簡介：若說我對台灣電音的啟蒙是蕭亞軒的「表白」、對後式搖滾的啟蒙是 Engima 的 "Return to innocence"，那麼這首歌，相當於是找回根本、源頭的曲子吧。若有幸能加入點南洋語系的靈感、跟精進些讀唇語的能力就好了 :]

10.回到原點 Back to The Roots
「回到原點」是整張專輯的核心，也是整張專輯最重要、我最喜歡的一首歌。全曲都用一把木吉他來表達。這首歌的意思是想表達，我在經歷了這麼多，不管是演出，或者是工作之後，希望可以找回最當初的熱忱，以及當初做音樂的自己。所以我寫下「回到原點」這首歌，那裡面有說出了很多我的一些想法、希望、無奈，算是寫給我自己的一首歌，希望大家會喜歡。

*1: 最後一句使用帶有期待、從今至未來的文型。不確定當時是通話中（vuvu 還在世）亦或電話裡播放的是語音。
*2: 這句歌詞不在主歌前的語音裡，所以假定是歌手的自問自答。
*3: 這兩句歌詞，理解為勉強自己接受「昨日種種昨日死，來者可追向前行」的意思。將較負面的「銷毀」轉化為較中性、靈性的「校正歸零」。

今天才發現，新專輯的同名曲，在九月初的首播。 首播後隔日的我，恰好開始換部門的討論/會議。這版本的歌詞，是Matzka 寫的。 感覺是呼應、對仗，也有他自己人生觀在裡面？頗需咀嚼，作為潤飾英文歌詞的參考 :]
