アインスとは、ドイツ語の数詞の「1」。

ドイツ語で「一番」「最上級」を意味する。綴りは「eins」。

ちなみにeinsを「アインス」と発音するのは半分正解だが半分は間違いである。

というのも、発音規則上は確かに「アインス」という発音でいいのだが、実際にドイツ語を話す人々（ドイツ人等）が口に出して言っているときはnとsが連続している関係上「アインツ」のように発音することが多いのである。

創作上は「アインス」で何の問題もないが、それがドイツ語を話す国々で実際に通じるかどうかは別の問題だということは覚えておこう。
