You are in the mood for love, so get ready for a wonderful month that will be just your cup of tea. Your work life has been, and continues to be, busy, and you need change. The universe agrees and has sent you a gorgeous new moon on October 30, in Scorpio 8 degrees, that will encourage romance in the best possible way during the first ten days of November. That new moon appeared in elegant angle to Neptune, giving inspiration, especially when traveling to any country or island that requires a passport for entry. What a wonderful time early November will be to travel, especially if you go for pleasure and time with your one-and-only.

You will have other bonuses from that new moon. If you are an author, columnist, or screenwriter, Neptune will send you the lyrical, gem-like words to use in early November.  There are other benefits to this new moon. If you are in college or graduate school, you will write your reports in an exceptional inspirational, creative way. If you are a professor, your teaching will have a literary touch.  If you your birthday falls on June 29, plus or minus five days, you will benefit from this new moon the most. If you have Cancer rising at 8 degrees plus or minus five degrees, or the moon in Cancer, or a natal planet in Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn 8 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, you too will benefit in some special way – take notes on your calendar that you can refer to later.

 The light, happy, party theme will continue to run through so much of this month for you. Your next special time will fall over the weekend of November 5-6, when Venus will receive silvery beams from Uranus, the planet of surprise.  The full moon on November 14 plus or minus four days will bring a big party or other gathering that you’ll attend. This full moon is in sensuous Taurus, 23 degrees, so you’ll likely love the soft, romantic atmosphere. Pluto will be friendly to that full moon, from your seventh house of partner, so you won’t likely go alone, but with your one-and-only. Venus will enter this, your serious relationship house (the area that requires a commitment), so your relationship should be very smooth.

 This full moon will affect you very much if your birthday falls on July 15, plus or minus four days. Similarly, if you have Cancer rising 23 degrees, or have a natal moon or planets in your natal chart in Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces at 23, you will benefit.

Mars will move into your eighth house of finances on November 8, and that will bring a few hefty expenses, but this will only continue until December 19. This may mean you will start shopping for holiday gifts early and buy more gifts than usual. You will be smart to buy those gifts now, before you get to December, because you will have problems finding the perfect gift in December.

 Why will this be true? Mercury is about to go retrograde from December 19 to January 8, but the problem is, you will feel the approaching Mercury retrograde as soon as December 5. Mercury retrograde does create havoc over the holiday season. If you run out of time and find you have more gifts to buy, you may want to resort to buying gift certificates. It will be vital that you know the retailer that your recipient loves to frequent most, for nothing is worse than having a gift certificate to a store you would never visit.

 If you do buy a gift certificate, then photocopy the bar code and number beneath it and put the name of the person you are giving the card on the photocopy. I do this all the time. One very valuable gift card did get lost one year – to Apple – and the store instantly gave me a new card for my daughter because I had that bar code. They stopped the lost card and gave us a new one.

 Mars is the natural ruler of your tenth house of fame, so it’s alternatively possible that the expenses you are experiencing are related to money you are investing in your own business, or if you work for others, into your specialty. You may be getting specialized education or brush up classes to get ahead in your work. Any kind of investment you make in yourself this month will be wise and pay off soon.

 In particular, I am very encouraged by the mutual reception between Mars and Uranus that will be happening this month. What is a mutual reception? It’s something rare that we only see occasionally in astrology, and only for a short time. In order to have a mutual reception, you need one planet, like Mars, to travel in the sign that Uranus rules – Aquarius. Bingo, we have that, but we need something else. We need Uranus to travel in the sign that Mars rules – again, bingo, Uranus is in Aries, the sign Mars rules.

 This mutual reception will go on only until December 19, because at that time, Mars will change signs. A mutual reception makes each planet work like the other’s buddy, and in fact, each planet takes on the persona of the work like the other planet. This will set up a link between your work and your expenses, the reason I said that investing in yourself this rare month would be such a good idea. This would also be a good time to negotiate perks, commission, bonus, and fees with a new company or with your present company if you are taking on more responsibly.

 The new moon at month’s end, November 29, will be in Sagittarius, 8 degrees. This new moon will light your house of workaday projects, so this will bring in many more projects to do. This suggests you may work in a seasonal business that gets very busy at holiday time. You will certainly feel needed! Still, within all the commotion, you may not hear important advice about how to do your job or project correctly, according to the client’s dictates or that of your boss.
