This has all the makings of a big month for you. Both your career and home sectors, located at the very top and bottom of your chart, will be brilliantly lit, and these are prime houses of a chart. Let's have a look at the opportunities that you will have this month, because they will be plentiful!

On May 3 you will have a full moon in your house of honors, awards, achievement, and fame, marking an important moment of 2015 for your career. This will be a Sunday, but all full moons have a plus or minus four days of influence, so you may feel this on Friday, May 1, or during the following week May 4 to 7. Neptune will be beautifully supportive, suggesting a creative project you worked on may get accolades. In fact, so enthusiastic will the VIPs be that you may see a bonus or other financial remuneration for work well done.

Neptune rules not only creativity but image, so you may get an interview in the press with a picture or be on TV so that others can hear about your recent victories. It should be a happy moment in your timeline, when a career-related episode comes up and brings closure to something you did or will be approved now to do very soon. A new position, promotion, or plum assignment may now come to you if you've been having talks previously. Any new job would come with considerable responsibility and power.

Your home will be very top of mind too this month. You had Mars zipping through your home and family sector throughout April, and will continue to have Mars energize this area during the first ten days of May. More importantly, you will have a new moon on May 18 in your home and family sector too, and that will open up options for you to consider as well. Yet this full moon is flawed, so you have to be careful about the moves you make in the ten days that follow this full moon.

Ordinarily this would be the perfect time to set home or family-related matters in motion, but Saturn will directly oppose the moon, and the moon rules the domestic condition, indicating a weighty and difficult to solve situation will either come up or need additional focus from you. This new moon is not likely to bring you the best options. Because the new moon rules your family too - most likely your parents, you may have a concern over your mother or father.

I would say you would be best to begin to do your research of all the possible solutions you might consider. Compare estimates of various contractors, and browse your favorite furniture and home furnishing shops. Set up a vision board. If your parent is not be feeling well, you can help your mother or father get second or third doctor's opinions. If the situation is not urgent, do not act yet. I would prefer you swing into action next month with your firmed up plans, but for now keep things fluid. You may change your mind as you go along. Mars was touring this part of your chart in April, so perhaps you got a lot done in regard to home and family matters then, which was a good time to act.

Mercury retrograde is possibly the worst time ever to buy or sell property or to sign contracts, for you would only have to renegotiate them again later - if you still wanted to be in the contract (maybe not)! Do not buy anything for your home unless it is very inexpensive, but save all the receipts in one envelope in case you have to make a return (likely). Do not buy any electronics or appliances, furniture, or a mattress, for if you do, you are not likely to enjoy your purchase for any number of reasons. Shop in the second half of June.

You might say, Mercury will retrograde on May 21, so can't I run out and get a computer laptop now? You can, but we always feel Mercury's slowdowns and problems well in advance. You will start to feel them on May 4, and after Mercury goes direct, Mercury will be lackadaisical until June 27, so I always buy my electronics AFTER the retrograde. If you need to buy an airline ticket, do so immediately, or as early in May as possible. If you buy it during the retrograde, your plans will change, possibly even before you get on the plane, and you will be subject to extra ticket change fees later.

One of the toughest days of the month will be when Saturn opposes the Sun, which is a kind of toe-to-toe meeting between ice and fire on May 22. This will cause a depressing situation in regard to a romantic relationship or in regard to a friend. A secret someone tried to keep from you may come out in the open as well, and you may be quite unhappy about what you hear. This will not be anyone's favorite day. On days like this, you might be better to listen but not react immediately. With Mercury retrograde, too, your judgment may be off, or the information may not be entirely accurate. Do an investigation before you say anything just yet.

Also on or near May 22, someone in authority whose opinion you trust may criticize your work and crush you with his or her words. Don't let words lower your self-esteem. Take what is valuable from the feedback, but don't over-react. You will feel better in a day or two.

The best news ever is that Mars will enter Gemini and your fifth house of true love on May 11 and remain there until June 24. Wow! You've not had high-energy Mars helping you find romance for two years - this is important to note! If you are single and were beginning to think you would never find the right person to love, think again! You are entering a sensational phase when Cupid and his little fleet of angels will be around every corner and every tree. Mars in Gemini will increase your sexiness and magnetism, so if you ever felt invisible, you won't in May and June.

The June 16 new moon next month will be wonderful and set things in motion, so if you feel not enough is happening this month, you will see more in June. A new moon is powerful for two weeks, with the strongest energy at the onset, three days after the new moon arrives, in this case the days following June 16.

As you move away from June 16, the energy of the new moon will get progressively weaker. Here's the important part to consider: the seeds that you plant just after a new moon will set the theme for an entire year, until a new moon in the same house can come back to refresh the energy. When Venus enters Leo and your committed partnership marriage sector, June 5 to July 18, you will have it made. Best of all, you still have Jupiter in your house of marriage until August 11 for the first time since mid-2003 to mid-2004. Clearly, in May and even more so in June, when it comes to love, you have EVERYTHING going for you!

There is one more thing you need to know, dear Aquarius. Socialize now while all conditions are perfect for you to find love, or to fan the fires of an existing relationship. Venus, the planet of love and affection, will go retrograde from July 25 to September 6.

That period won't be the time to meet anyone new, or to act on any plans to change your look dramatically. (Venus is, after all, the planet of attractiveness.) You should not plan to change your hair radically at that time, or if you are a man, to shave your beard or grow one. Keep your looks the same until Venus is out of retrograde. You can do regular grooming and trims to your hair - here I am suggesting you only not make dramatic changes.

If you are single and meet someone new during Venus retrograde, you may find that warmth and affection lacking. Any planet when retrograde withholds some of its sweetest powers. It would not be the time to get engaged - wait until later, or do so now, in your glorious months of May and June.

A brilliant full moon at the start of the month will light your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement during the first week of May, and call attention to all the most important work you've been doing over the past twelve months. More money appears to be heading your way, too, and if the work were in the creative sphere, the pay would be especially generous. VIPs behind the scenes who are not ready to reveal their identity to you have apparently noticed your fine performance and are quietly thinking of ways to harness your considerable talents. You may crystalize an offer during May's first week, or it may come later, but either way, your star is on the rise.

Your home life is about to get attention too, thanks to the movement of Mars through your private home sector, a trend that started last month and will continue through May 11. Then the new moon, May 18, will take up the slack and push home and family-related goals forward again. This time may turn your gaze to a project that was started, put aside, and now needs to be continued. Mercury will go retrograde from May 18 to June 11, suggesting that you can now tie up loose ends. The new moon will set things in motion on May 18, giving you the time and energy to devote to the project, but with Saturn hovering in opposition, the project will be strenuous. If you are negotiating the buying or selling of a house, you will find talks difficult. You'd be much better off tabling talks to the second half of June for your most important actions.

A rare romantic aspect will be coming in too, starting May 12 and continuing through June 24, thanks to Mars' brightening of your romantic sector for the first time in two years. Additionally, Venus will be moving through Gemini - your sweet spot - making May 1 to 7 your best time to go shopping for new, beautifully flattering things to wear. You will want to look your best as you leave the house to the dance the night away.

Your home has taken much thinking for weeks, and that trend continues May 1 to 10. This year was to be your big year for improving your home, but you must tie off all loose ends by August 11, the date Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, will leave your home sector. Jupiter will not to be back to the same sign and house of your horoscope until 2025.

The new moon of May 18 will also light your home sector for the first and only time this year. Saturn will oppose that moon, so you will have to either work very hard to get things "just so" or overcome an obstacle to home-related goals with your contractor / broker.

May 22 brings an opposition of the Sun and Saturn, and it cuts across your fifth and eleventh houses. These are houses of fun, but this aspect will have a depressing dampening effect. Not a day to have a big talk with your sweetheart / spouse.
