This month has all the makings of a memorable, possibly turning point month, where things will happen in your private and public life that will break the seal on past and push you forward into a new realm. You will be able to make decisions at long last because the right opportunities will come up that you find workable and that you can become enthusiastic about. Work, home space, and your relationship are all in the spotlight.

The first part of November will bring up important news about a home and property situation that you may have been wrestling with for some time. The new moon of October 30, still strong as you enter November, will bring you choices. It matters not if you want to do something on a large or small scale – you will be able to do so now. This is the first help you’ve had all year to settle things regarding home or other property you may own. You might want to sell or buy, find a new place to rent, or make repairs or renovations. Neptune will be extraordinarily friendly, indicating several possibilities. The first is, if you need funding, with Neptune so beautifully positioned in your eighth house of financing, it looks like you will get the mortgage, refinance plan, or home improvement loan that you might need to begin. Neptune is visual – bring your plans with you to show your banker.

Neptune also rules creativity, so if you are involved in a decorating project, Neptune will be a big help to you to find all the right selections. If you hadn’t planned to do anything much, you might want to initiate a house cleaning project before the holidays, such as to have the rugs shampooed and windows professionally washed, and you may search for pretty holiday decorations to add to your living room. One more possibility is that you might have a plumber come in to check the pipes, and if he finds a problem, then you can have them quickly changed. (Neptune rules water in all of its forms.)

Neptune has been retrograde since early June, but will go direct on November 19, speeding all financial talks further. You should be able to get your answer soon to any talks or applications you are making now. Watch the days that circle November 19, for that is when you will see clues. Whenever a big outer planet like Neptune changes from retrograde to direct (as you have here, this month), always watch the two days prior and after the date it turns direct – you will see clues of what is to come next.

At the full moon, November 14, plus or minus four days, your career will likely bring good news and take all of your attention. This full moon will be in Taurus 23 degrees and will fall at the very pinnacle point of your chart, putting a spotlight on how well you are doing at work. This full moon will be a friendly one, receiving supportive rays from Pluto – albeit, from a distance of seven degrees, but still close enough to be significant. This could be the point when VIPs will laud you for past efforts. Pluto is in your workaday sector, so they will point to accomplishments you’ve made and specifically name projects you’ve completed. This full moon has no other aspects, only positive ones, so even enforced changes (if any come up) will benefit you.

Venus will glide through Sagittarius, a gorgeous place for Venus to be, for it will light your house of true love until November 11. One of your best weekends for fun and love will be November 5-6, when Venus and Uranus will be in sync. If you can travel spontaneously over that weekend, do! You will have a happy surprise over this weekend, and it will relate to love and the enjoyment of being in a new environment.

The end of the month, November 29, will bring a new moon in Sagittarius 8 degrees, to light your fifth house of true love, but here we have a few cross currents. Stern Saturn is moving through this house, a place it’s been since December 2014, teaching you the give and take inherent in relationships. You are becoming more mature and wise about who would be right for you. You may have been separated from the one you love, perhaps because your sweetheart has to travel a lot for work, lives in a distant city, or is doing a medical residency and works all hours. By the end of this coming New Year, when Saturn enters Capricorn on December 20, 2017, this frustration will end. Saturn is simply testing the depth of commitment both of you have for one another. This is a rare aspect that stays three years, and comes by every 29 years.

Fortunately, the Sun and new moon of November 29 will be in early degrees, 8 degrees, a bit far from Saturn at 18 degrees Sagittarius, but close enough to make you think deeply about your current relationship and where you want to take it next. Jupiter will be very friendly to this new moon, adding the gift of clear communication. Mars will also be friendly to the new moon and help you to get along extremely well with your partner.

To help you understand, before I continue, I want you to know that the fifth house (where the new moon is appearing) is the area of new romantic love. It is not the house of marriage or committed partnerships, for that is the seventh house. The fifth house is the area where you fall in love and later, if you become engaged or married, your relationship will move into the seventh house (not being highlighted here yet, but it will in February, near Valentine’s Day, remarkably). Saturn’s long visit to your fifth house is asking you to value the time you spend with someone special, and to urge you to want to see development, whether that is to go to the next stage of the relationship, such as to move in together, or leave. Saturn rules the concept of time, and wherever we have Saturn, we tend to want time to count. With the strong emphasis on living quarters at the top of the month, you may be thinking about living together.

Neptune will be in hard angle to this new moon November 14, suggesting that you may have made assumptions about your current dating partner that may not be accurate. We all tend to fill in unknown blanks about a person with glowing attributes when we don’t know someone well enough, and this danger will be at play now. Neptune is in a financial house, so if you are thinking of getting married, it may be a good time to talk about your partner’s credit rating, as unromantic as that sounds. Your partner’s credit could affect you if you wed. Neptune always points to the areas where information may be missing or obscured. You need to know the truth, and if your partner has a sterling rating, he or she won’t be shy about sharing the information.

Elsewhere in your horoscope, coincidently at the time of this new moon at month’s end, Uranus, planet of surprise and innovation, will be in friendly conversation with Saturn, planet of long-term gain, and the separation between Uranus and Saturn will be only three degrees, qualifying as a conjunction. This suggests that changes you make this month to your life, whether regarding your home, other property, your career, or in your love life, will be solid ones that you will keep in place a long time. This is because Saturn and Uranus will be in close, friendly touch all through late 2016 (especially in December) and during most, but not all, months of 2017 with the best being May and November. Uranus rules your partner, and Saturn rules your work life (more of the day-to-day experience than fame and status), so these are the areas most likely to stabilize.

Mars will start the month in Capricorn, making your work life very active, but Mars will quickly move to Aquarius on November 8. Mars will then put an emphasis on your close, established relationship at work, as a collaborator, business partner, or agent; or at home, your mate or established romantic partner. Mars will continue to spotlight this person until December 19. The job of Mars is to occasionally cleanse a situation, so if anything is wrong and festering beneath the surface, Mars will bring it to the surface so that both of you can look at it, and then decide how to fix what you see, or leave. Let’s think positively. If you have a strong relationship, it will remain that way, and Mars will only energize it farther.

November 15 would be a great day to talk with your significant other, whether that person is someone you care for in love or are tied to in business. Mercury, now in your house of true love, will receive a friendly beam from Mars, now in your house of committed relationships.

This month holds the American holiday, Thanksgiving Day, November 24, and here in America, have an entire four-day weekend of celebrations where we reflect on the parts of our lives for which we are most thankful. It’s a lovely holiday that the Pilgrims who came to this country started. It’s a time when more people travel than any other time of the year. If you are going home for Thanksgiving – or, if you don’t live in America and don’t celebrate Thanksgiving but still want to travel for other reasons – I love November 22.

See if you can head to the airport or railroad station, or jump in your car on November 22. Mercury, which rules travel and communication, will be in fine angle to good fortune Jupiter. This would be an ideal day to travel, or to go shopping, take an exam, or sign a contract. Yes, signing a contract would be especially good, as the deal would generate profits. Jupiter just happens to BE in your contracts / communication house, so this gives you a double dip of pleasure in terms of all projects involving travel, shopping, or communication through writing, editing, speaking, or translating.

This month has some on-off / yes-no aspects standing side by side. The following day of the day I just mentioned, November 23, would not be wise for travel because Saturn will be conjunct Mercury, and I suspect delays will come up. You can sign a contract, however, for Saturn will see that it stays in place a very long time.

A beautiful weekend is November 26, when Mercury and Uranus will join forces. What a sparkling day to shop and possibly find bargains, to travel spontaneously, or to generate lots of good ideas that are completely original.

You would be wise to shop in November, because next month Mercury will retrograde from December 19 to January 8, but you will start to see the slowdowns, low stock on shelves, and so forth as early as December 5. If you can’t shop, then consider buying gift certificates next month in a store you know your recipient loves to shop in. Then photocopy the bar code should the card get lost. That happened to one of my daughters – the Apple Store card got lost, but I had the photocopy, and easy as pie, a new card was issued and the old card stopped. When Mercury goes out of phase, you can’t be too careful.

November has the elements to make this a highly productive month. Plan your initiations now – later, in December, Mercury will go retrograde and bring a plethora of delays. The new moon that appeared at the end of October is now still strong, influencing your fourth house of home and family. For a long time it appears you’ve wanted to make changes, but were challenged to know when the pieces of the puzzle would fit into place. The answer is now – this will be the best moment of the year to look at your options and make plans to move house, renovate, or design your decor. If you instead need to find an answer to help a family member – most likely for one of your parents – that challenge can be solved now.

Work has been extremely busy, for Mars was moving through your work sector since September 27, but soon, when Mars leaves this area, November 9, you will be able to come up for air. From that point on, your focus will shift to your partner, and you will be better able to enjoy the coming holidays. It is true that Mars can sometimes bring to the surface partnership difficulties that have to be faced. Mars does that to make sure the relationship remains honest and open. If Mars sees no reason to stir the pot, you won’t see any disagreement at all, but will enjoy the time you have to give your partner.

In terms of your rising status, the full moon of November 14 in Taurus may bring a new title, offer, or other exciting news within four days of this date. Work you did as far back as six months ago may now come to fruition. Professionally, if you have been interviewing for a new position, you will hear back regarding whether you got the job or not – if the job is a step up, it seems you did.

Quick short ravel will be heavenly, and if done for work, profitable, on November 22, when Mercury and Jupiter combine forces. If you are traveling to come home for the Thanksgiving holiday (US) on November 24, this would be the right day to choose, as you would not face the long lines and delays you would face on November 23.

You may also travel to a more distant location when Mercury and Uranus work together, and if so, you’ll be quite spontaneous, November 26. This is a great day for generating original ideas, for traveling, or for finding bargains for holiday gifts.

Romance and fun will be a wonderful focus after the new moon arrives, November 29 and continuing for two weeks. Mars will be perfectly angled to this new moon, so if you are attached, Mars will give you an edge. Still, this new moon will help every Leo, of any marital status. Jupiter will be supportive too, making communication clear. The only planet not helping will be Neptune, challenging your perception of the relationship and asking you if you know one another well enough to take the next step. Because Neptune is in a financial house, before you move in together or get engaged, you might ask for a credit check. That sounds terribly unromantic, but Neptune’s position says it’s a smart step to take.
