ESPN national baseball reporter Marly Rivera has been fired after an incident at
 Yankee Stadium in which she uttered the words, “f–king c–t” toward a fellow
 female reporter over an Aaron Judge interview, The Post has learned.

The incident occurred last Tuesday at Yankee Stadium.

事件是發生在美國時間上週二的洋基球場


Before the Yankees-Angels game, Rivera and fellow reporter Ivón Gaete had a dis
agreement when Gaete arrived in an attempt to also interview Judge.

Rivera said she set up time with the Yankee captain and when she repeatedly trie
d to tell Gaete of the appointment, Gaete ignored it.

但Marly Rivera說她已經先和法官約好了

這時間是她的訪問時間，但對此Ivón Gaete無視


During the heat of the disagreement, Rivera said the words, “f–king c–t,” wh
ich were caught on video.

所以Marly Rivera就開罵，並且有被影片拍到


After the recording of the incident, Rivera tried to apologize, but was rebuffed
 by Gaete.

事後Marly Rivera試圖道歉，但Ivón Gaete不接受

然後就被ESPN開除惹


Gaete is the wife of MLB vice president of communications, John Blundell.

Ivón Gaete老公是大聯盟官員John Blundell


Gaete, a freelance reporter, was on assignment for Tokyo Broadcasting, with Shoh
ei Ohtani in town.

Gaete本身是自由記者，當時是被日本TBS派去訪問的


Rivera said that she and Blundell have had disagreements over the years, which,
in her view, is why this incident blew up and resulted in her firing.

Rivera表示她和Gaete多年來一直存在分歧


Rivera had been with ESPN for 13 years, covering MLB — with an emphasis on the
Yankees — and worked for both the English language platforms as a writer and on
-air personality and for ESPN Deportes.

Rivera就這樣結束在ESPN的13年生涯


話說ESPN最近在大裁員
