◥ 性別 ◤
印度語名詞，有分『陰陽性』， 陰性或陽性並沒有一定的規則可循，但以 आ 結尾的名詞，多為陽性，以 ई 或 इ 結尾的名詞，多為陰性。若某名詞生物上即可分辨其性別，如哥哥、妹妹，則其陰陽性是以生物性別判斷。
