You are not a materialistic soul, but this month you will be almost obsessed about how to increase your income. Your timing is ideal for focusing in on financial matters, too, dear Gemini, and you won't have just one reason to expect luck in this area, but several. Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, has just entered Cancer and your second house of earned income, heralding a hugely important financial reward time for you, the best you've seen in twelve years.
Actually, this coming twelve months should be better than back then, the period of mid-2001 to mid-2002. Back then Saturn was in your sign, Gemini, and that meant you were under this taskmaster's challenges. Also you had Pluto standing across the skies in Sagittarius, aiming his direct gaze at you, another rare aspect. Either one of these aspects taken alone would have been more than enough to cope with, but you had both at once. To say you are about to enter a glorious time now, one that will be far better than the one back in the years stated twelve years ago, is an understatement.
You are now in the second phase of Jupiter's cycle, and that means the seeds that you planted during June 11, 2012 to June 25, 2013 will begin now to bear abundant fruit for you. While not all the seeds you sowed will grow tall, it appears you will be thrilled with your crop. Your payoff period extends from June 25, 2013 to next year, up to July 16, 2014.
Jupiter is the planet of good fortune, and he acts like miracle plant food to make things grow fantastically large, as quickly as Jack's Beanstalk beans. The proposals you made, the businesses, products, or services you launched in the past year are now in line for large profits. All that you have done in your life will also come into play - those actions have led you to where you stand today. Even if you are not pleased with some of the decisions you made, you may still get lucky now and be able to pull in a very large income.
Just to be clear, when I say you are entering a fantastic financial year, I want you to know this has nothing to do with winning the lotto or being left a huge inheritance from a stranger - something that Howard Hughes might have done when he was alive. No, you will earn the money you receive, and the harder, and smarter, you worked in the past, the bigger your payoff will be now.
You have every reason to feel confident about your ability to earn a good income in the coming months, for Jupiter prefers Cancer over other signs - this planet is exalted in Cancer. This means Jupiter can express his gifts more easily, and you can absorb them easily, too. Jupiter is the planet of good fortune, expansion, happiness, and even miracles, so in Cancer, Jupiter can set off exceptional financial growth for you.
A welcoming committee will formally greet Jupiter this month, and included in the committee will be Mercury, the Sun, and new moon (18 degrees) in Cancer. A new moon usually opens a door, so gather up your courage and ask for a raise just after July 8. Although you will have two weeks, any new moon is strongest in the days just after it appears. This means you may get a sum of money, say, because you sell something special or because you get a generous raise, but you must ask for it - very few things in life happen on their own. I can look at the aspects and perfect your timing, but in the end, you must supply the elbow grease, dear Gemini.
This new moon is not without challenge - Uranus will act up and rile up that moon almost instantly by standing 90 degrees away. This suggests an untoward surprise about money, so keep your antenna up at all times, and be present in all negotiations. No one must speak for you - you won't agree with the final decision being made if you are not at the table. As you see, this month brings all kinds of news about money - it is mixed - but that is often the case in life. I feel you will land sunny side up.
One very tough day for money - when no news will be good news (let's hope things stay quiet) - will be July 31. Mars in Cancer will sharply challenge Uranus in Aries, and a very unwelcome piece of financial news may come up, or you may experience a dispute about money. This is no day to ask for a raise. It is also possible that you'll feel very impulsive about spending money - on this day, try to slow down and think before you buy.
Mars would have liked to be able to arrive at the party honoring Jupiter at the same time that the others did earlier, but Mars had an ongoing assignment in Gemini. All the while, since June 1, Mars has been working hard for you, lending you his wonderful qualities of leadership, courage, and attractiveness that you had at your disposal to forge your path ahead. No matter what the results you achieved, people were listening to you and impressed with your confidence. It's a great time to push forward when you have Mars in your sign.
I have also found that when Mars is in your sign or on your ascendant (that is, if you have Gemini rising), you can find very flattering things to wear, and would be able to improve your appearance in a way that gets you lots of compliments. That is, again, from July 1 to 12. Within that period, I suggest you go shop on July 9 and 10, your best days, while the moon is in Leo. That's when you are likely to be very excited about what you find in the stores!
On July 13, Mars will join the others in Cancer. Once in Cancer, Mars will force up your expenses until Mars leaves, August 27, but it may be because you knew you'd have a big expense this month and have planned for it. As two examples, you may have a tuition payment to make, or you may need to buy a new computer. An extra strong emphasis on money and expenses is not a bad thing, for you may become very motivated about finding ways make more money, if only due to necessity.
After the new moon arrives in Cancer, July 8, you can ask for a raise. If you already did, and have not heard back, you will hear now. If you did hear back, you will start to see the increase in your paycheck this month (or next month at the latest). This new moon is unstable, however, as Uranus will be in hard angle to the moon, giving you a surprise concerning finances at the last minute. It seems you may have to delay buying something you dearly wanted to buy, but if so, you will be able to buy it later. Your outlook is very positive for generating much income.
Speaking of purchases, do not buy any electronics or appliances during the first three weeks of July, for Mercury will be retrograde, until July 20 - I feel you should wait until July 22. It is never wise to buy anything expensive while Mercury is resting. Mercury rules all commerce - the buying and selling of all goods and services - but when Mercury sleeps we often become forgetful, choose the wrong priorities in selecting our choice, or simply make poor judgments. Mercury actually rules the moving parts in machines and also rules electronics, so you may find you never enjoy your computer, car, air conditioner - any expensive item - in the way you can anticipated.
Suffice to say that you should wait until July 22 to purchase any expensive things, and to give your final word on any big decision. The world will be in flux, and conditions are changing. If you make your decision now, you may later say, "Had I only known...."
Saturn, the planet that teaches us the value of patience and long range planning, will go direct on July 8 too, and that should help you see money that has been held up. Saturn is the natural ruler of your eighth house of other people's money and includes such funds as the division of property after a divorce, mortgage, refinancing plans, home improvement loans and other types of loans, bankruptcy proceedings, inheritances, court settlements, insurance payouts, royalties, and so forth. The move forward of Saturn means you will get quicker answers to questions involving these areas, and hopefully, quicker payments too if you are due money.
Although you will be privileged when it comes to financial affairs, you still have to be careful about how you speak to others about your good fortune. Two difficult aspects will occur at month's end. The first, on July 27, will bring Mars in direct conflict with Pluto. This would be no day to discuss money with anyone, for you will come up against a mountain of opposition and pressure - even manipulated force - to agree with them. Saturn will block the Sun, too, on this day, making it nearly impossible to get to a fair fee or price for work done.
You have good reason to stay optimistic about your financial prospects and efforts to create security, no matter what comes up. Here is why:
A golden triangle will appear in the sky this month, linking three planets in water signs: Jupiter in Cancer (5 degrees), Saturn in Scorpio (5 degrees), and Neptune in Pisces (5 degrees). As you see, we have quite a perfect triangle, with all mathematical degrees as tight as can be - this is significant. The three points of the triangle will funnel goodness into 1) your earned income financial sector, and 2) your workaday sector where projects are done, and 3) Neptune in Pisces, in your house of fame, honors, and promotion. Clearly the work you are doing is adding up and is about to pay off.
This golden triangle will peak on July 17 to 19, and in the days surrounding it will likely bring you very exciting career news, and the money included in the offer should be generous, too. However, the triangle does not have to be in tight mathematical precision (like it is on its best, most generous days, July 17-19), but be within a degree or two of each planet, and still help you. There planets move slowly, so they will be within a hair's breadth of each other, particularly after July 8 extending to August 7. Something good is coming, dear Gemini!
You may get a chance to travel far and wide at the full moon on July 22. That full moon is in divine-for-Gemini sign of Aquarius, 0 degrees, so you may be taking a vacation a few days earlier, and returning within four days of the full moon. As an aside, I have found it's best not to overstay a full moon while away. Plan to fly back home by June 21, no longer (and possibly sooner) than July 26 for best results. As said, all full moons have an area of influence of plus or minus four days.
This full moon will crystallize not only travel, but also publishing and broadcasting deals, questions about citizenship, visa, or green card, and/or about anything having to do with your efforts to get an advanced college degree or graduate degree from an educational institution. If you need to take a test, like the Bar to prove your credentials, this full moon will be favorable for taking that exam or for defending your thesis. If you need to hear word back about the results of your exam, the full moon will provide news.
This full moon in Aquarius will be about broadening your scope and learning more about the world around you. You may contribute research, offer an opinion of your own to others, or you may be teaching or studying at a college level, or you may publish or broadcast your work (or read others' works). You may meditate at the full moon July 21 about the truly important questions of life. You may debate with a friend over cappuccino in one of those dark, old comfy coffee shops, like ones that still have the original tin ceiling that we have here in New York's West Village that encourages patrons to stay a long time and enjoy being there. This full moon would be perfect for discussing life's mysteries.
This full moon in Aquarius of July 22 will be in hard angle to Saturn, so you may be concerned about all the work you have to do at the office that is piling up and needs your attention. See if you can juggle things in a way that will allow you to get a change of scene. Sometimes Saturn's presence suggests obligations may press on you, say, if you have children or an elderly parent to care for, and it's not so easy to go. Other manifestations of Saturn can mean you may be too tired to pack, and to even think of a trip. Here, if you have a significant other or friend who wants to take you, let them - you may find the trip rejuvenating.
This year we have TWO full moons in Aquarius, one right after the other. The first one is due July 21, and the next will come August 20. The second one will have even better aspects, so if you would rather delay your vacation to August, you will get a second chance to do so.
The July 22 full moon will affect you if your birthday falls on May 20, or five days within that date. The August 20 full moon will be more helpful if your birthday falls on or close to June 19. This may help you plan your ideal time to take your vacation.
This month, if your birthday falls on May 21, or within five days of this date, you will feel this full moon more directly than most, and benefit from it. The same is true of you have a planet in Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius that falls at 0 to 5 degrees in your natal chart. In second place will be if you have one natal planet in Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius at the same tolerance of degree. You, too, can expect to hear good news.
Romantically, Venus will be in Leo, a perfect spot for you, from July 1 to 22, and because Leo is in your short, quick travel house, you may find love on a weekend jaunt. Go to a resort known to be popular with the type of people you'd like to meet. It looks like you will be able to afford the trip with the nice rise in income you are about to experience, so pick a spot and find a hotel.

In the coming twelve months you will begin to earn very good money, and July begins to bring you proof of what's to come. Mercury, your ruler, will continue to retrograde until July 20, a phase that started last month. This will keep your progress slow, especially in regard to financial matters, but don't rail against delays. Those delays will benefit you, something you will see later. Once Mercury turns direct, your life will go from ditheringly slow to moving at breakneck speed, so be ready and that will happen by July 22. Still, you have to play your cards right, for no negotiation will be a slam-dunk, especially as you get later into the month. If you stay alert and don't rest on your laurels, you should be fine.
While you wait for Mercury to stop being retrograde, ask questions and gather information. A rare golden triangle supported by four major planets will appear in the heavens on mid-July (reaching perfection on July 17-19) just prior to Mercury's turn direct on July 20. This scintillating triangle of light, linking Neptune (vision) in your house of career, Jupiter (luck), and Mars (energy) in your house of money, and Saturn (wisdom and experience) in your house of work projects, spell career and money victory for you. You are about to be at the right place at precisely the right time and will be able to offer the experience and skills that will be highly prized.
It appears you'll want to travel this month, possibly quite far, and will return home within a day or two of the full moon in Aquarius, July 22. Pace yourself - you will have a lot to do on your schedule. Saturn will be in a challenging position, so it appears you've got a lot on your list to finish up. You can accomplish all you have to do, for Mercury will be moving direct, and the four planets mentioned will work together to support your every move. It's hard to imagine how you could experience anything BUT huge victories, and happy ones, too.
On July 31, Mars will make a raid at Uranus, a highly combustible pairing. A friend may ignite an argument and it's downhill from there. It may well be that this friend (or someone you assumed to be a friend) may have pangs of jealousy upon hearing about all your good fortune. Keep confidential any matters related to money. If you do, you'll come out ahead.
