我能想到的，柯文哲的目的可能有兩個。





還有兩處細節值得指出：





Mr. Ko mentioned the tables to Mr. Gutmann, which he claimed to be used to reg
ister the organ sources. Mr. Ko said that he recommended China to use this tab
les and China refused. The “tables” was a deliberately understated descripti
on of the exact thing he really recommended to China. Only with tables, no one
 can manage the organ transplantation practice all around whole China. It is a
 management information system. MIS. When you ask your peer to use a MIS devel
oped by you in his business, you are literally asking them to give you two thi
ngs:

1. All Data
2. All operations on the Data

Data are for describing all entities in the context, e.g. hospitals, doctors,
organ providers, organ receivers. Operations are for describing all actions ta
ken by the entities or applied to the entities.

In any business, when you get this information, you hold the whole business, f
rom the macro perspective to the minor details, in your very hands. In organ t
ransplantation field, when you raised this proposal to China government, you j
ust wielded a dagger and put the functional point to your partner’s throat, a
nd began talking about business. Were a guy is out of the circle, he could hav
e risked his life for raising this proposal. So what are the possible purposes
 of Mr. Ko? Let me analyze what is NOT his purposes in the first place.

His purposes must not be to clarify the organ sources are not from Falun Gong
practitioners. Because no later than 2006, Mr Ko has known that the Falun Gong
 practitioners’ organs are harvested. In 2008, he still taught 23 organ harve
sting suspects the usage of ECMO. So clarifying the organ sources is not the p
urpose.

There are two possible purposes:

1. He may really want China to use this MIS. If it is real, we could say the f
irst, Mr. Ko is very bold, the second, Mr. Ko deeply involved into the organ h
arvesting business, the third, he has the key stake to bargain. But I don’t t
hink he really wanted China to do so. China will never all the key part of the
 business, the brain of the business in others’ hands. Mr. Ko is smart enough
 to get it.

2. Mr. Ko raised a must-get-refused proposal. Maybe he wanted to urge China to
 clarify the organ sources, or, he was paving the path to withdraw and defend
himself. No matter what is his original motive, he then knew that China would
refuse it. And the refusal means that Mr. Ko knew he was involving a possible
crime which violated the fundamental medical ethics. So paving the path to def
end himself could have been the prime motive.

There are two details worthy of investigation:

1. Mr. Ko deliberately mentioned the MIS as “tables”. Mr. Ko knows that Mr.
Gutmann is very smart but less sensitive to the role of information technology
 in a business. He conveyed his interpretation, “clarifying the organ sources
” to Mr. Gutmann, hoping Mr. Gutmann convey this interpretation to the public
 Mr. Ko succeeded.

2. As for Mr. Ko’s proposal, who got it in the first place? To whom he report
ed? Who denied this proposal at last? It is the department-level officials who
 are responsible for the nation-level MIS. As for the organ harvesting, which
is the darkest corner in China, I guess this decision coming from the top leve
l. It means, they know the very purpose of Mr. Ko. Mr. Ko was telling them, he
y, I am not an idiot, I am paving the path for defending myself, Although I am
 doing business with you, you can not treat me as you want. And the more impor
tant thing is the response from the top. They tolerated Mr. Ko’s crudeness. I
t means Mr. Ko is so important to China that he even could wage his bargaining
 chip to China.
