will have other gifts for you, so stay with me - I will go back to this full moon later.)
Pluto will be very friendly to the new moon of September 5, and that new moon will light your house of friendship. This tells me that you may get extraordinary help from one friend who believes in you and who wants to see you to do well. This friend may give you a tip, introduction, or a reference that could unlock your career luck this month. The eleventh house, so beautifully lit for you will also give you help through your participation in associations or professional clubs or at a conference or trade show. This month, aim to pass out your business cards, and collect those of others, too.
This month seems so special for your career, dear Scorpio. Do you see how each aspect seems to build on the other, brick by brick, and each one will help you find that great job and allow you to feel the warmth of admiration of peers and VIPs alike? You have an ideal chart to excel this month. Be sure to be out and about circulating because you will encourage serendipitous luck on many fronts if you do. One last point: social media can help you, too - find the link between you and your favorite social media venue that you participate in. You can do really well this month, but you must extend yourself. You tend to be a private soul, and sometimes a bit shy, but the more you can overcome your yen to stay holed up in your office, the better you will do.
Even purely social events, like an invitation to a party, could help you in your career, doubly so if the party takes place on September 6-7, when the mighty Sun in your professional house will reach out to Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, in your house of foreign people, foreign places, long distance travel, the media (broadcasting and publishing companies and assignments), and legal matters. All these areas can bring you outstanding favor on these days - chose to focus on the one or two areas that apply to you. If you are about to take a major qualifying test, or will defend your thesis, you will generate incredibly strong favor on September 6 and 7. Anything involving immigration (green card, visa, passport) glows, too.
If your birthday falls on November 5, plus or minus four days, the September 5 new moon will help you in an outstanding way. If your birthday does not fall near that date, and you have your custom natal chart, see if you have a natal planet or your rising sign at 27 degrees Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer, or Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn. That planet will be lit up, and because this new moon is so friendly, that planet will help you. Keep notes on what happens in the two weeks that follow the new moon - see what types of opportunities come up and how those opportunities materialized - what triggered it? Over time you will learn how astrology works.
This month, Venus will visit Scorpio from September 11 until October 7, making you ultra-alluring during this phase. This is great news, for Venus, the so-called "lazy planet," will have you magnetizing others to you. You won't have to try too hard to find interesting romantic interests come over to you. Venus teaches the value of stepping back and having others come to you, something you'll appreciate very much as a Scorpio. This month, before you get to October, would be a fine time to go shopping for new clothes. Venus is in Scorpio so you'll get the results you're after and with lots of compliments heading your way, too. Do not do any big moves for your appearance in October - I will explain why in a minute, but first I want to continue to focus on romance, which should be so strong for you in September.
I mentioned the full moon in Pisces (27 degrees) earlier, September 19, in regard to how you will be seeing a creative / artistic / literary project to completion or a new level. This same full moon will be outstandingly friendly for love and romance. You may be invited to a beautiful event on this day, plus or minus four days (most likely over the weekend, September 21-22), but could be any day surrounding this tender full moon.
If you are single, you may meet someone new and intriguing at that point in the month, or you may grow closer to your steady partner or mate. You may also discuss the idea of having a baby, or you may even hear you or your partner is pregnant under this full moon. If you or your partner is already pregnant and coming to term, the baby has a very good chance of being born at this full moon in your house of children, September 19 plus or minus four days. It is also possible that one of the children you already have now will bring you happy news. As you see, if you are attached, or if you are single, this full moon will be so special, so be sure to do something out of the ordinary. Schedule a romantic dinner, attend an event - don't sit home! A full moon in Pisces is right up your alley.
If your birthday falls on November 19, or within four days before or after this date, you will enjoy this full moon very much - it is made for you! Love will be written all over your calendar. If you were not born a late Scorpio, then look at your personal natal chart to see if on the day you were born, and the hour of your birth, if you have a planet at 27 degrees Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer, or Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn. If so, you will see that planet light up quite a bit. Take notes on what happens, and remember to put down that this and this happened at the September 19 full moon.
The month will end on a gorgeous aspect, September 26, when Venus in Scorpio will be in ideal alignment to Jupiter in Cancer. Jupiter is the good fortune planet that is associated with good fortune, happiness, and joy. This would be an ideal day to travel quite a distance for business or romantic reasons. If you go for business, you are likely to come back with the order, as both Venus and Jupiter will work hard for you to see a profit. If you go away for romance, choose a very private place near a beautiful body of water for "just us two." If you are married or in an established relationship, this day will stand out for you, too - everyone wins.
I had briefly mentioned that it would not be wise to make radical changes to your appearance next month. October will not be easy. Although the cosmic storms rolling through the first week of October will affect the cardinal signs of Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn directly, everyone will notice tension in the air. October 1, 3, and the new moon October 4 all bring high key tension, and you will notice it in people you deal with on an everyday basis, even though you won't be directly involved. Then, a full moon lunar eclipse is due in Aries on October 19, always sure to kick up cosmic dust.
Finally, Mercury will go retrograde in Scorpio from October 21 to November 10. You will feel this particular Mercury retrograde period more than others because it will happen in your sign (or your rising sign - same thing). You need to get everything buttoned up this month before you get to October. We always feel Mercury retrograde periods at least two weeks before they occur, so you see how important it is to settle things in September. If I were you, I would make September 26 (that glorious day for you that I mentioned above) your final day to act on big things. If you have a launch for a new product or service, see if you can reschedule it for September or the second half of November.
Summary
Last month, you began to see encouraging signs that your career is about to start to zoom skyward and that a promotion or new position you've been searching for has a great shot at materializing soon. Expect results by month's end, or certainly by early to mid-November. Mars, the action planet, will energize your professional opportunities all month, making this your most important month in two years to advance to a new and more impressive title. While you may hit a wall on September 9 when Mars will clash with Saturn, you may hear very good news on September 13, when Mars has a friendly conversation with Uranus, planet of surprise, and on September 16, when Mars energizes Mercury. Mars is one of your two rulers, so Mars' actions in any given month are super-important for you to take note.
Your social life will be on the uptick, too, especially after the new moon arrives, September 5. It will be time to leave the comfort of your cave and venture out into the world to make new friends and associations. No man is an island, and this month you will see quite vividly how important it will be to you to have a friend nearby who believes in you and who will staunchly promote your interests.
You may decide to travel a far distance over your best weekend, September 7-8, when Jupiter will be ideally oriented toward the Sun. This trip should be a success, whether for business or pleasure, for you are due to see all your goals met. Matters involving international trade - services, goods, or information - will go well in the first week of the month, too. If you have anything to do with the courts, whether to file a trademark or patent, or to settle a dispute, you will see things go in your favor in the first week as well. If you are indeed in court, suggest a settlement on September 5 or 6, when your chances of finalizing this matter will be at a peak. Finally, do you work in broadcasting or publishing? You too will be showered in pixie dust.
Your other ruler, Pluto, was been retrograde since April 12, so if you've felt that you've been spinning your wheels and making too little progress, especially in matters of business, finance, and negotiation, you may see a heartening change from now on when Pluto moves direct September 20. Having your ruling planet in strong position is very exciting, so watch the days that circle September 19 for subtle signs that the tide has started to turn in your favor. Listen closely or you will miss the tiny breadcrumbs all big planets leave to show you the direction events will take in future weeks.
Bewitching romance will be in your stars within days of the full moon, September 19, when you will be able to weave a memory you will long remember. Pluto will be friendly to this new moon - and as said earlier, now moving in strong direct orbit - so you may decide to travel a short distance for a beautiful social event, possibly over the following Friday (September 20) or Saturday (September 21).
Venus will be in Scorpio from September 11 to October 7, and will link to Saturn in the third week. This suggests a new romance may ensue with someone older than you and with a widely different age from yours. In this case, it is more likely the person will be older than you. If you are already dating and feel you are in love, you may make a plan or a promise now - one that will last forever.
