Jeff Teague wasn't feeling what Zion Williamson had to say at his press
conference.

Zion: "The Pelicans embraced me and I told them I wasn't going to let them
down. If they believed in me that much, it helped a lot that they really
believed in me.

Zion：「鵜鶘隊接納了我，我告訴他們我不會讓他們失望。他們對我如此信任，這對我

幫助很大，因為他們是真心相信我。」


Jeff: "Man, cut this sh** off"

Jeff：「老哥，拜託把這段屁話切掉。」


Zion: "They're going to hold me accountable. Accountability and
responsibilities. We came up with a plan and from boxing to working out on
the football field. To just different random workouts. During that time frame
last year, I really felt a shift in my body, to where I would say it feels
good to feel good. I haven't felt like this since college and high school."

Zion：「他們會讓我負起責任，責任感與自我要求。我們制定了一套計畫，從拳擊到在足

球場上訓練再到各種不同的隨機鍛鍊。在去年那段時間裡，我確實感覺到身體的轉變，讓

我不得不說，能感覺健康真是太好了，這是我從大學和高中以來首次有這樣的感受。」


Jeff: "This is probably the dumbest press conference I've heard in my life.
All of this is because of you. You choose to eat, be out of shape, all that.
Now, all of a sudden, it's a contract year or looking for an extension. All
of a sudden, he's in shape, and he said they believe in me. Fool, they gave
you a max deal. They've been believing in you. They had to put a lot of
options in his contract because you didn't believe in you. That's dumb as
hell, that press conference he's doing."

"They embraced you when you first got there. What are you talking about? You
were the one who was out of shape. You finally decided to lock in and do what
pro athletes do. Take care of themselves. Hell no, I'm off that, I ain't a
fan no more. You get paid damn near $40 million a year to be in shape. I
ain't trying to sound like an old head. It's just like you do a press
conference and say, I feel the best I ever felt since college. You chose to
feel that way. You could have been like this for three years. Cmon, bro, you
were the one damn near 300 pounds."

Jeff：「這恐怕是我聽過最愚蠢的記者會，這一切不都是因為你自己造成的嗎？是你自己

選擇亂吃、選擇放任體型身材走樣。現在突然到了合約年或者想要談延長合約，你就突然

狀態很好、身材恢復了，還說什麼『因為球隊相信我』。老哥他們早就給你一份頂薪了，

他們一直都相信你，他們必須在你的合約裡加了一堆條款，就是因為你自己都不相信自己

，他這場記者會簡直蠢到家了。


「當你剛到鵜鶘時他們就已經張開雙臂歡迎你。你到底在說什麼？你才是那個身材走樣的

人。現在你終於決定認真去做一個職業運動員該做的事—好好照顧自己的身體。我實在聽

不下去也完全不買單，我也不再是你的球迷了。你一年領接近4000萬美金就是要保持身材

、維持狀態。我不是想擺老但你這個記者會說什麼『我現在感覺比大學時還好』。這都是

你自己的選擇的結果，你明明過去三年都可以保持這樣做到。拜託喔兄弟，你之前體重都

快飆到300磅了。」
