Sorry I can not type in Chinese.
I just do not understand why people denigrate asian girls who date
white guys. It's just personal preferences, and there is nothing
wrong with it.(not post for fight.)
OK, go back to the topic:
I don't think girls who look like " lucy liu" will particularly catch
American's eyes. Trust me, the " standard of beauty" is the same everywhere.
For example, Taiwanese guys also like girls with big breast, small waist,
same to white guys.
Unless the "american" in our discussion actually has " yellow-fever," generally
speaking, they still prefer girls who :
1. Always dress nicely/tidy
2. With big eyes
3. Big boobs
4. Nice butt
5. Long hair

My fiance (he is white) can tell "pretty Asian VS. Ugly Asian." In contrast,
my friend who is also a white guy can not really tell if the Asian girl is
pretty or not, to him, almost every Asian is hot.

In terms of " cultural difference," I personally experienced some difficulties,
for example, my fiance does not understand why he has to give me financial contrl
of our family, I have to explain that is how it works to my parents and my friends
Now he has picked up several habits from my culture, such as taking shower at night
before he  goes to bed, drinking hot water(b/c it is better for our body), always
respect elders( he used to talk to his dad like his buddy, and sometimes
is kind of rude to his mom from my chinese point of view), stop eating
sweets instead of fruit.

But my fiance also told me that after dating me, he finds out white girls
are generally ugly, even the pretty ones are not really attractive.He said:
They are fat, big, and look like a man.

I can also kind point out some little difference/focus in the "beauty rules" in
the US culture:(this is what I felt when I left Taiwan 2 years ago,
but maybe it has changed, )

1. They are obssessed with white teeth, while Taiwanese people do not
really care about that.
2. Taiwanese people do like girls with whiter skin, while here they do
not really care.
3. Taiwanese guys do not really care about their body odor,
while most of American guys, regardless how messy they are in real life, apply
deodorant under their arm pits.
4. Girls here are attached to manicure and pedicure, while Taiwanese girls
cares more about their white skin, and forget their cuticles.
5. American guys will care if they are " big and strong," while Taiwanese guys
care more if they are well-dressed.

I am not here saying white guys are better. I think personality wise Taiwanese
guys are more mature, and responsible. But since this article is talking
about " look," I just write some only pertain to the topic.

But to be honest, there are tons of hot Asian guys in the US, who groom themselves
, scent themsevles, and they are taught in Asian culture.
But usually, they are with white girls, b/c white girls are REALLY aggressive.

All in all, I think both Asian guys and women have to be more active, more
spontaneous, and be brave to pursue what they want.

P.S another gossip from my gay friend who is also white:
He told me gay guys who do not want to come out usually date Asian girls
as a cover, b/c asian girls tend to have small breast, and they look like
boys sometimes.....OMG....
