This is likely to be a big month for you, so take each day step by step, and in all cases, watch your health. You will be required to work hard and to collaborate with other people in an intense way. As July begins, Mars will be still moving through your workaday sector, indicating you might be working in a seasonal business that explodes with customer / client activity mid-year, perhaps, for example, to get ready to send merchandise to retailers for fall or for the winter holiday shopping. Should your work feel arduous at times this month, keep reminding yourself how lucky you are to have a job. This fast pace started last month on June 4, and will on continue for only three more weeks, until July 20.

If you are out of work and looking for a job, this month brings good news. While you may not be able to find a job that brings you more power and influence than the one you had, you may be happy to find work that is similar to the job you did previously. Early to mid-July will be your best time to look. I feel once you get your foot in the door, your new employer will be impressed with your Aquarian friendliness, your savvy judgement, solid work ethic, and ability to enthuse and befriend others (even as a manger). You will be put on VIPs short list of stars in the making and put on a fast track to success.

You will need to be very organized during this period, as you will need to oversee a great deal of detail. If you want to buy a new computer, iPad or other tablet, smart phone, or other electronic device, or to install new unfamiliar software, buy it now, well ahead of the impending Mercury retrograde August 12 to September 5. Don’t sign a contract during Mercury retrograde – do so now. Avoid buying electronics or signing papers on only one day, July 17, when Mars and Uranus will be having a row.

On July 5, you will have a chance to showcase your imagination with a new project idea, for Neptune (creativity) and the Sun (authority) will trade signals on that day. Because Neptune is residing in your solar second house of earned income, you will have the possibility of making quite a bit of money from the ideas you generate or present on this day. (Add a plus two days to this date, with July 5 being the best.)

Financially, you are likely to hear good news. First, put a star on July 14 when Mercury, the ruler of your eighth house of commissions, bonus, royalties, credit, taxes, and money in accounts receivables that others owe you, will be active, for Mercury will be in sync with good fortune Jupiter. This would be a perfect day to talk about company benefits if you are negotiating a new position, such as for health care, vacation days, tuition matching funds, year-end bonus, and other such perks. Also on July 19, Mercury will be in fine angle to Saturn, indicating a deal you talk about or sign then would stabilize your finances.

    I adore the weekend of July 29-30 for you, when love-me planet Venus will be in Gemini and working closely with your ruler, Uranus In Aries. This should be a magical weekend, filled with surprise, spontaneity, and serendipity.

Going back to the major activity focused on your sixth house from the new moon and Mars in Leo, I feel you may want to commit to the fitness goals you decided on doing last New Year’s Day. I know, life has been busy. The good news is that if you start in early July – even power walking, sports, or bike riding counts – you will be in enviable shape by time you end the year. The new moon of last month, June 23, was actually the finest one of 2017 to begin a fitness program. If you have time later in the month, I want you to check in with your doctor for routine annual tests, see your dentist, have your eyes checked, and women, have a mammogram.

The full moon of July 9 will emphasize rest and privacy, so if you are going away that weekend, July 8-9, try to make it a relaxing one. Also at the full moon, a co-worker may be trying to take credit for all this hard work you’ve been putting in, so keep your antenna up. I don’t want to make you overly worried for no reason – there is only a small possibility this is happening, but I do see it in your solar chart, so I will mention it. If you don’t sense anything on July 9, keep your guard up, and be observant on July 17 too.

July 17 could potentially be the hardest day of the month, when Mars, still in Cancer, will be in sharp, difficult 90-degree angle to Uranus in Aries. Uranus is your ruling planet, so this could be a very tough day for conversation with a co-worker or other person you know at work who is clearly not on your side. What ensues on this day won’t be anything you expect and may catch you off guard. I feel the best way to deal with this day is to keep your head down and out of the line of fire. In other words, don’t look for trouble, keep to yourself, stay cheerful, and don’t do anything that could upset a co-worker.

Now I will turn to the most important portion of the month, the third week and beyond. Mars will start off a big trend, when Mars enters Leo, July 20 until September 5. During that period, you will be working in a one-on-one close way with a partner, at work or in your love life. Your seventh house will be brilliantly lit, and that house rules all contractual relationships. (We often don’t think of marriage as a contract, but it is one.)

To add more intensity to this trend, the new moon will arrive this month on July 23 in Leo at 1 degree and further energize this part of your life. Mercury, Mars, Sun, and new moon will all be in this partnership sector, giving you plenty of opportunity to forge a serious business collaboration. In matters of love, if you are ready to get engaged or married, under this trend, a marriage proposal will likely come up. Mars will be conjunct the Sun at the time of the new moon, a very energizing aspect, so if you are uncertain about how you feel about someone you’ve been dating, you will make a final decision very soon. You will have all the information you need, and with Mars conjunct the Sun at this new moon, you will be motivated to make a choice.

If you were born on January 21, plus or minus five days, you will feel the benefits and changes of the new moon July 23 the most. The same is true if you have Aquarius rising 1 degree or the natal moon at that degree, in all cases plus or minus five degrees. If you have a natal planet in Aquarius, Gemini, or Libra, or Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces, that planet will be lit up and you will notice it to be a busy period with a lot going on after July 23.

Here is another piece of news that is staggering. Next month we will have ANOTHER new moon in Leo, this time on August 21, 29 degrees, in the same partnership part of your chart, and it is coming in the form of a solar eclipse! (All solar eclipses are new moons, but not all new moons are eclipses, of course. We only typically get two solar eclipses a year.) We very rarely get two new moons in the same sign, arriving four weeks apart. This is putting a huge spotlight on your closest relationships, at work and romantically.

This August 21 eclipse will be super-powerful, as all eclipses carry the strength of three normal new moons in one. Solar eclipses open a new door of opportunity and require a bit of adjustment, but with solar eclipses, those are adjustments that you want to make. Eclipses also move up timetables dramatically, so for example, you planned to marry in two years after you saved for a house, but bingo – something happens in the outside world that has nothing to do with anything you did, but that event comes to your doorstep and changes everything. Events like that happen all the time when eclipses come by. Keep in mind solar eclipses usually are very friendly, and this one due August 21 seems sweet as sugar. I don’t expect you will have problems. If your birthday falls on February 18, you will feel the August 21 eclipse the most.

I have an Aquarian friend who is unsure about her feelings for her long-term lover. If you are working on getting a divorce, then this month and next could be bumpy, so try to stay diplomatic and polite, rather than fan the fires of anger, because those fires will be easily ignited. Your ex might make an appearance, too, in this month or next month. Take a deep breath and try to be as civil as possible. This is one month where the cards are not entirely stacked in your favor, and where you will have to do some compromise if you are to be productive.
