During his visit to the Change Your Brain Every Day podcast, the three-time
All-Star revealed that he gave up smoking marijuana after being traded from
the Knicks to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
在受訪時，這三屆全明星說在他從尼克交易到灰狼後，他就戒抽大麻了。

He said the decision has sharpened his focus and improved his mental health.
他說他做這個決定是為了讓他更專心，而且要改善他的心理健康。

"It's definitely tough in today's world," Randle said around the 28-minute
mark in the video above. "I think it's so important to have a clear mind and
being able to be strong mentally without anything influencing you as far as a
substance, or a voice or whatever. Being able to sort your own thoughts out."
「現在這個世界真的很難。我認為，要跟那些物質或者聲音保持距離，不要讓那些東西
來影響心理，好維持心靈清明跟強健的心理是很重要的，要能夠整理自己的想法。」

Randle admitted that smoking often pulled him away from reality, making him
less present with those closest to him:
Randle承認說呼麻讓他脫離現實，也讓他跟他的親密家人產生了疏離。

"It made me distant and not present. I'd kinda just be in my own world and
I'm like, 'No, I'm fine.' Like this is what it is," Randle said. "My wife
would be like 'No, you're just not present. We're having a conversation and
you're not really present.'"
「呼麻讓我脫離現實，我像是只活在自己世界，就覺得自己很好沒問題。我太太跟我說，
『不，你只是脫離現實，我們在講話，但是你沒有參與。』」
