Science Now上，有考古學家將司徒加特附近挖掘出三萬五千年的象牙雕刻視為是最早的色情圖像。因為這雕刻的造型有誇大的乳房與外陰，研究成員之一的保羅梅拉斯在Nature上宣稱這是是「色情的」，而Nature甚至為此下標「史前性感畫報」。

這重演了維倫多爾夫的維納斯那時的雙重標準。裸體懷孕女性的古代雕塑被那些邪笑著的男性人類學家詮釋為色情圖像；但同樣具有突出男性性徵者卻被視為神祇或薩滿，甚至是獵人與戰士。這難道不奇怪嗎？
 
考慮到舊石器時代的陽具圖像至少是兩萬八千年以前，而全世界的新石器時代文物都有著巨大勃起的陽具，古文明幾乎充斥著男性生殖器，從印度的林伽（濕婆化現的陰莖）、埃及的奔奔石（神的精子；Benben有射精或者著床的意思）到希臘赫姆神柱（Herm）。羅馬人甚至將陽具畫在自家門上，或掛著陽具的項鍊以求好運。
 
但卻沒人將這這些骨好老的陽具圖像詮釋為色情圖樣，反而理解其中指出對男性生殖能力的虔敬。舉例來說，沒有人影射拉斯科洞窟壁畫裡的男性是色情畫報，只推測他是薩滿。這許許多多新石器時代強調陰莖的人形都被詮釋為神祇。人盡皆知，這些在印度、埃及、希臘與羅馬的古老陽具代表生殖與護衛的偉大神權。

但女性裸體的人形──給予新生命的女性，外陰呈現待產的樣子，胸部飽滿，準備以乳汁哺育下一代──卻被視為色情圖像，只是用來讓男性打手槍而已。
 
不是沒有別的詮釋方向，畢竟歐洲舊石器時代的充滿了類似這樣的孕婦雕塑。到了新石器時代，裸體的懷孕女性甚至腳下有著獅子以示其地位尊崇，顯然當時人們有某種女神信仰。

然而在Scinece Now的文章裡，這個考古學家指其為色情的產物：「我把這個秀給我的男性同事看，結果他的反應是『這四萬年間人類都是一樣的嘛』。」這句話應該被裱框懸掛起來，沒有比這更能凸顯以今度古的謬誤。
 
古學家假設創作雕塑的人是男性，為什麼？他妄定雕塑的動機緣於肉慾，為什麼？因為這就是他只知道這個。在他心中，大胸部、露出陰部的裸女只代表一件事情：色情！由男性所創、為了男性而產生的色情代表物！而他毫不懷疑自己的武斷認知，認定三萬五千年前與現今沒有兩樣。「裸體女性」在他腦袋中沒有任何其他分類，他的腦袋就是個封閉的盒子。
 
這是人類學自始至終的核心缺陷。更早以前，當英國入侵北美時，認為北美原住民的酋長姬妾會隨時隨地跟隨丈夫，因為他們腦中無法將議事堂中穿著講究，儀態尊貴的女性歸到侍妾以外的分類。
 
就是這群著魔的考古學家在挖掘出帶著美麗珠飾的男性遺骸時，推測這個社會由男性主導（因為有權力者配戴珠寶！），而卻在另一處挖掘出帶著美麗珠飾的女性遺骸時推測這個社會同樣也是被男性主導（因為女性必須盛裝以成為性交對象或戰利品般的妻子！）他們滿腦子只想著男性主導的社會，所以無論挖掘到什麼，他們也只會用腦中的模板去解釋。
 
同樣的謬誤也導致演化心理學核心的認知是：更新世非洲人類的價值觀、信仰、偏見、權力鬥爭、目標、和需求會與現代在加州聖塔芭芭拉心理學實驗室裡的中產階級白人教授和畢業生會完全相同。
 
這不是科學，這是一種自利性偏差，惡性循環式的主張。我保證這個Hohle Fels的小雕塑，會被當成色情產業是古老而自然的「證明」。就因為被這些色情病態的考古學家滿腦子只有色情而將它當成色情產物，這個雕像從現在起會被每個演化心理學和世界上所有男性至上主義者視為色情產業亙古不變的正名，而男性主導是天經地義，女性主義者都是瘋子最好閉上鳥嘴，去讀讀Steven Pinker的下一本書。
 
P.s. 完全出於我個人的猜測，這個人形可能與生產儀式有關，如果注意到千年來這類女性雕塑上都有刻紋與標記。但沒人知其涵意，但鐵定是有意義的。這些顆紋不是隨機的刻口，有人費了很大的力氣去完成這些雕塑，思及舊石器時代女性生產是冒很大風險的事，他們可能在當時全心祈求保護與協助，我可以想像女性薩滿長者或是藝術家雕出這些小人像立起來，好讓祈求者有個目標。
 
從另外的角度來說，也可能根本與生育和性行為毫無關係，胸部與外陰只不過是指出這個塑像是誰：例如某個女神。想想基督總是拖著長鬚，這是一種男性的特徵，即使基督與男性性徵沒什麼關係。長鬚只是一個標記。或者這雕塑誇張的乳房是指生命必需：奶水、食物、營養。

而某個男人雕出這個雕像就為了看著打手槍──即使他身邊滿是沒穿多少衣服的女性，這種概念實在非常可笑。

Cusco was built on layers of cultures. The Tawantinsuyu (former Inca Empire) was built on Killke structures. The Spanish replaced indigenous temples with Catholic churches, and Inca palaces with mansions for the invaders.

A major earthquake on 21 May hit in 1950, and caused damage in more than one third of the city's structures. The Dominican Priory and Church of Santo Domingo, which were built on top of the impressive Qurikancha (Temple of the Sun), were among the affected colonial era buildings. Inca architecture withstood the earthquake.

Brick Renaissance is the Northern European continuation of brick architecture after Brick Romanesque and Brick Gothic. Although the term Brick Gothic is often used generally for all of this architecture, especially in regard to the Hanseatic cities of the Baltic, the stylistic changes that led to the end of Gothic architecture did reach Northern Germany and northern Europe with delay, leading to the adoption of Renaissance elements into brick building. Nonetheless, it is very difficult for non-experts to distinguish transitional phases or early Brick Renaissance, as the style maintained many typical features of Brick Gothic, such as stepped gables. A clearer distinction only developed at the transition to Baroque architecture. In Lübeck, for example, Brick Renaissance is clearly recognisable in buildings equipped with terracotta reliefs by the artist Statius von Düren, who was also active at Schwerin (Schwerin Castle) and Wismar (Fürstenhof).

More clearly recognisable as Renaissance are brick buildings strongly influenced by the Dutch Renaissance style, such as Reinbek Castle at Reinbek near Hamburg, the Zeughaus at Lübeck, or Friedrichstadt in Schleswig-Holstein.
