We are now in eclipse season, and you just experienced the first one last month on October 18, a full moon lunar eclipse in Aries that lit up your ninth sector. As a result, your mind may have turned to travel, foreign people and places, or publishing and broadcasting ventures. Or, your efforts for university study may have brought results. It is also possible that you may have heard news regarding immigration and citizenship matters, possibly centered on green card, visa, or a passport.
One of those areas was likely to have been important for you after the October 18 eclipse arrived, especially if you were born August 17, plus or minus five days. If not, watch November 17, one month to the day later, plus or minus four days. In more rare cases, some Leos heard something one month to the day earlier, on September 17, in anticipation of this eclipse. Astrologers work with bell curves, so time is handled very differently in astrology - you can get results before an eclipse occurs, as the energy fans out in both directions, before and after.

With the eclipse of November 3, your mind will switch to home, and because this eclipse is a solar new moon eclipse, it will open up opportunities. New moon solar eclipses open a new door, while full moon lunar eclipses (like we had October 18) bring things to culmination or finish. As you might imagine, lunar eclipses can be emotional because they bring up memories, desires, feelings, and endings, while new moons open a new chapter. This month's eclipse will have a stronger influence on you than last month's (October 18) because as a Leo, you are ruled by the Sun, and this is a "solar" eclipse. Always watch for solar eclipses, because they have your name written all over them.
Also, this eclipse will hits one of the four super powerful angles of your chart, and as an important rule, any planet, eclipse, new moon, or full moon that hits one of those angles (north, south, east, west points of the chart) will create a large effect on you. This one hits the angle ruling your home, other property, and family, most specifically one of your parents.
This eclipse comes conjunct Saturn, so you are likely to make a very serious, long-range decision. If you move, the good news is that you're likely to stay in that house or apartment a very long time. Of course, if you are choosing a temporary, stopgap home, you may later change your mind and stay a very long time. Or, conditions may be such that you can't move for some reason, so if you make a choice, keep the longevity of your stay in mind.
I need to add here that Mercury is still retrograde in your home sector as you enter this month, a holdover from last month, and will go direct on November 10. Mercury started to retrograde officially on October 21, but you felt the slowdown in the pre-retrograde period starting October 1. Move heaven and earth to sign your paperwork on November 12, no sooner. You need a few days to get Mercury to regulate. In fact, Mercury will be even more regulated by November 27. Good to know, right?
Now, resuming my discussion of the solar eclipse, November 3, related to it is the fact that Mars and Pluto will both be very supportive to the eclipse. This is important, for both are the rulers of Scorpio, quite indicative of how things will play out over the coming weeks. Mars is currently in your financial house, so you may be able to get a good mortgage and be able to put a good amount of money on the table as a down payment.
Pluto is also well angled and is another financial planet, so it appears that when it comes to discussing the price or pre-approvals from the bank, your negotiation ability to cut a good deal will be strong. Pluto rules your fourth house of home and family, so if you need a stroke of good luck, you may get it. Alternatively, if you need to help a parent, and you find the cost involved is expensive, you will either find the funds to move ahead or find an alternative method to solve the problem that you can afford.
Ever since Saturn entered your area of home and family a year ago, on October 5, 2012, you have thought about how to solve a dilemma there. As several examples of the one you might be thinking about lately, it may be that you need to find affordable housing because it is becoming more urgent that you move. Or, you may have desperately needed to find a way to pay for costly repairs for any reason. Your home may have been hit with a natural disaster, and getting the insurance money may have tested your strength and faith in the world. Now, things may come to a point where you can finally act.
If you have tried to sell, buy, or lease an apartment or house, but had many problems doing so, you may get an option now. Sometimes life brings reverse surprises, such as when your landlord announces that the building you are now living in has been sold, or that the building is converting to condo - buy or leave. Sudden news like this can be very distressing. A different type of home-related question might have centered on the need to find the right solution for your Mom or Dad.
Under a new moon solar eclipse (worth three powerful new moons rolled into one), you will have options to solve the home, property, or family-related matter that you didn't have previously. Eclipses often send news suddenly, like lightning bolts out of the blue, so you need to be ready for all kinds of news. An eclipse cannot abide the status quo, for eclipses are always on a mission to move you forward, ready or not. Think of an eclipse as an examiner who is bent on finding the weakness in any situation and sweeping it away. Of course, it's better if you find it first, but if you can't figure out how to move forward on a dilemma, the eclipse will act for you.
I will take a moment to give you a little more information to understand the importance of an eclipse. Eclipses arrive in a family or series of signs, and this one is the Scorpio-Taurus series, remarkably similar in degree to the four out of five eclipses that appeared in 1994. We had another series, less close in degree, from late 2003 to 2005.
A certain series or family of eclipse will repeat approximately nine years later. The first in this series arrived as a new moon solar eclipse last year on November 13, 2012. Then two more arrived, first on April 25, 2013, as a lunar eclipse in Scorpio, and on May 10, 2013, as a solar eclipse in Taurus.
Now, this month, we have the next eclipse in the family of signs, a solar new moon eclipse, November 3 in Scorpio this month. In 2014 next year, we have two more in the series - April 29 and October 23 both will be new moon solar eclipses.
You won't likely feel all eclipses in any series with the same intensity - some that touch a planet in your chart (or Sun or moon) will be very dramatic, and others that are not close enough to align with one of your natal planets will only have a mild influence. You would need a copy of your natal chart to know - this time look for planets at or close to 11 degrees Leo. After that last eclipse, October 23, 2014, the emphasis on home and career will end and you will by then see a final resolve to your question, and very possibly before that.
Leo born on August 3, plus or minus four days, will feel this eclipse the most. If you have any natal planets in your chart that are at 11 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius, or Leo (or close to that degree), you will feel this one too, and may be challenged to move quickly on whatever comes up. You won't have to wait long to see what happens - November 3. Because there will be other eclipses in the series, make a note of what does occur now (if anything). Remember if you if you don't notice any home-or-family news, check what happens near December 3.
One day that you may find depressing or difficult will be the day Saturn will conjoin the Sun on November 5. You are ruled by the Sun, so having Saturn with you may bring up an obstacle or delay. Saturn loves paperwork, so you may have to file more. (Good grief.) Or, someone may criticize you, but if so, don't let it deflate your confidence. As you move toward November 5, look over your paperwork, and make sure it is accurate, so that way you are above reproach.
Your career will become the center of your attention on November 17, the full moon in Taurus 25 degrees. That's a Sunday, but you will feel the effects in the days that follow, all the way from Monday, November 18 until Thursday, November 21. You may hear the full moon news a little earlier, on Friday, November 15. This full moon will be speaking to Jupiter! Wow - all kinds of good news will come up and it looks like any new position or promotion you may be offered will come with a decent (even generous) salary.
Occasionally I see people on Twitter bellowing that nothing happened on the full moon, and that in fact they profess that the day I wrote about turned out to be the worst day of their life. (Really? Oh gee!) I cannot see everything in your unique natal chart, and I don't make predictions. I show you days that bring opportunity or constriction - you have free will, so nothing is predestined. You must do something to unlock a great aspect. Also, each aspect builds on the one before, so if you have not proven yourself yet, your breaks will be smaller than they would be if you have had more time to show your worth (or, had put more passion or energy into your work). As long as there is life, you can always start anew.
However, I CAN see that this full moon of November 17 will be your friend, so if you lose a job (highly unlikely - this one is so friendly), as events play out, this unfortunate event will work to your favor. As a result of this full moon, you can go higher and be far better compensated in your new position than you were in your current one. You won't have to leave your job to realize the goodness of this full moon, for you may get great publicity or praise for work well done. You may, for example, give an important speech that raises your visibility in your industry or be asked on TV as a guest to be interviewed. There are many ways this may play out, all of them happy.
Your luck will keep rolling! On November 18, Mars will reach out to Jupiter, a fine time to present an idea, goods, or services to a client. Someone high level believes in you and will see to it that you are well compensated. Circle this day in red as well!
The month ends well too. On November 27, Mercury (agreements, contracts, negotiations, speeches, travel, and other communications) will receive a signal from generous Jupiter. Because Mercury will still be in your home sector, if you close on a house or sign a rental lease, you would be doing so on an ideal day.
Mercury is the travel planet, and this is the day prior to the US holiday, Thanksgiving, so many people in America will be on the road. This time, you have a great day to travel. You won't see me say that next month, when cosmic storms will again roll in from December 21 all the way through early January. Keep plans simple.
On November 30, the Sun - your ruler - will receive an electric beam from Uranus, bringing a surprise from a partner if you have one! (This person may be a business partner or expert, or a romantic partner.) It's also possible you will hear you will travel soon, very possibly to an exotic city abroad. Alternatively, if you have applied to colleges, word may come back that you are granted entry, or that you can get your grant to do research abroad. If you have to defend your thesis, the days leading up to this date would be ideal. All kind of good things will happen to you at month's end, so drink it in!
Summary
As far back as a year ago, you started to struggle with the idea of improving a family situation, or your living situation, but because Saturn was involved with the conditions you faced, it has not been an easy situation to resolve. It looks as though you've hoped for a breakthrough, or at the very least, the right time to jump in. That time is at hand. With a new moon solar eclipse on November 3 falling in your house of home and family, flanked by the Sun, Saturn, and Mercury, you may be happy about the options that come up now.
The Sun rules your sign, so solar eclipses always have a stronger effect on you over other signs - November 3 will be a major moment in your timeline. Sometimes eclipses deliver messages immediately and other times a month to the day later (plus or minus four days). Stay alert - the path will open and when it does, you will need to make a decision rapidly. Just as important, watch in particular November 12, plus or minus one day, for exceptional luck with property, residential, or family matters.
All month, you seem to have high expenses. This high spending will be reduced next month, so your high spending will likely not last long. It is very possible that the checks you are writing are related to buying or renting a space or furniture for your new home. With so many planets in your home sector, along with an eclipse, so much of your actions will revolve around home and family.
Actually, this month, on November 18, you should get excellent news about money from someone who has been working on your behalf behind the scenes. This may help your cash flow quite a bit and you will have Mars in perfect angle to Jupiter.
One of your happiest days of the month will be November 12, when the Sun, which is your ruler, and Jupiter will be in sublime sync. Jupiter is the planet of happiness, expansion, profit, and financial abundance, and the Sun is the giver of life and strength. What a wonderful day to use for any purpose, but especially for investigating or announcing a home-related matter. This day is worth four stars for you, for what you start will likely grow in value over time.
Your career will reach an important pinnacle point at the full moon, November 17 - you may be amazed at the news you receive within four days of this date. Again, you will have help from behind the scenes, and you may or may not know the identity of the person that believes in you and is willing to go out on a limb for you. The news of this date may make you overjoyed - it will be one of your best days of the month. By November 27, it looks like your entire home and family plans may be clicking into place, thanks to collaboration between Mercury and Jupiter.
The month ends on another sensational day - November 30 - when the Sun, your ruler, receives a lovely vibration from Uranus, planet of unexpected developments. You may travel a great distance on this day (quite happily) or you may get exciting news about an academic or immigration matter. Also, if you have a partner, you will know this person will be looking after your interests, and delights in thrilling you.
You have so much going on this month that love has been crowded out of your schedule. This is unusual, but happily, your best aspects will come in early December, just in time for the holidays.

A solar eclipse on November 3 may solve a pressing home-related matter.
An older relative may need your help on November 5.
Jupiter will go retrograde November 6.
Mercury has been retrograde since October 21 and will turn direct November 10.
Good news about family or real estate could come on November 12. It's also great day to close on a house.
You may get a promotion or great publicity about a recent career victory, and it would happen near the full moon November 17.
On November 27 hand in a written document, sign a contract, or take a trip - any of these activities will work out well.
November 30-December 1 is a weekend made for fun and love.
