Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
This month will focus you strongly on a close important relationship in love or in business. The universe will be sending you mixed messages in June, so it is making me surmise that you may be thinking about more than one individual who you would call a partner. This strong emphasis on forming partnerships and agreements, and also on deciding on the effectiveness of one that is currently in place, is a theme that came up late last month on May 25, when you had a friendly new moon in your partnering / marriage sector. All new moons open a portal of energy, and the favorable ones bring new opportunities.
In March, April, and during much of May, you had to be patient while Venus and Mercury stopped being retrograde, and when both planets worked their way back to robust strength. By May 18, Venus was strong and healthy again, and is not set to retrograde again until October 2018 next year. Mercury stopped retrograding too, and ramped up to former strength by May 20. Mercury retrogrades every three months, so Mercury will go retrograde again this year on August 12 to September 5.
As you see, you have an open road now to think about your feelings and goals for yourself, and about whether your partner is pulling his or her weight in the relationship. You now will have time to reflect, to talk, and to make any changes you feel might be necessary. Last month you may have decided to become closer to a business collaborator by making your alliance official with paperwork, or in love, by choosing to be exclusive to a partner, or by getting engaged or married.
Take special note of June 3, a gorgeous four-star day, when a dream can come true regarding one special person with whom you want to form a strong bond. Jupiter, the great good fortune planet, will be in dazzling alignment with the Sun. The Sun always indicates where you will shine, and currently the transiting Sun is found in your solar seventh house of committed partnership. Meanwhile, Jupiter has been moving through your solar eleventh house of friendship, hopes, and wishes since September 2016 last year and will remain there until October 10 of this year. This is the first time in 12 years that Jupiter will be visiting this house, so you are getting rare and special help from Jupiter to make a dream a reality. If you want to get engaged, June 3-4 would be the weekend to do it.
If you feel your ruling planet, Jupiter, planet of good fortune and even miracles, has not been working hard enough for you lately, it might have been because Jupiter has been retrograde since early February. This month, Jupiter will turn direct on June 9, so from now on you will feel a great deal more cosmic support for your dreams.
I had mentioned that this month the universe will be sending confusing mixed messages regarding your relationship. You will see the truth of this in less than a week after the rosy aspect appears on June 3. You will see a difficult full moon on June 9 in Sagittarius at 19 degrees. All full moons have an area of influence of four days before and after they appear, but most of them are in the four days AFTER the full moon. Everyone, of every sign, will have frustrations or downright problems with this full moon.
At this emotional time, you may come to the end of your rope in regard to one close partner or situation. This full moon (not connected to Jupiter’s turn direct, which coincidentally will happen on the same day) will bring a nearly opposite message than the one you got June 3. With these mixed messages, this is why I feel that you are thinking of two individuals who are not connected to each other and who play very different roles in your life.
This full moon will be difficult because it conjoins Saturn, forcing you to face up to reality. If you partner does not have the strength of character you had assumed this person had, you will be forced to give up any misguided notions you had about the relationship. Your partner may do or say something that makes you realize this in June, and you may say, “This is it, it is time to leave.” Or, it may be that you believe in your partner, and that this person does have good character, and you both want to enter couple’s therapy. By all means, do this if you feel there is hope for the two of you. Relationships are precious and deserve every chance to survive. If this involves a business relationship, you will have to clear the air and have a talk. If you feel you’ve been trying in vain to get the relationship back on track, this will be the moment of truth. It will be make it or break it time.
Only six days later, on June 14-15, we come to Saturn opposed to the Sun, a frosty, cold aspect that denotes the possibility for separation or problems with a partner that must be addressed. Now there may be an explanation – your partner may have to work in another city half way across the world for many months, a depressing thought. Or, in a very different manifestation of this aspect, it may be that your partner criticizes you in a way you feel is unfair.
Money seems to form part of the discussion, because Mars will have entered your house of jointly held finances earlier, on June 6, to stay until July 4. If you are getting a divorce or are ending a business partnership, for example, you may find that dividing the property or profits at the end to be a bone of contention.
This month, Jupiter, planet of good fortune and Sagittarius’ ruler, will turn direct on June 9, so from then on, you will receive a great deal more support for your dreams.
You will be working extremely hard mid-month, so fatigue might play into your perspective. It will be important that you get enough rest between June 9 and June 15, or you may overreact to challenges that come up.
If your birthday falls on December 14 plus or minus five days, you will feel the opposition of Saturn and the Sun on June 14-15 the most. The same would be true if you have Sagittarius 23 degrees rising. If you are a Sagittarian born in November, or from December 1 to 10, you have already faced your most difficult challenges in 2015 or 2016. I know this by the mathematical orb of Saturn.
We all get these tests from time to time. The good part is, if you see the handwriting on the wall, you will be free to cut the cord. If you are unhappy but feel the union has merit, the changes coming this month will actually help by breaking the deadlock you’ve been dealing with and pave the way back together.
Saturn’s job is to mature you, to help you take on more responsibility. This planet of tough love shows us that we have more strength within that we may have assumed. Saturn also teaches us the value of delaying gratification to achieve a big goal that will form the very foundation of our lives. Saturn usually requires hard work and sacrifice to achieve that goal, and later it will become the achievement you are proudest of having done. Yet Saturn’s tests are never easy, and you have been dealing with them for two-and-a-half years.
If you have to leave a marriage, do not consider this a failure. I feel it takes a great deal of strength and courage to leave a bad situation. Conversely, it takes a lot of courage and forgiveness to try to fix things, so either way, I am with you, Sagittarius. The trick is knowing which path is the best one for you.
You are almost at the end of the challenges of Saturn, dear Sagittarius. Saturn entered Sagittarius for the first time in 29 years on December 24, 2014 and finally will make his exit on December 20, 2017. You will like the change, for you will breathe, and you will feel much more relaxed than you do now. Your tests will be over, and even your health will improve. Saturn has contained your movements and limited your options, but in a little less than six months, you will be free. You won’t have to deal with Saturn’s demands anymore, and Saturn won’t come back to Sagittarius again until 2044. That is right – 2044.
Now let’s get back to the discussions about finances. You will have a fairly friendly new moon, June 23, when four heavenly bodies will fill your eighth house of other people’s money, including Mars (sometimes aggressive, but always full of energy), Mercury (news, agreements, contracts), the Sun (indicates the area your attention will be directed), and new moon (opportunity). The types of funds that you may be thinking about in late month include credit, student loans, venture capital, division of property in a divorce, sponsorship, insurance needs, court settlements, inheritance, mortgage, commissions and royalties, and so forth. In short, the funds that are covered by your eighth house relate to money that comes to you outside of the money you receive as earned income like salary.
It is possible that if you’ve not been able to make an agreement with a partner, or soon to be ex, it may be due to the tough position of Pluto. With Mars in your eighth house, and Pluto standing directly across the skies in your solar second house of earned income at 180 degrees, the person you seem to be dealing with is very strong minded, and uses a scorched earth method of negotiation. In other words, the person you are dealing with is saying, do it my way or take the highway. These two planets are slowly moving through deep space into a direct mathematical opposition on July 2. They will already be close enough to exert tensions at the end of June, so it is possible that the new moon won’t help you enough – if anything the other person may try to manipulate you. You will have to stand your ground.
One or more partners will show their true colors, and at times you may feel sad for you may feel a sense of loss. The possibilities were there when you first talked and came together, but that was then, and this is now. It is always better to be realistic and have truth rather than illusion. I agree that it sure is hard to see when truth comes thundering home. I hope none of this applies to you, dear Sagittarius. Perhaps your birthday does not fall near December 14, or that you have other mitigating factors in your chart that I cannot see. You are known to be an intellectual sign, and you can always rely on your wits and ingenuity when the chips are down.
As you see, this month settles many areas that have frustrated you, and clears the path to a better life. Be glad that things are finally getting settled.
Summary
You will be very focused on a relationship that is important to you, and you have a chance now to open talks about making a commitment whether the relationship is romantic or business in nature. The happy new moon of May 25 last month makes this a good time to bring up your thoughts and to see if your partner has a similar dream involving you.
The weekend of June 3-4 will be made in heaven for you, for your ruling planet, Jupiter, will be in ideal alignment to the Sun, and the transiting moon will be in Libra, a sign that will encourage you to have fun, and to possibly treat yourself to a luxurious experience, such as to stay in a five-star hotel, or plan a magical dinner or spa treatment. In the first four days of June, Venus will still be in Aries, a great place for you, for Venus will tour your true love sector and conjoin surprise-a-minute Uranus. This ensures a lively time for you in very early June whether you are single or attached.
You need to brace for an obstacle that might come up on the full moon in Sagittarius, June 9, when you might have a crisis of confidence about a close relationship. The full moon will come hand in hand with taskmaster Saturn, so you may want to think deeply about your own desires and what you’d like to do next, and whether that involves your present partner. It may be that you are simply having jitters before taking a big step that you really want to take, or something more concerning, such as whether you should leave because you feel you’ve come to the end of the road. This final straw may break the camel’s back now if you learn something about a proposed partner’s character that gives you pause.
Your serious mood will extend until you get past another tough day, June 15 (felt as soon as June 14), when Saturn will oppose the Sun at 180 degrees. Everyone, of every sign, will be feeling touchy and perhaps a bit deflated on this day too. You may be criticized by a partner on this day, and if this should happen, work to get to the kernel of truth, separating out the emotion, if that is possible. (I know, easier said than done.) Do not let yourself become crushed by the words you hear.
Keep your health strong and get enough sleep to deal with any strenuous demands on you that you may notice from June 9-June 15. Sagittarians with a birthday that falls within December 10 to December 17 are more likely to notice pressures mid-month. This is not a time for Sagittarians of any birthday to sign a contract during this period because the clashing of planets would be built into the DNA of the agreement you would forge, and that is not an ideal situation.
Mars will move into Cancer on June 4 to July 20 and will help to bring up talks about funds that you hold with another person or entity. For example, if you are hoping to find the fair way to divide property at the end of a marriage or business, with many planets in Cancer, you will likely focus on a house, land, or other property you might own together. Alternatively, if you are not dividing property, you may talk about a mortgage or a home improvement loan you need from a bank. The part of the chart that will be lit brilliantly also rules money you share with an entity – a lender. Inheritance, taxes, scholarships and university financial aid, venture capital, sponsorship and other such funding may be on your mind and consume time. Still, with Mars in that financial area of your chart, about to aim his guns at Pluto in your other financial sector directly across the skies, you will need to stay on your toes and be the brilliant negotiator you know you are inside.
The talks you have about money in early-to-mid-June might show noticeable and gratifying progress after the new moon of June 23. Pluto, however, is in the opposite house to the buildup of planets in Cancer in your eighth house of other people’s money (described above), and that spells tension. Mars and Pluto will reach perfect opposition July 2. This all means that in case you were hoping for a pushover response from the other party, where all changes you want done to the contract will be rubberstamped and approved in a flash – well, that won’t happen.
Your proposed partner in this financial venture or agreement will have strong opinions about the wording of the clauses, and some clauses will come up and need to be negotiated and changed again and again. Still, you both will apparently be alert and engaged, and that dynamic engagement almost always bodes well for the creation of a contract that will serve you both well.
