Thirteen years ago, Andre Geim took British citizenship to accept a knighthood. He has just learned he can no longer be a citizen of the Netherlands as a result.

For years, Andre Geim was known to the world as a Nobel Prize-winning Dutch physicist, which suited both him and the Dutch just fine. He is still a Nobel Prize-winning physicist, but now, according to the government of the Netherlands, he is no longer Dutch.

He is, he said in a show of considerable understatement, “extremely annoyed.”

Thirteen years ago, Mr. Geim took British citizenship to accept a knighthood, and until recently he had no inkling that it would cause a problem. He said he was informed that he was no longer a Dutch citizen and must hand his passport over at the embassy in London or face consequences from Interpol, because the Netherlands sharply restricts dual citizenship.

苗栗縣私立建臺高中大學分科測驗學生集體報錯名事件，縣府將輔導受影響23名考生提供選填志願，立委(苗栗闌尾)持續要求教育部、國教署，針對這起事件進行制度性檢討。

苗栗縣私立建臺高中大學分科測驗學生集體報錯名事件，似乎難以轉圜，縣府今天下午懇請相關單位伸出援手外，並表示將輔導受影響23名考生提供選填志願，立委(苗栗藍委)認為這是目前最實質、最具體的補償行動。

大學分科測驗7月11日、12日登場，昨天卻爆出建臺高中大學分科測驗學生集體報錯名，23名學生受影響，教育部、大考中心考量顧及其他3.9萬名考生公平性，仍然需依照簡章規定辦理，苗栗縣政府今天下午懇請相關單位伸出援手，協助學生取得應有的考試權益。

今天是前總統李登輝逝世5週年，數位李登輝特展上午開幕，參觀者可以透過生成式AI與「數位李登輝」對話。李登輝基金會董事長李安妮說，特展讓懷念李登輝的人與他溫暖重逢，讓不了解李登輝的人走入他的世界，傳承民主精神；民主社會不只需要記憶，更需要理解與對話。

財團法人資訊工業策進會數位轉型研究院攜手國史館與李登輝基金會，共同在國立台灣圖書館推出「PROTOTYPE：民主先生2.0 數位李登輝特展」，展期長達2年。

前總統蔡英文、前副總統陳建仁、前立法院長王金平、教育部長鄭英耀、日本台灣交流協會代表片山和之、資策會董事長黃仲銘、國史館長陳儀深、黃昆輝教育基金會董事長黃昆輝、李安妮等人出席開幕儀式。

李安妮致詞表示，數位李登輝特展不僅是AI展現，更是民主精神傳承，運用科技不只是懷舊或是保存，是重構記憶、重新思考，提供未來更多想像。相信民主社會不僅要記憶，更要理解與對話，而AI正好提供這樣的橋梁。

針對特展的特色，李安妮說，特展讓知識不再只是書頁上的文字，而是可以傾聽、回答，是一個活的傳承，特展除了在李登輝的AI語意上堅持民主與台灣主體性的倫理框架，同時「不准AI李登輝一本正經胡說八道」。有別於一般展覽以中、英文為主，考量日本社會與李登輝的深厚情誼，因此特展的語言是中、日文對照，深化台日兩國理解。

李安妮表示，此次籌辦數位李登輝特展，發現日語語言庫經過日本政府的努力，非常豐富，但是台語的部分仍有待努力，若以台語詢問數位李登輝，需要仔細詢問，不然數位李登輝會回答「我都聽不懂」。

李安妮指出，希望AI不只是對過去的重現，更是對未來的邀請，讓懷念李登輝的人能與他溫暖重逢，讓不了解李登輝的人走入他的世界。如果對話能讓人得到啟發與省思，也能凝聚更大的社會共識，可思考建立一座實體的場館，作為未來世代瞭解李登輝，學習治理哲學、深化民主價值的基地。

黃仲銘致詞時表示，李登輝的思想深具歷史厚度，資策會抱持高度審慎的態度，運用生成式AI技術，深度學習李登輝的政策觀點與決策邏輯，並以「聲音復刻」技術重現李登輝獨特的聲音與語調，讓世人再次「聽見」他的話語和歌聲。

克里斯多福諾蘭（Christopher Nolan）的新作《奧德賽》（The Odyssey）正在如火如荼的拍攝當中，過往總是追求真實場景拍攝的諾蘭，這次選擇的地點卻意外的出現了關於政治的紛爭與討論。

劇組最近在達赫拉市（Dakhla）進行了為期四天的拍攝行程，達赫拉是位於西撒哈拉境內的城市，達赫拉 - 黃金谷地大區的首都，但同時也是一個爭議區域，目前被聯合國列為「非自治領土」。作為撒哈拉原住民的家園，西撒哈拉是最後一個獨立的非洲殖民國家，不過摩洛哥至今仍聲稱對其大部分土地擁有控制權。然而，摩洛哥近期提出一項計劃，即給予西撒哈拉自治權，但摩洛哥擁有最終主權，此項提議受到了美國、英國與法國的支持，去年獲得了近一步的推動。

就在上週，在該地區拍攝結束後，西撒哈拉國際電影節（FiSahara）發表聲明，希望諾蘭停止製作，「達赫拉不僅僅是一個擁有電影沙丘的美麗地方，它同時也是一座被佔領和軍事化的城市，其原住民撒哈拉人正遭受摩洛哥佔領軍的殘酷鎮壓。」電影節的聲明表示，並補充說，該劇組應該「停止在達赫拉的拍攝，聲援那些被軍事佔領了 50 年、因爭取自決的和平鬥爭而經常遭受監禁和折磨的撒哈拉人民。」

「諾蘭團隊在達赫拉的拍攝，可能在不知不覺中助長了摩洛哥對撒哈拉人民的壓迫，也助長了摩洛哥政權試圖使其對西撒哈拉的佔領正常化。」影展總監瑪麗亞柯利昂（María Carrión）補充說。

曾經參加過該電影節的好萊塢影星哈維爾巴登（Javier Bardem）也在自己的社群分享了該聲明並且做出回應，「過去 50 年來，摩洛哥一直佔領著西撒哈拉，將撒哈拉人民驅逐出他們的城市，達赫拉就是其中之一。摩洛哥佔領者將其改造成旅遊勝地，如今又將其作為電影拍攝地，其目的始終是抹去這座城市的撒哈拉身份認同。」

The Sahrawis, or Sahrawi people (Arabic: صحراويون ṣaḥrāwīyūn), are an ethnic group native to the western part of the Sahara desert, which includes the Western Sahara, southern Morocco, much of Mauritania, and along the southwestern border of Algeria. They are of mixed Hassani Arab and Sanhaji Berber descent, as well as West African and other indigenous populations.

The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), also known as the Sahrawi Republic and Western Sahara, is a partially recognized state in the western Maghreb, which claims the non-self-governing territory of Western Sahara, but controls only the easternmost one-fifth of that territory. It is recognized by 44 UN member states and South Ossetia. Between 1884 and 1975, Western Sahara was known as Spanish Sahara, a Spanish colony (later an overseas province). The SADR is one of the two African states in which Spanish is a significant language, the other being Equatorial Guinea.

In the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda, almost one million people were killed within 100 days. Mostly massacred with machetes. Incited by war propaganda from politicians and the media. In this road movie with interactive junctions, we embark on a journey through the Rwanda of today following the footsteps of a former minister and convicted war criminal who studied in Switzerland. The Investigative research is driven by the questions: What is he responsible for? What significance does his education in Switzerland have in relation to what happened in Rwanda? How does the next generation deal with these crimes? At sites where atrocities are commemorated today, survivors of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi tell their stories. They show how perpetrators and victims found a way to continue living together in the same country. The interaction allows the audience to decide for themselves, based on different story lines, how intensively they want to deal with the horror and the universal questions of guilt and responsibility.
