台灣總統就職

「美國祝賀賴清德先生就任並成為台灣第五位民選總統。我們也恭賀台灣人民再次展現其
民主體制的強健與堅韌。

美國人民與台灣人民之間的夥伴關係根植於民主價值，無論是在貿易、經濟、文化還是人
民之間的情誼等面向都持續擴展與深化。

美國感謝蔡英文總統在過去八年任內強化美國與台灣之間的關係。

我們期待與賴總統以及橫跨台灣政治光譜的夥伴攜手合作，一同追求我們共同的利益和價
值，深化我們長久以來的非官方關係，並維持台海的和平穩定。」

Taiwan’s Presidential Inauguration

The United States congratulates Dr. Lai Ching-te on his inauguration as Taiwan
’s fifth democratically elected president.  We also congratulate the Taiwan p
eople for once again demonstrating the strength of their robust and resilient
democratic system.

The partnership between the American people and the Taiwan people, rooted in d
emocratic values, continues to broaden and deepen across trade, economic, cult
ural, and people-to-people ties.

The United States commends President Tsai Ing-wen for strengthening ties betwe
en the United States and Taiwan over the past eight years.

We look forward to working with President Lai and across Taiwan’s political s
pectrum to advance our shared interests and values, deepen our longstanding un
official relationship, and maintain peace and stability across the Taiwan Stra
it.

「美國祝賀賴清德先生就任並成為台灣第五位民選總統」

也就是在美國的定義中，ROC政權已經不存在了

台灣從1996年總統民選開始，成為一個主權獨立的國家

台灣如果不再是ROC，聯合國2758號決議自然跟台灣無關

這樣解讀應該沒錯吧？
