故事要從一周前講起，

An affair between a married woman and her former lover led to an entire
Argentinian town going into quarantine to prevent the spread of the
coronavirus.

Selva, a municipality of about 2,500 residents, is on lockdown and appears to
be a ghost town during parts of the day, the Argentine newspaper Clarín
reported on Tuesday. This began just a few days ago—with all restaurants,
bars and shopping centers shuttered—after a 27-year-old man returned to the
town after sleeping with a former lover.

The unidentified woman had returned to her home in the Argentinian city of Có
rdoba after a trip to Spain just over a week ago. She'd had a relationship
with the man from Selva when she was younger, and she invited him to meet her
to reconnect.

During their encounter, she told him about her trip to Spain and even said
she'd had symptoms of the coronavirus. Nonetheless, the former lovers had sex
and then went their separate ways. The man returned to his town and was
welcomed back by about 20 friends at a party.

As he drank and ate with the group, he told them about his encounter with his
former lover in Córdoba. They were shocked and upset when he mentioned that
she had been infected with coronavirus. Some of the friends then informed the
authorities, which moved quickly to isolate the man and quarantine the town.
The woman in Córdoba was quickly identified by local authorities in her city
and placed in quarantine, as was her husband.

On Saturday afternoon, Selva Governor Gerardo Zamora ordered his entire town
to quarantine as an "extreme measure" to prevent the spread of the virus. "We
have just declared the entire town of Selva in quarantine," he said, noting
that residents were not allowed to leave, while those outside were not
allowed to enter, Clarín reported. He told all residents to remain within
their homes.

Argentina has relatively few confirmed cases of the coronavirus. According to
a John Hopkins University tracker, there are 79 confirmed cases in the South
American country. Two people have died, while three others have recovered.

Globally, more than 200,000 people have been confirmed to be infected, while
more than 82,000 have already recovered from the virus. Reported deaths now
total more than 8,200, with China, Italy, Iran and Spain having the highest
numbers of confirmed infections.
