A Note from Susan Miller
dECEMBER 2019
Dear Reader,
I am bursting with excitement, for December will be one of the sweetest, most joyful months of 2019. I can’t wait for you to read all I have to say. It will be a month that has almost everything, including a solar eclipse (no worries, this eclipse will glow with benefits for every sign), a move of Jupiter, the good fortune planet, to a new sign, and a very rare, glorious aspect December 15.
I am excited to announce two new appearances, the first in New York City on Friday, December 6 and one, a month later, in Dallas-Ft. Worth, on January 4, 2020. I will appear in Los Angeles at the Conscious Life Expo in February and will post that information shortly.
Here is the information about my New York and Dallas appearances.

Your Horoscope by Susan Miller
This will be a very quiet month that will allow you time to think about the coming year and to dream about all that you’d like to accomplish. You have a plethora of planets (Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto) crowded in your twelfth house of privacy and solitude, so you may be working on a project that requires a lot of concentration. You may be doing research on a grant or scientific project, for example, or putting the finishing details on a thesis. You might start to write a book or be studying for your law boards. If you are a scientist, you may be working in the lab and be close to a breakthrough (watch December 15 for that).
Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will move into your twelfth house and bring blessings to the activity you choose to do when you are alone, screening out people who distract you. If you are writing that book, for example, it’s sure to be successful—Jupiter will see that your determination and focus will stay strong. Jupiter expands all it touches, so you will see your project in its greatest potential manifestation, rather than its most limited terms.
The twelfth house is also the house of healing, so you might opt to go into therapy to talk over an event or relationship where you feel stuck and unable to move forward. With so many planets in Capricorn, you will learn to see the obstacle in practical, realistic terms and, with the therapist’s help, score a breakthrough in December or January. (January will continue the theme started this month.)
If you are dependent on opioids, joule, cigarettes, or on eating cookies in bed at midnight—no matter what it is—you can also find a way to conquer that habit and end it. The twelfth house is associated with improving your mind, body, and spirit and is strongly linked to the subconscious mind. This month you can go far, if you ask for help.
The stack of Capricorn planets in your secluded twelfth house would also give you the chance to take care of a surgery your doctor has been telling you need. In my life, I have had several surgeries when planets were moving through my twelfth house, just as you do now, and all of those surgeries were successful. Alternatively, December would also be a good time to schedule annual medical exams. Planets in Capricorn emphasize the strength of your bones, teeth, skin, and eye health, so make sure to get exams covering these areas on your list.
This month, on December 2, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will enter Capricorn, the most private and meditative part of your chart. This is the place in the horoscope that echoes the womb, the place you inhabited before you were born. In a horoscope, it marks the end of a long cycle and the preparation of an exciting new one.
There are other possibilities. You may be having a series of confidential talks about a new job that offers plenty of opportunity to take on more responsibility. The new position would be one of influence, creativity, and power. The reason I say this is such a good possibility is that Mars, the action planet, first entered your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement last month on November 18 and will continue to energize this area of your chart until January 3.
Keep this list of possibilities I just gave you for the month in mind, because after I discuss Mars’ fabulous help to you in your quest for career this month, I will return to discuss the sweet new moon solar eclipse due on December 25-26. That eclipse will reemphasize all the topics that I have discussed above, involving mental and physical health, working in solitude, reflecting on goals, and concerning having to keep mum, such as with a new product launch.
Now let’s turn to the superb opportunities you will have for your career—they are shining like diamonds!
Having Mars in your prestigious professional sector tells me this is an ideal time to interview for a position. Last month, Mars’ little brother Mercury was retrograde, messing things up like Wrecker Ralph, but this month, you will have an open road, without any of the frustrating delays and aggravations you experienced in November. In fact, December could turn out to be the very best month in two years to interview for a top position. It has been two years—not since December 9, 2017, to January 26, 2018—that have you enjoyed such staunch help from Mars in your career matters.
Many planets are in Capricorn this month. Venus will remain there until December 19, and Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn will stay in Capricorn through 2020. Add the Sun after December 20, and on December 25/26, the new moon solar eclipse, so all the focus in your life will be on all the topics I already mentioned at the start of your report as well as an unusual financial theme emphasis. Taurus (where Uranus is orbiting now) and Scorpio (the sign Mars is in now, lighting your career sector) are all big money signs. Indeed, Capricorn, Taurus, and Scorpio are considered key financial signs of the zodiac. Cancer is too—and Cancer is where the lunar eclipse will fall next month on January 10. This tells me you might be interviewing for a job that focuses on money markets or the selling of goods or services.
This avalanche of financial signs in December and January could also mean you might be overseeing budgets as part of your job. If you are a journalist, you could be reporting on money markets. You might be a trader or stockbroker, or if you are a producer working in TV, you might be charged with the task of presenting financial trends clearly to the public,
Mars is the natural ruler of your third house of contracts, so you might be working to finish an agreement and the details of a deal—be sure to get it all in writing. It might be you are interviewing or negotiating for a new position, or perhaps you are about to sell a large order to bring in a new client.
There will be several days this month that could bring happy news for career-related meetings.
On December 3, you will make a fine impression at an interview, for on this day, Mars will make a shimmering aspect to Venus in your behind-the-scenes sector.
If you might be hired to generate ideas or work on art or design projects, choose to meet on December 13, when Mars and Neptune will cook up a perfect atmosphere to display the depth of your creativity.
On December 19, Mars and Saturn will be aligned, and you will be able to make a lasting pact with a client or boss about a future venture.
Finally, on December 22, Mars in your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement will be in conversation with Pluto in your confidential sector. You will impress a powerful VIP at the firm who has been pulling for you. Write a thank you note for a previous meeting, or have a meeting the day prior to Friday, December 20, for you will see things go well!
All the trends will pop forth and become visible at the new moon solar eclipse, December 25/26. This is a gorgeous eclipse, for it comes packed with goodies and encouraging, brilliant aspects. Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will arrive in conjunction with this new moon solar eclipse—an alignment that is so beautiful it took my breath away when I saw it. All solar eclipses have the strength of three normal new moons packed into one, but this one is like Santa’s sack—filled with gifts for you (and some are financial).
The solar eclipse will appear on December 25 in the United States and South America, and on the following day, December 26, for readers living in other time zones and nations of the world.
This December 25/26 eclipse will fall in your twelfth house, and if my earlier examples of how the eclipse might affect you didn’t resonate with you, it may be that the eclipse will present a new secret project that you will begin work on that you will not be able to tell anyone about—not until it is ready to be launched to the world. You may even have to sign confidentiality papers.
The project could be someone else’s or yours—it does not matter how the project comes into being, only that you will work on it. If you are interviewing for a new position, you will need to keep all elements secret and away from prying eyes.
I also love that your ruler, Uranus, the planet of surprise, will send a perfect beam to that eclipse, bringing out-of-the-blue news you’d never expect, but all of it seems to be very positive.
Directly after the eclipse, on December 27, we have the Luckiest Day of the Year when the Sun and Jupiter will align perfectly. Again, this will occur in your twelfth house of secrets, so it seems you will have a secret that will make you very happy.
Before I go on to another topic, I have another piece of chocolate for you.
On Sunday, December 15, we will have a spectacular aspect that affects you directly. Jupiter at 3-degrees Capricorn will be in ideal angle to your ruler, Uranus, in Taurus, also at three degrees. This is a very rare aspect that brings hope, optimism, joy, and electric unexpected good news.
To give you an idea of how special, even miraculous, this aspect can be, I will tell you a little story. A man recently wrote to me on my website. We read every letter, so Courtney, my executive assistant, instantly showed it to me. It seems this man is writing a book about the moon landing on July 20, 1969. He said some of his colleagues told him to call me to see what the stars were saying for that day.
If you recall, the moon landing brought some scary last minutes before actually touching down on the moon. Running low on fuel, Commander Neil Armstrong only had a few minutes to find a suitable spot to land, but he was finding only rocky terrain that was inappropriate to settle down on. He kept moving over the moon’s surface, and with only six seconds of fuel left, he found the ideal spot and landed.
I asked the man how the crew came home if they only had six seconds of fuel left? He explained that the engineers had worked out how much fuel the astronauts could use going up and how much they would need to return to earth. They had not touched the return-to-earth amount of fuel.
I asked what time the men landed, and he said 20:17 UTC, but the men stayed inside the spacecraft for 6 hours and 39 minutes. Neil Armstrong stepped on the surface of the moon technically the next day, July 21, at 2:56 UTC. After that, Buzz Aldrin departed the spacecraft and stepped on the moon 19 minutes later.
I was finding this conversation fascinating. When I opened my computer to set up the chart for the moon landing, my first words to the writer of this saga were wait, the date they chose to go to the moon was so perfect astrologically, it seemed like NASA had help from astrologers (but of course, this was unlikely!) In that case, I have to chalk this up to Divine intervention. This chart for the moon landing is truly remarkable, for it revealed outstanding harmony among the planets, but especially, on that day, good-fortune Jupiter was conjunct Uranus and the transiting moon, all in air-sign Libra in the assertive and pioneering 0-degree of a cardinal sign (Libra).
The reason I told you this story is that this month, on December 15, Jupiter and Uranus will be in a rare trine position, something I would call the next best aspect, creating pure harmony. Uranus is your ruling planet, so this day matters very much to you, and you can benefit from it. What a fortunate day this will be for you! Give it a plus or minus two days.
Some Aquarians have had difficulty finding an apartment or had trouble with a contractor who is working on their home. If this describes you, start to try to fix the situation early in the month, for by December 15, you may hit on a settlement. If you want to offer what you feel is a fair compromise, and at the same time save you future legal fees, then tender an offer. You may be shocked to see a pleasing resolution on December 15.
On this day, December 15, plus or minus one day, you also will have luck with family matters. Your parents or those you think of as parents will likely support your goals wholeheartedly, and possibly even help you financially, such as to contribute part of your down payment on a house or condo. Overall, your family will be happy for you.
In a different manifestation, if you have been trying to find a suitable living arrangement for the care of a beloved aging parent, either by having an aide live with your mother or father or by placing one or both of your parents in a friendly assisted-living facility, then look into your options at this time. Home and family-related matters will go well over December 15, plus or minus two days. This will not happen in similar fashion until April 2024 (conjunction) or October 2028 (trine, like we have this month). As you see, this is rare!
I have another day for you! On December 30, Mercury and Uranus will be in supremely friendly alignment, bringing more good luck to home and family-related goals. If you don’t succeed in advancing a home or family matter on December 15, try again on December 30. This would be a superb day to look at new spaces, move, or buy furniture. I feel you can leave this month and 2019 with a good solution to a home or family-related goal.
Finally, in matters of love, you will do best when Venus enters Aquarius on December 19, to stay until January 13, 2020. That means Venus will be there to amplify the joy you feel this holiday season. Wonderful!
The time from December 19 to January 3 will be a great time to buy new clothes and find ways to refresh your appearance, for Venus will see to it that you find beautiful wardrobe options and will enjoy the results of experts you hire (hairstylist, esthetician, barber, Botox doctor, and so forth).
Finally, the full moon of December 11 will light your house of truelove! This full moon, falling in divine-for-Aquarius Gemini 20 degrees, will light your fifth house and bring you such happiness. You may meet your one truelove at a holiday party, or a friend may set you up on a blind date that clicks magnificently! If you have been dating seriously, be ready to get engaged or wed. Another way this full moon may work out is that you may learn you are pregnant or, if you are at term, actually deliver your baby at this time.
What a wonderful month, dear Aquarius! You must be so excited!
SUMMARY
This month is a little different from the rest you’ve seen this year. With planets piling up in your twelfth house of solitude, you seem to have a need to be alone more than usual so you can think, and strategize, about the year ahead. That’s a good idea, for you are to enter one of the best years of your life one year from now, starting December 19, 2020, for twelve months.
To enjoy it to the fullest, you will need to think about what is working in your life now, and what needs to go. Think about your goals, and start to dismantle the parts that no longer excite you. If you don’t go through this process, when good-fortune planet Jupiter enters Aquarius a year from now, you won’t have any room in your life to accept the goodies Jupiter will have to give you. Jupiter is the giver of gifts and luck and only comes by once every 12 years to Aquarius for a year’s stay. You need to be ready for it!
In 2020, Jupiter in this house will bring your guardian angel—not the kind of angel you see in Disney cartoons, but a real-life VIP who will notice your good work and want to go out on a limb to help you.
The full moon may bring you a tender episode for romance, December 11, plus four days. That full moon will be in your house of truelove. Rather than love, you may be focused on your desire to have a baby. You might start the in vitro fertilization process, find out you are expecting, or give birth to your baby now. If you have children, one will make you proud at this full moon. This will be the only full moon of the year to brilliantly light your solar fifth house of truelove.
You seem to be thinking quite a bit about your home or other property you might own. If you hope to move or fix up your present digs, you might hear sudden, happy news that will help you advance your plans over the weekend of December 14-15. It is also possible you will decide to move in with your sweetheart. There are many possibilities for you to look into if you want to make your home more comfortable.
This may be holiday season and a hard time to address home-related matters, but if you do, you may get a bargain on a lease or purchase of an apartment or house. Alternatively, you may find the ideal furniture you’ve long hoped for at a great price, possibly on sale. If you’ve been in a dispute with a contractor, you may suddenly get a chance to resolve the matter. This comes as a result of Uranus in perfect alignment to Jupiter, now in Capricorn. Uranus is your ruling planet, so when something big happens with Uranus, which will occur over December 14-15, that’s important news for you.
You are fortunate this month that you have Mars in your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement, a trend that started last month on November 18 and will continue until January 3. While Mars is in this area of your chart, you will find it easier than usual to get your foot in the office of a high-level person who can help you advance. You won’t host Mars in your prestigious tenth house again for two more years, not until November 2021, so while you have Mars here, you can make great progress. If you are hoping for good career news, it may come on Friday, December 20, or Monday, December 23, as a result of Mars’ conversation with powerhouse Pluto. Be ready!
The biggest moment for you will come at the new moon solar eclipse December 25/26 (depending on your location), when sudden, happy news that comes from out of left field will make you jump for joy. You seem to have a secret, and no one, no matter how they try, will be able to pry it out of you. News will be personal and something you might not want to share with others quite yet. It could be that you become engaged or wed now, or that you are expecting a baby—either of which would be very exciting news. Or you may be working on a secret product launch that is so important you’ve had to sign confidentiality papers.
Very closely following the eclipse, the Sun and Jupiter will conjoin on December 27, making for the Luckiest Day of the Year and ensuring a very happy end of 2019.
If you are not dating and not about to marry anyone, then it could be a business associate that you work with one-on-one that is the bearer of good news. To unlock your good news, it seems you need an intermediary, such as a business partner, agent, publicist, or, in the romantic sense, it could be your steady partner or spouse. You have a great month ahead, dear Aquarius—make the most of it!
