February will be great month for you with so much progress and plenty of time for fun, too! Much of the time you will be thinking about money. Let's first take a look at the full moon of February 3, in Leo, sure to be laden with news that a generous amount of cash will be heading your way. News will be completely unexpected, as Uranus will be active at this full moon, but no fears, all news will be welcome news. The best aspect to this full moon will be the full moon's conjunction to Jupiter, the planet known as the giver of good fortune, almost ensuring that the money coming to you will be a generous sum. Allow a plus or minus four days to the full moon's appearance on February 3 to hear news about your finances.
Actually, the entire month appears to find you focused intently on money. The new moon of February 18 will be in Aquarius, putting quite a bit of emphasis on your eighth house of other people's money. You may be discussing a commission, bonus, perks like vacation days and health care for a new position, an inheritance, insurance payout, scholarship or college financial aid, a mortgage, or refinancing plan, or you may be getting ready to present a plan for a venture capital investor. You may also be very intent on getting your taxes ready for your accountant. While you may say everyone is working on taxes in February, I say, not with the intensity you will be, dear Cancer - you seem to be thinking about money quite a bit this month, much more than the other signs, with the exception of Capricorn. To get to a final resolve, you may need to be patient, as it looks as though the paperwork will take time to process, and if you are making an application, to hear back as to whether you have been approved or not. Here's why.
The February 18 new moon will open a new financial path for weeks and months to come. Saturn will be in hard angle to that new moon. Saturn's presence suggests red tape will hold things up. Also Neptune will be positioned close to that new moon too, and that means that something about the paperwork is likely to be foggy or unclear, and so if it is in the hands of the courts, say with an inheritance, things may take quite a bit of time to sort out. If it's an application for financial aid or trying to buy a house, you may have to add more backup evidence to support your numbers. Do not be exasperated at this news - a fair result will eventually occur, but you will have to allow more time for closure than you probably think would be necessary.
Mercury will continue to retrograde in your eighth house of other people's money too, as it is in Aquarius, but happily, this situation will change on February 11 when Mercury will go direct. You should be able to get faster answers after this date. Do all you can to avoid signing on or before February 11, and actually, I would prefer you give a few extra days beyond this date.
That new moon in Aquarius is an unusual one, in that it will fall at 29 degrees 59 minutes, just one little minute away from Pisces. I have never seen a new moon like this one - it is truly on the cusp of two signs. This means your house of long-distance travel will also be activated now, February 18, and again next month, on the solar eclipse March 20. You may be planning a very long trip, and if so, it's the right time to do so.
As you begin February, Mars will be energizing your long-distance travel sector, so it's very possible you will be on the road in February, or will be soon. Also favored for you will be any efforts you make to attain entry into a university for an advanced degree, or focus your attention on legal matters. You also will get opportunities to work on publishing or broadcasting assignments that seem quite interesting and lucrative. All these areas are glittering for you and would be worth examining if you are given an intriguing opportunity.
On February 20, Mars will enter your career sector, and that will mark a big change for you. Rarely have you focused on your career in the way you will in the last third of February, and doors will begin to open for you. This is a trend that will continue through March. Mars will make you courageous and daring, so you will be much more likely to be assertive about getting a more responsible, powerful, high-level job. You have not hosted Mars in this house for two years, and Mars' new appearance in this house suggests you are starting an important two-year cycle for your career as of February 20, through March.
Along with Mars, Venus will also be entering your tenth house of prestigious career advancement, and that tells me you will be the darling of VIPs as you go through the interview process, or if you are starting work at a new position, you can be sure you will be popular with subordinates and higher ups alike, an enviable situation to be in.
Keep your eye on events at the office, as you get closer to a rare conjunction of Venus and Mars on February 22. That's a Sunday, so the two weekdays may be important for you too, February 20 and February 23. Those days should be exceptional.
Before you get to February 20-23, you have another sweet day for scheduling a presentation or interview - February 2, when the Sun and Uranus will have a conversation on your behalf. This is a day when money and your reputation come together to produce outstanding results!
In terms of love, you will do best in the first three weeks prior to February 19, when Venus and Mars are both in divinely compatible Pisces. As I hinted at previously, travel seems to draw you together into a tighter bond, so if you'd like to give your relationship a jumpstart, that would be the way to do it.
I particularly love the conjunction of Venus and Neptune on February 1, quite a glamorous aspect, and both will be in Pisces.

It's a nice enough day, and with the emphasis on Capricorn, the sign representing your partner, you may want to sit back and let your significant other draw up all the details. He or she may have a few surprises for you, so enjoy the day for lovers, dear Cancer.

With Venus about to tour your career sector, too, starting February 20, you will be the darling of higher ups. It would be hard to imagine a more perfect picture for professional advancement. Start looking at any and all possibilities for a new position, dear Cancer - nothing will happen without your involvement. Last month, Mercury began to retrograde on January 21 in one of your two financial houses, so you may have been frustrated with inaccuracies on a credit card or bank statement, a check that will be delayed - possibly from a client or ex-spouse - or you may need to appeal to an insurance company that has dug in their heels concerning a payout. Or it may have been (and is still frustrating you) that red tape has caused you to have to wait and wait for answers. These are examples, but you get the idea. After Mercury goes direct on February 11, things should start to clear up and move at a faster pace.
Travel will be a big possibility in February or March, and you may be planning a distant trip now or go on one now. If you go, you may have a work-related goal to complete, and with Saturn within range of Neptune, progress may be slow, making your work feel either arduous or in need of a lot of patience, as clients may need extra time to weigh what they want to do. To make things go better, be sure to do your homework and be thoroughly briefed on the history of the client relationship before you go. If your facts and figures are not accurate, your chances of meeting your goal will be reduced. Your outcome will come down to how far you can go to do a detailed preparation.
