This month brings all kinds of aspects from a tense, jarring new moon to some of the most lovely social aspects you've seen since March. All will be tossed together in the same basket, with joyous aspects standing next to tension-producing ones. This is life - things like this happen - so the way I expect things will work out for you is that in some areas of your life will be spectacular, but in another area, you will have to take special care and attention to watch anything unexpected that may emerge. You will be putting out a figurative fire here or here and will need to mobilize quickly.

Your work projects and your health seem to be areas that will require focus now and for a while into the near future. The eclipse of September 27 last month may have brought you surprising news that had to do with personnel or other changes taking place at the office, or in regard to your health. You may see unexpected shifts in co-worker personnel with whom you work with each day, or you may hear of a subordinate's quick departure. Alternatively, it may be that you had a health concern last week and you have had to see a doctor to find out what was going on. In either case, as you enter October, you may be dealing with the details of what came up so that you can fix the situation.

Whatever happened late last month seems to have a chapter two at the new moon, October 12. This new moon will appear in Libra, in your twelfth house of confinement and secrets. You may need to interact with a doctor or other type of medical personnel, or a dentist or therapist. The twelfth house is the house of healing, so it would be a good time to get started on getting a medical opinion. If you feel fine, you might instead have to work on whatever came up at the office, and if you need a new assistant, for example, it may be time to start interviewing candidates.

Uranus will oppose that new moon and Sun directly, and when the Sun is involved, it is possible that you may have a tense moment with a male VIP in your company or with a male client. Be determined not to pour any gasoline on the waters, as this eclipse is creating an unstable atmosphere. People of all signs will be fragile, and although this is not a full moon (and not an eclipse), the planets involved will be "hot" so lie low and don't do or say anything that could incite others to take what you say the wrong way. Pluto will also be in a hard position, and because Pluto is in your house of agreements and contracts, you may hit an unexpected setback with an unusually forceful pushback from the other party with whom you are trying to hammer out a deal. Your proposed client or partner may dig in his heels and say, "It is my way or the highway."

What concerns me about this new moon is that it will set up a trend that you will need to watch in the coming six months. You may have on-and-off interactions with this person who is being so hard to deal with now, so keep an eye on how things will go. Traditionally any new moon, as we have here, in Libra, exerts the trend for six months until the full moon comes in the same sign - Libra - to finish up discussions or mediations about what will be done. That will happen on March 23, the full moon in Libra, which is also a solar eclipse. There is nothing to worry about - you have other aspects in your chart that are simply spectacular. I simply ask you keep an eye on this situation to protect yourself.

The moon is the natural ruler of your ninth house, so you may have problems with a person in an international city or who lives in your city but was born somewhere else. Or you may have difficulties with a matter involving a visa, green card, passport, or other immigration issue. If you are looking to choose a college to attend by setting up interviews with officials, this would not be the month to do it - have your interviews in November. This would also not be the month to set up a legal action in a dispute as there are too many planets working against one another. Again, wait for November, when you will be in control, and favor will be heaped on you.

Having said that, Pluto will be in a dispute with the new moon, you have another aspect going on at the same time, Pluto in ideal angle to Jupiter. This is always a signature of success in a chart, and because Pluto is your ruler, this exciting aspect will be just made for you. I feel you should continue to work on forming a formal agreement with the person who is giving you a hard time, for the profit potential of this deal is so big as to take your breath away. This is a rare aspect that will occur again March 16 and June 26, 2016 but not again for several years after that.

Mercury has been retrograde since September 17 and will finally go direct on October 9. Having had Mercury retrograde for those weeks in September must have complicating your work on various projects. In regard to health, you efforts to get a quick or accurate diagnosis may have lagged for a number of different reasons, but delays will clear up by mid-October. You will see that life will move at a fast pace, without so many snags like you had in September to slow you down.

The best, most sparkling part of your chart right now involves your friends and social life. Your friends would do anything for you now - no request would be too great to get a kind response from them. Mars, your secondary ruler, will be in your eleventh house of socializing and friendships all month, so you will have quite full calendar, and it may be hard to get work done. By the time you get to the office, you may be tuckered out.

Venus will enter this same social house on October 8, to remain in Virgo and your friendship sector until November 8. Venus and Mars love to be together and when they are, they set off just the sparks of love. This is rare - usually they are NOT together, so this is very exciting. Not only do you have the two osmic lovers in your house of friends, hopes, and wishes, you also have Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, in the same house, giving it a brilliant, golden glow. It is very possible a friend may make an introduction to a romantic interest this month, for you will be showered with fairy dust. You appear to be invited to more than one A-list party this month, so get your evening wardrobe ready. When you have a house packed with warm, friendly planets as you do now (that crowded house is your eleventh house of friendship), the energy of that house often pings directly over to the one directly across the sky, the house of the horoscope standing at 180 degrees from your friendship house. That house getting all those pings would be your fifth house of true love. That means all this planetary energy will powerfully increase your chances for romance if you are single. If you are attached, you may decide to have a baby or to do something special for a child you have now.

Once Mercury goes direct on October 9, Venus will have already entered Virgo the day before, so it would be a perfect time to look for new clothes on your favorite Internet site, or real life shop. Venus will see that you find the most flattering things at that time, so your timing would be ideal. You will want to have some new things to wear at all the social events I see you attending. A few new things will give you confidence and a boost to your morale, and when it comes to meeting a new, intriguing person, you will be able to put your best foot forward.

One of your most exciting nights to have a date or attend a party will be Saturday, October 17, when Mars, your ruler, will align with Jupiter. What a perfect evening to have fun and to enjoy a pretty location outside your usual routine. You need to see something new that puts you in the fresh air - try to take a drive into the countryside this weekend with someone special. If you go to a party this month, it looks like the host will offer an amazingly beautiful party. When Jupiter is present, a lavish, pampering event is often in store.

If you have vacation days you can take off from work, I would suggest you take two days, and go from Thursday, October 15 to Sunday, October 18. This would include October 17 as part of the time off, of course, and you read above, what a dazzling date that will be for you. I chose to suggest to you the idea of a slightly longer holiday because it will include October 15, when your two rulers, Mars and Pluto, will be in rare sync. This is unusual for Mars to be in ideal angles to Pluto because it takes Mars two years to revolve around the Sun, but it takes Pluto 248 years to make the same journey. On October 15, all conditions will be in perfect position. This month Mars will be in your eleventh house of friendships, hopes, and wishes, and Pluto will be in your short distance travel sector, so plan to go away with a friend or with a romantic someone who is already in your life. You may want to choose a nearby wooded area to enjoy nature. If you live near a region that has blazing fall foliage, you would be as happy as a puppy in clover to see it. It would be a shame not to see some of nature's greatest expression of her creativity. Planets in earth signs suggest a trip to a beautiful mountain range would hit the spot.

Another brilliant, very rare day will come up over the weekend of October 24-25, when Venus will be in exact alignment with Jupiter. Again, lucky you - this is happening in your eleventh house where all the social activity will take place. This should be a magical weekend, so start making plans. If you are attached, you will have the edge, for Venus is the natural ruler of your seventh house of marriage and commitment, and it appears your partner will do all he or she can to make this weekend completely enchanting. Your partner will take very good care of you this weekend, so together, plan something special. Love will envelop you like the soft wings of an angel. If you are single, a blind date might work out exceptionally well if a friend sets it up for you.

Halloween this year should turn out to be lots of fun. The day prior, Friday, October 30, will bring Neptune in a magical angle to the Sun. Neptune is the planet of imagination, so this year the costumes should be incredibly creative. The moon will be in Cancer on Halloween, an ideal water-sign place for the moon to be so that you can enjoy yourself. Either give a party, or go to one. If you want to win a blue ribbon for your costume, you will have to work harder than ever to beat the competition. Get busy!

Changes taking place at the office seem to be unsettling. You received a strong hint of what is afoot at the lunar eclipse, a full moon, late last month near September 27, but more shifts are on the way with the moon, October 12. Uranus will oppose this new moon, so it's clear that news that will surface may stop you in your tracks, and you will have to quickly sort through your options. The topic will have to do with a project or will be about a co-worker or subordinate. ÿUranus will be very prominent at the new moon and Uranus is known to deliver news in the blink of an eye. It will take several days to think through all elements of the situation, and much longer to adjust to it. Whatever goes on may make you feel pressured to accept an unfair dictate from a domineering person. In that case, resist. You have enough positive aspects to win, or to at least hammer out a pleasing compromise.

A different way this could play out is that you may have a health matter that may have come up late last month and will demand more of your attention after the new moon, October 12. It's a good time to address that matter (if you have one) because Pluto, the planet of transformation, will be at perfect angle to Jupiter, the great healer. The full moon on October 27 will bring a major culmination to your relationship with your one-and-only. If you don't have an established romantic partner, then this full moon will focus on your alliance with a business collaborator.
