再見 ，職業網壇。

致一段只帶著指南針的航行 —

這本來應該是一個有點感傷的時刻，
但不知道為什麼，腦海裡浮現的卻都是那些讓人忍不住微笑的畫面。

我一直都不太擅長說再見，
尤其是要跟一個陪了我30年的夢想道別。

網球在我6歲的時候走進了我的人生，
沒想到就這樣一路陪著我，走到了36歲。

很幸運在我的父母的支持下能夠為自己的夢想勇敢
並走過一段這麼特別的旅程，一路上有好多好多幫助我支持我的人們，想到這裡就忍不住
紅了眼眶。

選擇做為一位職業運動員，本身就是一條沒有任何保證的路。
沒有人承諾一定會成功，也根本沒有回頭路
拿到的每一個獎盃，也都會被下一週開始的新賽事拋在腦後。

雖然大家往往都看見運動員彷彿享受著勝利的快感、過著華麗的人生。
確實網球也帶我走過許多高潮迭起的時刻，也帶領我看見了更大的世界。

但在每一場比賽的背後，
其實都是一個很少被看見的人生——

日日枯燥乏味的訓練、永無止境的時差，還有一次又一次的長途飛行
半夜醒來，分不清自己身在世界哪一個角落的旅館房間。

網球帶給我的，從來不只是如何贏球。
它也教會我怎麼跌倒、怎麼再站起來，
還有在全世界都不相信你的時候，依然堅持繼續相信自己。

那些孤單、那些不被理解、
那些因為要求完美的鑽牛角尖、
那些想盡辦法卻也無法控制的時刻，
一點一滴，都讓我更認識自己，
從懷疑中找到確信，也把我塑造成今日的我。

從國內第一場青少年比賽，
到國際頂尖職業賽場。

披上了中華隊戰袍、
拿下了心中夢幻的獎盃、
跟兒時偶像一同並肩作戰、
登上世界第一的寶座。
有狂喜、有平靜、有踏實、也有鬆了口氣。

雖然過程當中，因為身體的限制，不得不放棄某些目標，但能夠在這樣子的限制之下
完成自己所能夠達到的最高點，已經感到非常的幸運。
在轉身的這一刻，我的網球職業生涯在我心中沒有留下任何遺憾。

這一路上所有相信我、支持我、
看著我長大的人們有太多太多，
不論是陪我走過一小段或是陪我走到生涯最後的你們，我都獻上無限的感謝。

謝謝我的家人、
謝謝每一位搭檔、團隊夥伴、
謝謝每一位貴人、每個贊助商，
最後我要感謝這片土地、感謝台灣滋養我，
做為我的後盾、做為我迷航時候的燈塔。

這是一趟沒有地圖的航行，
每一條路，都由探索而生
因為你們，才能變得如此精彩。

我正式宣布，從職業網球選手身分退役。
這一週也將在澳網舉辦退休儀式，
14歲時我在澳網拿下青少女組雙打冠軍
開啟了我的職業網球之路。
因此，這段旅程的結尾，意義非凡

期待人生的下一個篇章，
能夠有能力、有榮幸，
為年輕一代付出、傳承。
在那之前，
我也會更努力準備好自己，
迎接第二人生。

這不是道別，我也不會走遠，
更是期待自己用別的方式歸來。

Goodbye, professional tennis.

To a voyage that began with nothing but a compass —

This was supposed to be a sentimental moment,
but for some reason, all I can think about are the memories that make me smile
.
I’ve never been good at goodbyes,
especially when it’s to a dream that’s been with me for 30 years.

Tennis entered my life when I was 6,
and somehow, it stayed by my side all the way to 36.

I feel so lucky to have had my parents' support to chase my dream bravely.
Thinking about this special journey and the so many people who helped me along
 the way, I can't help but get a bit choked up.

Choosing to be a professional athlete is a path with no guarantees.
No one promises success, and there’s no turning back.

Every trophy you win is quickly left behind the moment a new tournament starts
 next week.
People often see athletes enjoying the rush of victory or living a glamorous l
ife.

And it’s true—tennis has taken me through incredible highs and showed me the
 world.

But behind every match,
there is a side of life that is rarely seen—
The repetitive daily training, the endless jet lag, and flight after long-haul
 flight.
Waking up at midnight in a hotel room, not knowing which corner of the world I
’m in.

Tennis never just taught me how to win.
It taught me how to fall, how to get back up,
and how to keep believing in myself when the rest of the world doesn't.

The loneliness, the feeling of being misunderstood,
the obsession with perfection,
and those moments where I tried everything but still lost control.

Bit by bit, these experiences helped me know myself better.
They turned doubt into certainty and shaped who I am today.

From my first junior tournament at home,
to the top professional stages in the world.

Wearing the Chinese Taipei jersey,
holding the trophies I once dreamed of,
playing alongside my childhood idol,
and reaching World No. 1.

There was euphoria, peace, fulfillment, and also a sense of relief.

Even though physical limits forced me to let go of certain goals,
I feel incredibly lucky to have reached my personal peak despite those constra
ints.

In this moment as I turn to leave, I have no regrets in my professional career
.

To the so many people who believed in me, supported me,
and watched me grow—
whether you walked with me for a short while or stayed until the very end, tha
nk you from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you to my family,
to every partner and team member,
to every mentor and sponsor.

Finally, I want to thank this land—thank you Taiwan, for nurturing me,
for being my backbone, and for being the lighthouse when I was lost at sea.

This was a voyage without a map;
every path was created through exploration.
And because of you all, it became so wonderful.

I officially announce my retirement from professional tennis.

My retirement ceremony will be held this week at the Australian Open.
It was here, at the age of 14, where I won the Junior Girls' Doubles title, la
unching my career.
Coming back here to say goodbye is a true full circle moment for me—it means
the world to end this journey right where it all began.

I look forward to the next chapter of my life,
hoping to have the ability and the honor
to empower and inspire the younger generation.

Before then,
I will try to enjoy life a bit,
While focusing on preparing myself to embrace my "second life."

This isn't a final goodbye, and I won't be far away.
I look forward to coming back in a different way.
