You have one amazingly positive month coming up, dear Aquarius. So much of the action will be centered in your third house of travel, so it looks like you may get a chance to pack your bags and head out of town, if only for a weekend. Four heavenly bodies will fill this house, all in Aries - the Sun, new moon of April 7, Venus, and Uranus. Aries is the pioneering, athletic, and competitive sign, so you may want to go hiking, mountain climbing, or biking, or complete a half marathon on a short trip away.

Follow safety instructions - wear your helmet if biking, and don't overdo if you are running. Uranus, the planet of all things unexpected, will be conjunct the moon, making you more energized and impulsive than usual. Fire-sign Aries blends well with your air-sign element, so you should find most of the events of this new moon friendly. Still, try not to be too impulsive - you may jump in with both feet without looking first at all the ramifications that might come to bite you on some level. Take your time.

Your third house, which rules short travel, rules other things as well. It rules all written communication and speaking engagements, so you may get a call to write a story for a magazine, or to be interviewed on TV or radio. You might be given a contract, and due the volatility of Uranus, you should first give the paperwork to your lawyer and have her make corrections before signing. Uranus is your ruler and will be very active at this new moon, and at other times too. With your ruler in the spotlight, you will be moving on all cylinders. Uranus will coax you to rush (or the people you are dealing with may be tapping their toes, pressuring you to hurry up), but doing anything fast would not a good idea. Having said that, I need you to make up your mind on all matters, not only contracts, before you get to April 17, and later I will explain why.

If you received the contract last month, and your lawyer says you are ready to go, then sign on April 5, when Saturn and the Sun will create a long-term, stable relationship. Otherwise, I would like you to sign on April 14, when Mercury and Jupiter will be at perfect angles, creating awesome opportunities for profit.

Early April would be perfect for ordering new business or personal stationery, for drawing up a publicity or advertising campaign for your business, or for submitting a manuscript for publication. New moons open new paths, so you might want to look for speaking engagements to share your expertise, or serve on a panel in a trade show. If you have an idea for a new app, hire IT now, in the first week - again, I like April 5, 12, or 14, but no later.

Your sibling may capture your attention this month too. You may hear exciting and unexpected family news about your sister or brother, or you and your sibling may be thinking of opening a business together or jointly buying property.

I mentioned I would like you to finish up key decisions and announcements by April 17. That is the day that Mars goes retrograde. Because Mars is the planet of energy, courage, determination, and drive, when Mars is retrograde, you lose your competitive edge. It's not a good idea to launch anything while Mars is out of phase, from April 17 to June 29. Even after Mars goes direct at June's end, he will still be dragging his little features, needing multiple cups of coffee to get going again - it will take him until August 22 to be back in fine shape.

On top of this, Mars' brother, Mercury, will be retrograde too, from April 28 to May 22, and then again later in the year, August 28 to September 22. If you need to buy an electronic product, such as an iPad or other tablet, new smart phone, computer, Dr. Dre headphones, or for your kitchen, a new stove or refrigerator, washer-dryer, or other appliance, buy it early in the month, or wait until July. Do not buy a car with Mars retrograde, as you will find that, like the other items, your purchase will not please you in the way you anticipate it will. Something is always wrong, because Mercury rules electronics, and Mars rules anything made of iron or steel.

Mars also rules sharp instruments, including the surgeon's scalpel, which is why surgery scheduled while Mars is retrograde is not advised. Some surgery is not urgent, so if that applies to you (including dental surgery or cosmetic plastic surgery), then wait until July or August. If you need the surgery very urgently or in an emergency, by all means have it. If you believe in your doctor, you will do fine.

Don't put things off until next month either, for in May we will have five out of eight planets retrograde for at least part of the month: Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto. That means the universe wants us to take time to review what we have already achieved in our work and personal lives, to see if any adjustments are indicated. Going back in time to analyze what we have done is useful - otherwise, if we don't see self-defeating patterns (if any), we are doomed to unconsciously repeat them. The upside is that you will likely re-contact several friends, former colleagues, and contacts from your past in coming weeks, for Mars will retrograde in your eleventh house of people and friends you know and enjoy.

One day you should plan on socializing while out will be April 12, when Mars, now in your friendship house, will reach out to Venus in Aries in your short distance travel house. Plan to get friends together in a restaurant for a grand dinner together, or, if you need to travel for business, plan on seeing a friend who lives in the city you are visiting for a fun dinner out and time to catch up.

If you are looking for true love, April 12 is ideal, for when Venus and Mars are together, good chemistry tends to bubble up. After all, the entire job of Venus and Mars, when together, is to summon Cupid and his little fleet of angels to bring exciting love to you. If you want lasting love (not just a one-night experience), this day is for you.

If you are in sales, concentrate on former clients, not new ones, because the emphasis will be on the past. As they say, 80 percent of your sales will come from 20 percent of your list, so why not spend special time on the clients who always trusted you and enjoyed working with you? Take a client to lunch, and catch up.

Do you need to move house or buy a new condo? If you want to purchase property, you can get an attractive mortgage with excellent terms on April 14, when Mercury (agreements) receives golden beams from Jupiter. If you need to fix up your present house or apartment, you can get good news from your bank about a home improvement loan. If you want to sell your property, whether it is an apartment or things you own in the apartment (as an example), you can do so on this day and see a nice profit. Whenever good fortune Jupiter is involved, good money cannot be far behind!

Your career is about to bring VERY good news at the full moon, April 21, plus or minus four days. This full moon will light your tenth house of fame and honors, so you could be getting a promotion, or you may be getting an offer from a competitive firm. The only planet that will signal this new moon will be Neptune, and will do it in a heavenly, lyrical way. I feel you may sell a creative idea and be given the green light to begin a major creative project, or you may be lauded for a project you are finishing by these days (April 21-23). I say that the topic on the table will be a creative one in the arts or even in high tech because Neptune will be very prominent and supportive. Neptune rules music composition, art, theatre, dance, plays, costume design, and makeup - all things that are highly imaginative and artistic. Neptune is positioned in your second house of earned income these days, so it's clear that your income is likely to go up as a result of what happens on this key full moon. It is the most important full moon of all of 2016 for your career, and so very positive, dear Aquarius!

You will be very busy the moment the month begins, and although some people will have a hard time with the new moon in Aries, April 7 and the days that follow, due to the surprise planet, Uranus, conjunct to the Sun, you will be doing just fine. Fire-sign Aries gets along fine with your air-sign element, Aquarius. Also Uranus is your ruling planet so you are comfortable with the volatility of this planet, and often find the changes it brings exciting. It appears that you will be traveling spontaneously, perhaps to work on a humanitarian, community, or charity event, or for personal reasons, to see friends or your sibling. Mars, the ruler of your third house, which will be so brilliantly lit, will be in your eleventh house of groups, the reason you may be involved in a project to help those in society who have suffered and been overlooked, and are in need attention and funding.

Mars will spend an inordinate amount of time in this house of friendship and charitable and humanitarian events and groups, for Mars will stay not the typical seven weeks in one sign, but nearly seven months, until September 27. (Mars' entered Sagittarius last month on March 5, so you may have already seen some activity in this realm of your life.) Don't expect things to go forward quickly or straightforwardly. Mars will retrograde from April 17 to June 29, and be in weak orbit throughout July and August. This means the team may have conflicting opinions, or a client will keep changing his or her mind. Remain flexible.

Mercury will retrograde too, from April 28 to May 22, adding to the possibility that miscommunications or mix-ups may be rampant. Next month, May will be a difficult month to get anything decided and acted on because five out of eight planets (including Pluto) will be out of phase for at least part of the month. Expect delays and indecision from influential people who need to give you direction. You may start now to redo things - retrograde periods require going over old ground to make projects and relationships stronger.

The weekend of April 12-13 would be ideal for a quick trip, when the Sun aligns with Uranus. Be carefree and enjoy being in a new setting. This same weekend might bring an unexpected, positive message.
