Pisces Horoscope for September 2013

This is a month when you will enjoy conferring closely with your romantic or business partner. This is a very sunny month, so the "one plus one" of the relationship that you can form now will add up to much more than the sum of those two parts. In other words, you are about to create something bigger and better than what either of you could possibly do alone. It is a good feeling not to have the weight of the world on your shoulders, dear Pisces. This month it will be clear to you that you'll have someone who is as committed as you are to the outcome of a shared goal, and who will gladly help you with all the decisions that have to be made.

The emphasis on collaboration, partnership, commitment, and union will become very apparent from the minute the new moon in Virgo arrives on September 5 and in the two weeks that follow it. If you have been discussing the idea of teaming up in a business deal, or coupling up for an engagement or marriage, the talks will turn serious. Good! That means you both are on the same page and both eager to make promises to one another - and to stick to them. If you are ready, there is no reason to hold back. Complete plans now, not in October. (I will explain why later, but suffice to say, try not to let anything you can do now be delayed to October.)

The new moon of September 5 in Virgo (13 degrees) is exciting because it will receive a brilliant beam from Jupiter, the good fortune planet, from Jupiter's current position in your house of true love. This tells me this month will be about love and commitment for you, which would be lovely. It's also possible that you are about to collaborate on a creative project, too. (Jupiter is in the fifth house, which rules both love and creativity.) Actually, your life these days may be about both possibilities, true love AND exceptional opportunities to show off your artistic talents - for they are not mutually exclusive!

Pluto will chime in too, from his perch in your friendship house, indicating that one of your friends will be instrumental in your luck this month (and beyond) as well. Not to be outdone, Saturn will want to give you his blessings of structure and security from your internationally oriented ninth house. You may get news from overseas that will thrill you. An immigration / citizenship matter, or news from academia, all seem upbeat. If you are in a legal case, or have to bring a suit now, you can do very well if you are sure to start on September 5 or in the days that closely follow that that new moon. You seem to be involved with a publishing or broadcasting project, too, and that will also get a boost from this new moon.

All new moons set in motion a trend that lasts two weeks, but the first days after the new moon appears are always the strongest. This means you would be wise to be ready to work out the details of your arrangement sooner rather than later. You have come a long way, dear Pisces. In past years, you did not have good aspects in terms of partnerships, so you had to overcome quite a lot to get to the place you are now, in September. Now partnerships and marriage offers you so much opportunity. You are in a new world now, and the old world you left bears no resemblance.

If your birthday falls on March 5 plus or minus four days, you will benefit very much from this glorious new moon. You may know the person you want to align with now, or, say, if this new moon will manifest in a business sense, a new person may enter your sphere. You may meet a new agent, publicist, or other expert who can help you in a big way.

If you are not born near March 5 and you have your natal chart, look to see if you have a planet (or your rising sign) at 13 degrees plus or minus five degrees of Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn. If so, you too will benefit.

Pay particular attention to what happens on September 6 and 7, a stellar set of days, when the Sun, in your partnership house, will receive signals from Jupiter from your creative / romantic sector. What a great set of days those two days will be for love and romance, or for thinking up incredibly strong creative ideas. If you have to do a presentation to a client, do so on Friday, September 6, and you will hit a home run.

All month, Mars will remain in Leo, a place Mars moved into on August 27 and will remain until October 15. There is no doubt that you are working very hard, and that you are watching every nano-second of your time, to spend as productively as you can muster. You may feel you are continually running out of time in September, but if so, join the club - September will be very fast moving.

Money has been a concern again for you, and after having a brief, soothing hiatus where money was flowing in, and you had not a cloud in the sky, money is back as your focus. Next month may show you that the firm foundation you built may not be quite as firm as you had hoped. You do have to be careful about spending, as someone may start to depend on you for money or a big expense may crop up out of the blue that you never saw coming. I feel sorry to have to tell you this, and I certainly hope I am wrong. By the time you get finished with next month, October, you will have a glimpse of the state of your finances and can plan accordingly.

Still, September holds a nice, upbeat surprise about your finances that will zing in your window on September 13 or 14. Mars in Leo, will be multiplying your day-to-day assignments and will send a signal to Uranus, planet of surprise, based in your earned income sector. Uranus will likely bring you excellent news about money, again, at a time that you least expect it. See what surfaces on one of these days - and keep your cell phone powered up. This time unexpected news is good news. Indeed, your work life is so busy, and it appears you won't have enough time to send bills to clients!

Yet your first indication that money matters will be volatile may come on the heels of the above-mentioned days (September 13-14) on Sunday, September 15. That's a day to avoid talking about a serious financial topic with any person in your life, from family, friends, clients, your boss - anyone. Uranus will oppose Mercury, and both planets will bring both your financial houses into the discussion, a jarring aspect. I can only imagine that around this weekend, for you, money comes in, and money goes out.

Don't panic, however, because assignments will continue to flow in to you, so you will likely find a lot of work to do, whether you are self-employed, temporarily unemployed, or working for others. Your skills will be in high demand and that realization has to be comforting to know.

Something extremely important to you is about to reach a crest on Thursday, September 19, the full moon in Pisces, 27 degrees. This full moon is unusual in that it does not send messages to other planets in the sky at the time, so its outcome will be totally dependent on what is going on in your natal chart in relation to this full moon. I cannot see your chart from where I sit, so watch and wait. Keep your health strong, as full moons in one's own sign can be exhausting - get enough rest and nutrition.

If your birthday falls on March 17, plus or minus four days, you will feel this full moon the most. If you were not born near that date, and have your natal chart, see if you have a planet within five degrees of 27 degrees Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn. The same advice goes for your rising sign - do you have Pisces rising near 27 degrees? If you have any of these qualifiers in your chart, you will feel this full moon quite directly and I am going to surmise you'll like what happens. A full moon in Pisces can be quite bewitching and romantic, just like you.

In terms of health, you may get good news from your doctor on Friday, September 13 about an exam or test, as Mars in Leo, in your sixth house, will also bring good news quite suddenly, and like so many things this month, this would be good news that you won't see coming.

More good news - Pluto will go direct on September 20 and that means your friends and other contacts will be able to spend more time with you. If friends were preoccupied with work, they will seem less so now (or else they will make seeing you more of a priority)! Your friends can now start to help you with tips, references, and introductions that will help you in a career way that can lead to more earned income for you. Pluto has been retrograde since April 12, so it's been a long time since you've had help like this.

When any outer planet turns to direct speed it always gives a clue of the direction events that are ruled by that planet will take in the future. (Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter are all the "outer planets" that spin on the outer edge of our solar system.) Pay close attention to what occurs on the days that surround the date of any outer planet's turn direct - in this case, it will be Pluto on September 20.

If you are observant within two days of September 20, you will get an idea of how friends will be more helpful to you in the future. You might miss all the clues that Pluto has for you if you aren't paying close attention, so set your alarm on your mobile phone to remind you to notice the emails, meetings, and phone calls you receive within two days, before and after, of September 20. Pluto is connected to global companies and very large funds, so the help a friend gives you might turn out to create a substantial profit to you as events unfold.

Romantically, things could not be better. You now have Jupiter in your fifth house of true love, so you already have the best planet possible to help you find true love, a trend that started in late June, and that will extend all the way to mid-July 2014.

On top of this, Venus will move into Scorpio this month on September 11 and remain until October 7, a perfect place for you to host Venus, for Venus will be in better position to see you have fun, doubly so when traveling. The job Venus always takes on is to amp up your charms to get the spark of love started, and Venus has a great track record on being able to spin her magic.

This phase would be an ideal time to see about buying a few new things for the coming season. Having Venus in a supportive sign is the ideal time to shop for new clothes, for Venus will see to it that you select things that allow you to look very stylish and at your very best. Pisces women may want to try some new makeup and fragrance, too.

Venus will go retrograde on December 21 to January 31, and that will not be a time to shop or to do any radical changes to your looks. You would want the planet of good looks to be strong, so you would not want to schedule plastic surgery during that time or a big change in your hairstyle or color either. You can, of course trim your hair, and see about scheduling routine grooming - there is no need to look like a little ragamuffin when Venus retrogrades!

I once met a pretty lady at the gym who did not recognize me and who was saying to me, "Susan Miller says I can't get a haircut now, so I have to deal with all these split ends." Horrified, I quickly told her I was Susan Miller, and by all means she should have that trim. She looked at me very suspiciously and said, "Sure, you are Susan Miller. Right. And I am the Easter Bunny. Do you think I believe you? Do I look like a moron?" I had to show her my ID and business card to get her to feel good enough about going to the salon! I never meant to convey you could not do nice, normal grooming!

Another day that I would like to point out so you can circle in gold is September 26, when Venus will be in Scorpio and send a message to Jupiter, the planet of gifts and luck, in your house of love, romance, fun, and creativity. What a special day for you! Go to a party, buy tickets to a concert, attend an event, enjoy a romantic dinner, go shopping - do something fun. If you were born on March 8, plus or minus one day, you will get a double dip of pleasure.

In closing, I hope you will try to finish up as much as you can while you are in September, for it will be a very productive month. October, I am sorry to say, may bring emotionally stormy moments and many delays and changes. The first week of October brings some angry aspects, followed by a witch of a new moon in Libra, October 4. After that, we have a not-too-bad full moon lunar eclipse on October 19.

Two days later comes Mercury retrograde October 21 to November 10. A solar eclipse is due November 3. As you see, a lot of changes are coming pell-mell toward us all, so it would not be the time to sign contracts nor to give your verbal consent on any new ventures. (Astrologically a verbal agreement is the same as signing papers - you are making a promise.)

October will be so trying that I would suggest you not launch anything new at that time, and rather, do so in September or else table plans for the end of November. The same timetable holds for buying expensive things, including electronics or machines with moving parts, like a car. You will need to avoid the dates that Mercury is retrograde, but moreover, you will feel the delaying, scrambled effects of this planet a full two weeks before the retrograde starts (as is usual). If you count backward, that would bring you to the first week of October. I would not want you to tangle with any of those days for they will bring some of the wildest astrological weather we've seen in a while.

By all means, if you took an extension out on your taxes, do NOT see your accountant in October! That would be the worst time to go to finish them up! Make that appointment in September!

We study astrology primarily to plan our key actions, so dear Pisces, stick with me and I will help you plan your month. October will take a lot of explaining from me, but I promise, I can help you by either leading you out of the briar patch or helping you avoid entering it in the first place.

Remember, everyone will feel the surprise-a-minute effects of October, so we are all in this together. The message seems to be that it is time to hold hands and help one another.

An event important to you should go exceeding well. You'll be enchanting to all you meet, so circulate in the third week, spread your charm, and present all your ideas. All around it seems you'll have everything going for you.

With Mars in Leo now, you will have a dearth of assignments - if anything you have too many. This is an enviable position to be in, for you will be able pick and choose among those that interest you most, and that yield the most income. You will be busy in September, and near the interplay of Mars and Uranus, September 13-24, you may make surprisingly good money.

Next month will seem like you are riding a bucking bronco - exciting but much too exhausting for most of us. Be smart and get all talks, projects, and ventures sewed up and launched. Pluto will turn direct on September 20, having been retrograde since April 12. This turn of events will have an upbeat effect on your social life. It looks like your calendar will be full from now on.
