Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

Pisces, this will be a major month for you, for two eclipses are on the way, one in your opposite sign of Virgo in the form of a new moon solar eclipse, 8 degrees on September 1. The other eclipse will arrive as a full moon lunar eclipse your sign, Pisces, at 24 degrees, on September 16. Both eclipses will bring changes, and you may have to give up one situation or relationship to benefit from another. Eclipses are some of the most powerful events that the cosmos uses to create movement and needed progress.

This month also holds the move of Jupiter to a new sign, Libra, on September 9, a place Jupiter has not visited since September 2004 to October 2005. Jupiter’s new place will bring superb news for you starting September 9, as will the move of Mars to Capricorn, starting September 27. When planets play musical chairs, it means the same-old situations that have seemed stuck will start to loosen up and bring welcome opportunities. In your case, dear Pisces, both planets will bring you very good news.

As if these aforementioned astrological headlines were not enough, we will also have Mercury retrograde during September’s the first three weeks, but also the luckiest days of the year in September’s last week. To top it all off, we have a bouquet of new moon in Libra September 30, my favorite new moon of the year.

I hardly know where to begin! Let’s start at the top, with the eclipse of September 1, which will signal a change in a relationship concerning someone with whom you’ve had a committed partnership, whether in business or romantic life. Often at eclipse time, something that goes on in the outside world over which you have no control over starts to have a powerful influence on you and your partner, and suddenly triggers the change. Our sense of time changes at eclipse time, and things you assumed you’d do in the future suddenly change and need to happen immediately.

For example, you may have decided to get married to your sweetheart in two years, but something might come up – it may be something as simple as your accountant advising you that you would be wise to marry now and save quite a bit of money on taxes. Or, it might be that you or your partner will get a fabulous promotion but taking it will require you live abroad, and that development might cause you to marry sooner. For others, it may be a pregnancy that makes you want to marry sooner. There are an endless number of possibilities, but you get the idea.

In the chance that you have not been happy with a partner in business or in love, an eclipse can precipitate a breakup that might seem sudden. In truth, the dissatisfaction may have been brewing for a very long time. The job of an eclipse is to bring a floodlight of truth that had been hidden to the surface, and sometimes the truth is welcome and at other times blinding.

A new moon eclipse generally marks the start of a new relationship or new, more advanced stage of an ongoing relationship. Sometimes an eclipse will ask that you let go of a previous partner (that person is “eclipsed out”) and, for example, that person might be your agent, publicist, or business partner. This is assuming you’ve been dissatisfied with a partner, but if you have been happy, no such worry should enter your mind. The September 1 eclipse should be a positive one, even if enforced changes (should that happen) make you at first assume it won’t be good.

This eclipse will be complicated by Saturn and Mars in your career house, in hard angle to this eclipse reaching fullness in your partnership house. This eclipse seems to have something to do with your work, your reputation, and your career goals, so that hints that that you are ready to change a business partner or collaborator. Neptune, your ruler, is in Pisces, and is directly opposed to the planets in your partnership house – this tells me there is some uncertainty about this relationship or the information you need from your partner, and the information seems to be hard to come by. Pluto, however, will be your best buddy, for it tells me a friend will come to your aid in this situation.

How will things go in the final resolve? I see a positive end. Mercury is the ruler of Virgo, and this eclipse is in Virgo. Mercury is found conjunct Jupiter to exact degree, so this tells me that happiness results, and in the case of a business situation, profit awaits you too, in the end.

If your birthday falls on February 28, plus or minus five days, you will feel the September 1 solar eclipse more than friends who are Pisces but born at different points of the sign. The same is true if you have Pisces rising 9 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, or a natal planet or moon in Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus, 9 degrees, with the same plus or minus five degree tolerance – you will feel this eclipse directly too.

The next eclipse will be in Pisces, 24 degrees, and come in the form of a full moon lunar eclipse. While the solar eclipse September 1 will open a new chapter, this eclipse, September 16, will end one. This eclipse has to do with something dearly important to you, so close to your heart, I cannot tell you what that might be, but you would know. Again, this eclipse brings in a recalcitrant Mars. You will need to negotiate something during this eclipse too, but with Jupiter orbiting within six degrees of the Sun, again I feel you can reach accord. The Sun rules your sixth house of work projects, so if this is about a business collaborator, it seems that you will see brisk business later, as a result of your actions at the eclipse, especially if you are self-employed.

If your birthday falls on March 14 plus or minus five days, you will feel the effects of the September 16 eclipse the most. The same would be true if you have Pisces rising at 24 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. The same would be true if you have the moon or a natal planet at 24 degrees, again, plus or minus five degrees, in Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer, Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn. If so, that planet or the moon will be very lit up and you will see changes.

Over the past year, while you had Jupiter in Virgo from August 2015 to this month, you have been very blessed with smart, caring partners who may have helped you in various areas of your life. It was a wonderful time to become engaged, or to marry, or to take on a close business partner. The partners who are so good for you will remain with you. The eclipse may help you ferret out one person who has not been working in your interest, if anyone like that exists, and help you bond closer with someone you do value highly.

Now Jupiter will move to a new part of your chart when it enters Libra on September 9 to stay thirteen months, until October 10, 2017. Jupiter will help you in a new way – financially.

Ever since Uranus moved into your earned income sector on March 11, 2011 for a seven-year stay, you’ve been subject to wild swings in your financials. While you may have had exciting news of large chunks of cash coming in at times, you probably had tough times too, due enormous expenses and tight cash flow. You have been working to stabilize your finances, but even your best efforts were not always productive. In the past year, you’ve worked especially diligently in the blind faith that good money would soon start to come to you. Now you will be proven right. You are on the cusp of one of your most lucrative financial years of the decade.

Your first tiny clue that things are looking up financially will come on or very near September 17, when Mars and Uranus will be in sync. Because Uranus is in your earned income sector, you may see a rise in fees or salary – Mars is in your prestigious career house, so your performance in recent months will have direct bearing on the money you see in your paycheck at this point. Not only will September 16 be positive for financial news, so will September 19, when Venus and Mars work together too.

When Jupiter, the great good fortune planet, moves into Libra on September 9, to stay thirteen months, until October 10, 2017, Jupiter will fill your eighth house of other people’s money. The generous money you see will likely come in one or more large chunks, and represent a commission, bonus, licensing fees, an insurance payout, royalties, cash advance, an inheritance, or money you get from a bank loan, a mortgage or refinanced mortgage, scholarship, student loan, university financial aid, venture capital, court settlement, insurance payout, or other such funds that are outside of salary. You might even win a large sum on a TV game show.

You won’t have to wait long to see the proof of Jupiter’s generosity. Circle in gold the dates September 25-26, the two luckiest days of the year, when you will likely see a very large check when Jupiter and the Sun meet in alignment in your eighth house of other people’s money.

It is possible that you might win a contest, so you could buy a scratch-off lottery ticket or a book of charity raffle tickets. Libra is a collaborative sign, so you may want to buy a ticket with one friend. Don’t go overboard with buying tickets of chance, for if you are lucky, you will be lucky with only one or two tickets. I listed many sources of possible financial benefit, and so your source may come from one of those, or one area you won’t expect. Be both optimistic and realistic. I feel that because Jupiter rules your solar tenth house of fame and honors, and the Sun rules your sixth house of workaday assignments, your bounty will most likely arrive as a result of your good work and reputation.

The luckiest days of the year are only for two days, but the lovely new moon of September 30 will give you a longer period of financial gain. The steps you take in the days that FOLLOW that new moon will have the power to change your financial picture for a full year.

You are on the cusp of one of your most lucrative financial years of the decade.

Let’s say you are starting a business, or launching a new product, like an app or piece of software – your business should do exceptionally well if you launch on or just after September 30. All new moons bring ten days of influence, and they decrease in strength in each passing day as you move away from the date it appears (September 30). That’s why you must act quickly.

Mars will change signs too this month, but not until September 27. All year, since March 5, Mars was in Sagittarius, and retrograded back into Scorpio from May 27 to August 2. Then Mars moved back into Sagittarius on August 2 where Mars remained to this day, and in that time has put an enormous amount of focus on your career to the exclusion of so many other parts of life.

Mars was retrograde from mid-April through June and hampered your progress. You still made advances, but the process was arduous. If you still want to make a name for yourself and have people to see, and projects to seed, send out your proposals while Mars tours Sagittarius, until September 27. You should find it fairly easy to get your foot in the door of very high-level VIPs. With Mercury retrograde this month, you will likely have to tweak your ideas later. Don’t etch anything in stone yet, but you can open talks.

In terms of having fun and enjoying love, once Mars moves to Capricorn, from September 27 to November 8, you will enter into a beautifully social period, a more exciting one than you’ve seen in a long time. Mars likes being in Capricorn – the ancients wrote that this is the constellation that Mars prefers to travel in. Capricorn, an earth sign, blends perfectly with your water-sign element of Pisces. This means Mars will be strong and helpful to you now, translating into thoughtful, supportive friends. You will enjoy this phase very much, for the pressure on you to excel will come off long enough for you to feel carefree and relaxed. You will have the ability to make a new friend or to bond closer to a friend you have now.

You would be wise to circulate, for Mars is the natural ruler of your earned income sector, so mixing and mingling will have a direct link to your ability to increase your earned income. All year you’ve done business the formal way, but you won’t have to write so many proposals and make as many appointments. Instead, you will learn more by socializing and you may enjoy the process so much more.

Mars will bolster your romantic life too, while at the same time Venus will enter Scorpio on September 23 to stay until October 18. This means the end of September should be very bright for your love life, and that’s a lovely change.

Summary

Two eclipses are coming your way – the first one will fall in your opposite sign of Virgo on September 1, bringing a partnership matter front and center. You may get very serious about one special person and get engaged, married, or committed to a person in a business sense this month. A crown of stars are lining up in your solar seventh house of partnership and marriage – good fortune Jupiter, news-oriented Mercury, and the Sun, and new moon eclipse in Virgo (bringing opportunity). This eclipse will open talks. Saturn and Mars will be at hard angles to the eclipse, indicating that you will need to get over an obstacle. You may have to leave a business partner to take on another if you have not been satisfied. Jupiter and Mercury will be conjunct, making the outcome of this September 1 eclipse very positive for you.

This is not the best time to seal your promises to your proposed partner in love or business, as Mercury will be retrograde until May 22. It is never wise to make any plan official while Mercury is out of phase, as conditions are in flux. Until the dust settles, you won’t be able to make informed decisions. It’s especially not wise to start a new job either. The exception is if you go back to a former boss or company you worked for previously – in that case you can proceed, for you are not beginning the relationship but continuing one you started earlier. If you signed papers for any new venture far in advance of Mercury retrograde, sometime in August, then you are fine to make the final preparations to move forward.

A second, full moon, lunar eclipse on September 16 in Pisces will arrive next, indicating that something of great importance to you will reach culmination. At this eclipse, a relationship or situation that touches your deepest emotions will crystalize. At the very same time, thanks to the closeness of expansive, generous Jupiter and the Sun, you are likely to get a plum assignment that is well paying, and if self-employed, you may now attract lucrative new business. Another bonus of this eclipse may be that you will get good news about a health or fitness matter. This eclipse has many possible gifts for you – you may see one or all of them come at once.

When it comes to finances, watch in particular the luckiest days of the year, when the Sun and Jupiter will be in rare sync, an annual event, but only once in twelve years in Libra. This is set to happen September 25-26. Both days will be gold star days. Go ahead and buy a charity raffle ticket, but don’t do overboard. You are favored – it you are lucky, a single ticket could win you the prize.

Only days later, one of the finest new moons of 2016 is coming, September 30, and will open a portal in your eighth house of other people’s money. You are likely to see a generous sum of money come in days that will follow that new moon. This money again may represent a prize winning, but more likely it would represent other sums covered by the eighth house, including such funds as commission, bonus, licensing fee, royalty, venture capital investment, or sponsorship book advance, inheritance, or other source that will pay in one lump sum. This is another reason to stay reasonable if you buy a raffle ticket – you have no idea which area will become your golden area. Trust that you will do well – you will deserve all that you receive.

Although this month favors those who are in a relationship and ready to get to the next level and possibly commit, if you are single, you should enjoy the period when Venus tours fellow-water sign Scorpio, from September 23. Love will burn even more brightly once Mars enters Capricorn, from September 27 to November 9. Mars will light your house of social activity, which will become gloriously bright, just in time to enjoy the coming cultural season. You’ll be stepping out, so get your wardrobe ready. With Venus and Mars working in collaboration, just for you, you’ll be turning heads and gathering lots of admiring glances.
