You might already know that I love posting on Twitter (@AstrologyZone), and I am also on Facebook (Susan Miller’s Astrology Zone). What is new is that in December, I added Instagram to my regular social media posts (@Astrologyzone). I have been having fun reading your comments and seeing how the planets are influencing your life.  I had joined Instagram in 2012, but in intervening years I had not been posting there, but now I am enjoying going on Instagram almost every day.

This month will emphasize money, and you will be eager to balance your ledgers so you can feel good about getting things in apple-pie order. Knowing how much money is due to come in and who you still owe makes you organized. After this month, money management won’t be a pressing concern. This month, though, both the new and full moons will be all about money, so although as a Pisces you would rather focus on creative work, a focus on money seems necessary now.

The new moon in Aries, 15 degrees, arrives first. This new moon will light your earned income sector (second house) on April 5, providing you with ten days of superb energy to make your move for a raise. The closer you act on or after April 5, the better, as the energy of the new moon is always strongest then, and then as it moves toward the full moon becomes increasingly weaker. By the time the lovely new moon is in range of the full moon (three days prior), she will have spent her energy and will bow out to give the full moon the right-of-way.

April represents the perfect time to find ways to increase your income. If you feel you are due a raise and you work for others, this would be the right time to make your case to a VIP. If you are self-employed, start an advertising or publicity campaign. If you are active on social media, this would be the time to promote all of your latest accomplishments. Promote your posts that appear to be popular with your followers. Devise a direct mail campaign, and go for the gold. If you have a publicist, this is the month you want her or him to book you on shows so you can share your knowledge and let people know about your recent successes.

This new moon does set up an obstacle, however. Saturn will be in hard, 90-degree angle to the Sun and new moon, so you may have to cut back on social fun to pay those you owe. Participation in social events or a vacation may be too expensive now, considering what else is going on in your life.

Jupiter, planet of good fortune, will be watching what is going on, and from his perch in your lofty solar tenth house of career honors, awards, and achievements, he will send glittering vibrations. Jupiter will be within a nine-degree orb of a harmonious trine, which is a little far but still within the area of significance. Although I wish the aspect were a little tighter, I feel Jupiter will be close enough to bring you luck. You should do all you can to increase your income, for the new moon and Jupiter will set up a link between your earnings (second house) and your career reputation (prestigious tenth house), and that is the best indication possible that you may see an uptick in income.

You will have a set of superb financial days due between Friday, April 12, and Sunday, April 14, when the Sun and Jupiter will be in exact, tight mathematical alignment, a fabulous development. If you work on weekends, Saturday, April 13, will be your very best day—worthy of four stars. Do what you can to generate sales or interest in your goods or services over that weekend, if applicable. These days are the happiest and most encouraging of April for everyone, and for you, they spell money.

Do you know the song, She Works Hard for the Money? This will be your theme song in April and May. (If you are a guy, this applies to you too, of course. Just substitute “he” for “she.”) Saturn and Pluto will press on that April 5 new moon, indicating that the assignments will be strenuous and detailed. You will have to concentrate without distraction, but you will be proud of the work you do, and best of all, what you accomplish, with Saturn the taskmaster watching all you do, you will get to keep a long time. For example, if you generate new clients or customers, they will stay with you a long time, for this is one of the hallmarks of Saturn. Saturn will make you work hard and may also ask you to sacrifice in favor of reaching your goal, but you will later be repaid handsomely by Saturn. Also, Saturn will make you cognizant of the importance of knowing your priorities and acting in such a way that shows you are honoring them.

    In matters of love, you are lucky to have Venus in Pisces from prior to April 1 to April 19. Single or married, this will be your very best time to enjoy romance. Within that period, I love Tuesday, April 9 for you when Venus in Pisces will align perfectly with Neptune in Pisces, producing a glamorous, enchanting evening for you to enjoy.

The full moon will light your solar eighth house of other people’s money, ruling such things as taxes, insurance premium payments, student loans, mortgage or rent, college tuition for you, or camp fees for your child. The problem with this full moon will be that Uranus, the planet of all things completely unanticipated, will oppose the moon and be conjunct the Sun. (This will be an out-of-sign conjunction, with the Sun and full moon at 29 degrees Aries and Uranus at two degrees Taurus, so there is only a tiny three-degree spread, in my book a near-perfect conjunction and opposition to the full moon.) This could bring up a very jarring, unexpected expense. All full moons have a plus or minus four-day circle of influence from the date it appears, so this full moon of April 19 is within range of tax day, April 15, in the US. I feel many people, particularly the Pisces and Virgos, will be upset by what they will owe under the new tax laws.

If you file for an extension, the rules are, I am told, that you must send the amount you owe by April 15, or if you don’t know, at least send the amount you sent last year. Pisces often is self-employed, so it is always doubly hard for a self-employed person to anticipate the final tax they will owe until their return is done. If you are confronted with a bill that makes you jittery (and it does not have to be taxes), know that you have help coming.

This time, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck and also known as the planet of miracles, will be in a perfect position to help that full moon—in other words, Jupiter will be in a far better position than he was earlier in the month to come to your aid. Jupiter will remain in your tenth house of prestigious career success until December 2, 2019, and at the full moon April 19 will send a mathematically tight, well-directed golden beam to that full moon and at the same time to the Sun in your salary/fee sector. I think if you do get a big bill, you will be relieved to hear that a big job will be coming through, which tells me you will likely have the money to cover it. Or you may have turned in great work earlier, and the payment will come in now, just in the nick of time.

Jupiter will be what astrologers call sextile to the moon, and that translates into an opportunity for you—it will be up to you to pluck the plum from the tree branch. Also, Jupiter will be trine the Sun, and a trine is the most harmonious, happiest aspect possible. Since the Sun rules your solar sixth house, I feel you will likely get an important assignment. With Jupiter positioned in your tenth house, that job is likely to be very prestigious—and pay you well, too.

Now let’s switch to the topic of your living quarters and family life. Active Mars is now touring your fourth house of home, a place he took up on March 30, so you will be very focused on your private life. You may be moving, redecorating, de-cluttering, or making repairs. You may have called in the painters or planned to buy a beautiful new piece of furniture or a rug.

If you are not making changes to your house or apartment, you would be thinking about your parent or another member of your family, such as your sister, brother, cousin, or grown child, for example. One close relative may be making family news now. In that respect, you may enjoy being enveloped in the warmth you feel of family, a cozy feeling.

If your mom needs help setting up auto-pay on her computer or your father needs help reorganizing the garage, you will want to lend a hand. Perhaps a family member will be welcoming a new baby, or one of the children in the family may reach a milestone (such as a baby starting to walk or, for an older nearly grown child, getting a letter of admission to a good college). It’s possible your sister might come up with the idea of sharing the cost of a summer cottage you can rent together.

You can accomplish a lot in terms of family matters from the start of April through May 15. When the new moon arrives in your home sector in two months on June 3, there will be still more opportunity to make changes in your living quarters or to enjoy family life. Keep in mind a new moon opens a portal of powerful energy that will last ten days. Depending on how you use that powerful period, your actions can have the power to change your life for the better in the coming year (or more)—use it or lose it! In astrology, when you act is very important.

April 22 is another date to watch. This time, surprise, spontaneous travel may come up, or you may receive a surprise text, email, or letter. I say this because Uranus will be aligned perfectly with the Sun at two degrees Taurus, your third house of communication and travel.

A contract may also be presented, but even though Taurus blends beautifully with your Pisces Sun, I would suggest you wait to sign until May 2 when Jupiter will shower Mercury (agreements) with good fortune. If your birthday falls on February 21, or within two days of that date, Uranus will be your friend and will likely bring happy surprises on April 22. I cannot see everything in your unique chart from where I sit, but I do know if your birthday is on or close to February 21, chances are, you will like the opportunity that comes up out of the blue. Does your birthday fall later in the sign of Pisces? Uranus will eventually arrive to conjoin your Sun , so you have much to look forward to in the coming seven years. I will keep you posted.

If you are looking for a new job, keep in mind that Jupiter will be retrograde from April 10 until August 11. During this period, consolidate your gains, and go back to clients who have always believed in you to thank them for their powerful belief in you. Work on a new product or service that you will launch at the very end of August or in mid-September, your very best time to do so, for by then, Jupiter will be back to moving direct. I looked at the aspects falling at the end of August and September—they are superb.

If you like, you can also use the first three weeks of April to go shopping to find some new things to wear—you are likely to find any new outfit to be madly flattering. It does not matter if you are a man or a woman, you will find the perfect fashionable items to buy, for Venus in Pisces will work hard to make sure you do.

You will be quite focused on money this month, thanks to a new moon April 5 in the pioneering sign of Aries, your second house of personal finances. You seem to want to enjoy the money you earn, but Saturn will remind you that you have certain obligations to cover first before you can spend on social fun or things to wear. This may frustrate you, but this month, remaining financially conservative will be your best course of action, at least until you see what comes up later in the month.

The full moon on April 19 could bring a shock from an invoice or report from your accountant about additional taxes you owe, and whatever it is, it is news that you never saw coming. Do your best to get your tax return done early in April, weeks before this full moon arrives. While a different sizable expense might come up (outside of taxes), it may not distress you as much as you have felt in previous Aprils. For years, you had difficult aspects in April regarding money, but those are starting to fade as Uranus moves deeper into compatible Taurus. Your future for making money certainly does look bright.

It’s alternatively possible that rather than pay out a sum near that troublesome April 19 full moon, you may be told that money you expected won’t arrive as promised, either temporarily or not at all. It might have to do with a financial court settlement awarded in your favor, a wire from a venture capital investor for your business, or a tax refund that turns out to be much less than you expected. To prepare for this eventuality (should it come up), think about finding contingency funds to bridge you over this period until you can be paid what is owed.

Don’t be too anxious, however, because at this full moon you have superb aspects for scoring a major victory in your career and to see spectacular acclaim for your work well done at the same time as the troublesome April 19 full moon. Miracle-worker Jupiter, touring your tenth house of prestigious career achievements, will send a breathtaking beam (a perfect trine) to the transiting Sun in your second house of earned income, indicating that good news about money is possible if you look for it. At the same time, Jupiter will send what is called a sextile, an opportunity aspect, to the full moon in your eighth house of money. A few days before, from Friday, April 12, to Sunday, April 14, you also have sensational aspects for financial news, so make them work for you.

You have not had time to think about improving your home, but Mars entered that sector on March 30 and will remain until May 15 for the first time in two years, so now you can accomplish a lot. You can find a new apartment, make repairs, hire the contractors, or find a new roommate if that is a goal—there’s lot you can do so dust off your wish list. Or you might direct Mars’ energy to enjoy more time with your family, including your parents. One family member may be giving birth to a baby, which will draw every member of the family together in a warm cocoon. It’s amazing that a tiny little bundle of life can bring so much joy.

In matters of love, you are one of the most favored of all signs this month. As you enter April, Venus will have already arrived in Pisces and is set to stay until April 20. Venus is considered exceptionally strong and loving in Pisces, giving you a double dip of happiness. Whether you are single or married, use this time to be out and about socially and to make more time for romance. If you have already found your one truelove, then have fun together, just like when you first met. A weekend away together would be ideal—choose April 6-7, or April 13-14, for they look special.

Your finest, most heavenly night for romance, whether you’re single or married, will be April 9, when love-me Venus will align with your ruler, Neptune, planet of unconditional love. This evening will have the potential to be quite magical, so even though it falls on a Tuesday, meet your one-and-only for a wonderful dinner and celebrate the love you feel for each other.
