You have a big, exciting cosmic event that will take your attention to distant points, thanks to a lunar eclipse that just occurred January 31 in Leo 12 degrees. This eclipse also brilliantly lit your third house of travel and communication, and it is still strong as you enter February. You are likely to be very busy, with a blast of news coming in all at once.
Full moons always stir up lots of activity, but a full moon eclipse has the energy of three full moons rolled into one. Whatever is going on looks like it’s major and important to your future. As the month takes off, you also seem to be working up against a deadline, but don’t worry – you will meet that target if you keep the eye on the ball.
You will feel the effects of the January 31 eclipse during the first week of February, or, if you say not too much is happening, then news will be delayed to the very start of March (February being a short month), as some eclipses deliver their news one month to the day later (plus or minus four days).
This eclipse may find you finishing up a long manuscript, doing a self-promotion mailing, or approving an advertising campaign, seeing your team finish work on your new app, or you may read about yourself in the press – the publicity looks positive. If you are an actor, after auditioning, you may now hear you have won the part. Lots will be going on, and much of it will center on your ability to communicate clearly and in a compelling style.
Your third house, which is so lit up, rules contracts too, so your lawyer may come to you and say a certain document is ready to sign. I say give it a few days after any eclipse to make the final agreement, because so much cosmic dust is kicked up at the time, it’s hard to think – or see – clearly.
It is never wise to make big initiations on the very date of an eclipse if you can help it. Respond but do not initiate – that’s the rule. I realize this is a fine line, but said another way, respond to others’ actions or offers, but don’t plan to initiate the action or offer yourself. If you make an important initiation at or very close to an eclipse, you will find that things don’t go as planned, as with eclipses there is always a twist.
This full moon eclipse of January 31 that lights your third house will also put a spotlight on a member of your family – your sister, brother, or cousin. You may want to make a call to check in for news. Or, it may be that you are doing something with your sibling, such as to take a trip together or rent a vacation cottage for later in the year. There are many possibilities.
I do feel you will do well under this eclipse, because it is falling in Leo, a fire sign that blends beautifully with your air-sign element. Also this eclipse is in perfect angle to Mars in Sagittarius, indicating a middleman, partner, agent, manager, publicist, writing partner, lawyer, spouse, accountant, or other person you collaborate with closely will prove to be a gem. You seem to need this partner to help you see the benefits of this full moon eclipse. (If you are the publicist, agent, or manager, the talent you represent will shine like a diamond, and you will benefit from your association with this person.)
If your birthday falls on June 1, plus or minus five days, you will feel the beneficial effects of this full moon lunar eclipse the most. The same is true if you have Gemini rising or the moon in Gemini, 11 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. If you know your chart, look to see if you have any planet in Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius at 11 degrees or within four degrees of that degree – that planet will be very lit up, so take notes about what happens.
Mars in Sagittarius will remain until March 17, so as you move forward, during the coming weeks you will need to be in collaborative mode. Do not try control things alone – you need to listen to others and integrate their ideas, for this person will be working in your interest.
One day when you should recommend a new creative idea to a VIP would be February 21, when Venus and Neptune will create an enchanting mix, and higher ups will be entranced by your vision.
February 6 should be a standout day, when Venus in Aquarius receives glittering vibrations from Uranus, planet of surprise, now in Aries. Something fun and wonderful is likely to bubble up on this day. Be open to friendship and romance, for Cupid might bring you either, or both.
You are moving toward a very exciting time in your career in March, and you will get clues of the direction things are going and proof that indeed, you are on the right track. Venus is heading to Pisces and your tenth house of fame and honors, indicating that between February 10 and March 6 you will be able to garner all kinds of kudos from higher ups, and the high expectations others have for you will keep on rising. Don’t let that worry you – you can fulfill those expectations.
One day when you should feel good about recommending a creative idea would be February 21, when Venus and Neptune will create an enchanting mix, linking your sixth house of work projects to your tenth house of fame and honors. If ever there were a day when you should feel confident about present your most imaginative ideas, it’s February 21.
On February 13, happy, surprising news or unexpected upbeat events can happen and each of them can make you thrilled. A friend seems to have a part to play in what happens, and you also seem to be in touch with people at a distance or traveling at the time. Spontaneity is the name of the game, and what occurs will be just up your alley.
The big event of the month will be the new moon in Aquarius 27 degrees on February 15. This will trigger more travel, so you may be away at this time. It sure looks that way. If you are not on a distant trip, you may be in talks with executives at a distant point, overseas or in a very distant city. This eclipse is packed with goodies, for the lead planet has to be Uranus (ruler of Aquarius), and Uranus is so sweetly angled to the moon and Sun. Whatever comes up will be unexpected and very exciting – it opens a new road, and it looks like you want to be on it.
Your ninth house will be suddenly energized, and that house rules long-distance travel, work with people at a distance, the entire range of academic matters, and interaction with officials at colleges. This house also rules the media in terms of publishing and broadcasting in all of its forms (including radio and podcasts), and it rules immigration, citizenship, green card, and visa. You will see progress in all of these areas. Finally the ninth house, essentially an intellectual house, rules legal matters too, so you may need to confer with your attorney about a certain matter.

Eclipses always bring a floodlight of truth to the surface, and this time, this will be especially true, for Mars will be at hard angle to Neptune, forcing truth up and out. You may learn an important fact in a casual way when you aren’t thinking you would, but use what you learn to protect your interests.
If your birthday falls on June 18, plus or minus five days, you will be in the center of all activity. The same is true if you have Gemini rising 27 degrees, or the natal moon in Gemini at that same degree, plus or minus five degrees – you too, will benefit from changes and opportunities that come to you after the February 15 eclipse. Do you have a natal planet at 27 degrees Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius? That planet will be lit up and so you will hear lots of news.
This year’s eclipses are almost identical in day and degree to the ones that came by in 1999. Think back to January 31, 1999 and February 15, 1999 eclipses to see what was going on for you back then, for you may be able to glean some clues of what will come up now, even though the other planets surrounding the eclipses will have since changed. The houses in which these eclipses will fall will be the same, however, and that is why it’s worth thinking back.

In a month that seems to have everything, there will be a full moon (not an eclipse) at month’s end, in Virgo 11 degrees, that technically falls just beyond this month, on March 1, casting a warm golden glow on your home and family. This is a sweet full moon, for you can count on Saturn to send comforting, stabilizing vibrations. All that you find yourself doing at this time will lead to a secure and settled feeling that will make you happy.
You may find that month’s end brings moving day, or the date your contractors or painters leave and say the project is finished. Glory hallelujah! A full moon can affect you for four days beyond the full moon to see that finish.
Neptune will oppose this full moon, so be careful of flooding in your home and be sure to have renters or homeowners insurance to protect you in case any type of water damage occurs.
Alternatively, at the time of this full moon, which you will feel building as you get closer to it, you may get good news about a family event – an adorable baby may be born, your sister may get married, your mother and father may move into a new house in a sunny climate, and it will occur to you that you can now visit their paradise home any time you like. If you plan to go a family party, it seems to be magically romantic. I love that Venus and Jupiter will be in the most harmonious position possible, setting off a bewitching vibration. All full moons have a plus or minus four days, making the weekend of March 3-4 special for you. I have mentioned some examples, but you get the idea.
This is due to be a magical, standout month, and one you will long remember.

As you enter February, you are just coming off a lunar eclipse in Leo a day earlier, January 31. A contract may be coming to culmination, and if your lawyer says it is fine to sign, the planets are in agreement, for they are in far better shape than they were in December, so by all means pick up your pen. This full moon is in Leo, a sign that works well with your breezy air element of Gemini, so the results of your talks and this contract should please you.
Always leave a few days space from the date of the signing, for eclipses create a lot of noise and it’s hard to think straight.
There will be a lot going on, so give yourself time to think. Especially at the time of a full moon lunar eclipse, we become impulsive and anxious to act, but things never work out precisely as you assume if you act on the day of an eclipse or within several days, plus or minus.
Travel is also written all over your chart, with a powerful influence stemming from overseas or a very distant city from your home. You may be working on a new project that is about to come up within two weeks after the February 15 eclipse. There may be financial hurdles to get over, for the old antagonists, Uranus and Pluto, that had riled up almost everyone of every sign from 2012-2015, are still too close to a perfect square (denoting obstacles). So, you will need to be careful about spending and investing during the first half of February.
Venus is in your tenth house of professional success, and that will help you sparkle in your career, especially since Jupiter and Venus are building toward a perfect trine on February 15, an astrological term denoting supreme harmony. Jupiter is in your house of day-to-day assignments and new business developments, so clearly, your reputation will precede you as the orders come in.
With the Sun, new moon solar eclipse of February 15, Venus and your ruling planet Mercury, all in Aquarius this month, you will do best by using an untraditional approach. The stars are stacked in your favor, so you should be able to see developments go your way. Uranus holds sway over Aquarius, so everything that comes up will be completely unexpected and work in your interest. You may find yourself at the airport on the way to a very distant, exciting city soon, and while there, will see friends. This will likely be true even if the point of the trip is to see business associates or clients, give a speech, or negotiate deals. Friends will welcome you once you arrive.
Mars is in your seventh house, in ideal angle to Uranus, to be in mathematical perfection on March 10. With each day you will gain more from a partner or middleman. You’ve likely had difficulties with collaborators or a partner in love or business in the recent past, for Saturn was teaching you life lessons through close committed relationships.
