Aquarius Forecast for March 2014

You may like March very much, for you will see a big emphasis on money but instead of getting you tense, you'll be surprised and happy at how easily it may be for you to raise your income. This lovely trend will start with the new moon, March 1 (or on February 28 if you live on the West Coast of the US). That new moon is to light your second house of earned income, and it will receive sensational aspects from both Neptune and Jupiter, two heavy-duty planets that have a lot of influence in our solar system's lineup.

Neptune will help you in a big, exciting way if you are artistic and hope to sell your ideas or artistic creation. If you are in the arts, and work as a painter, or a actor, singer, musician, composer, choreographer, poet, screenwriter, novelist, filmmaker, costume designer, or pattern maker, hair or makeup artist, chef, copywriter, art director, creative director, web designer, graphic artist - you name your passion - you can see a big sale this month or bring in an amazing client, thanks to the new moon and Sun's conjunction to Neptune, the planet that supports all the arts.

If you are not in a creative field and are not in a support function to artists or actors, Neptune's presence in your second house of income may be a little more troublesome. Neptune has a double edge, and the other side of Neptune can bring confusion or misinformation. This side may come out if you are in a profession where you, say, like the character Detective Joe Friday of Dragnet (that old black and white TV show), who would always say, "Just the facts ma'am." If you have that kind of nuts and bolts job, be sure to get a lawyer or your financial advisor to look at any deal you are considering and want to enter into. Avoid risky propositions now - if you are careful, you will do well.

I have a hunch that even if you have a profession that has always been all-business, or said another way, far from the creative fields, you might be moving closer to the creative industry anyway, for you may find yourself part of the support staff for artistic talent. Neptune is not leaving your financial house anytime soon - Neptune is due to stay until January 2026. With Neptune having such a strong influence on your income, and being lucky for you to find ways to earn more income, I feel that in one way or another, sooner or later, you will be magnetized to the creative industry. For example, if you are an accountant, you may be hired by a big film studio to help write the checks for the crews in production. Or if you have always been in Information Technology (IT), you may be hosting the sites of the movie studios, television, streaming video, art galleries, or other artistic sites in increasing numbers. These are a few examples, but you see my point.

This new moon of March 1 is remarkable because it will receive a direct beam from Jupiter, the planet of good fortune and abundance, now in your sixth house of work projects. If you are self-employed, you are likely to find a project immediately that will pay very well. Go out and beat the bushes until you find that golden opportunity, for it is there for you, with your name written all over it. Jupiter's position suggests to me that 1) you will love the assignment you get, and 2) you will be paid very generously. Don't be afraid to ask for a hefty fee. If you work for others, it looks as though you can find side work or part-time work if you'd rather do that.

All new moons are strongest when they first appear, so jump on career and money matters the minute the new moon appears March 1. The actions you take in the ten days that follow it will have the power to influence your coming twelve months - new moons do that so well! Each passing day (as you move away from March 1) will slowly decrease in energy until the new moon is completely "spent" by the full moon March 16. That's why the first week of March will be so vital for finding moneymaking opportunities.

The full moon, March 16, plus or minus five days, will end your discussions regarding money. You may send out checks or deposit checks at that time - it seems like a mix of both. You may get word back on your application for a raise or other financial matter, or you may buy something expensive, like a condo or house. You may be up for a new position and finalize the salary you will be paid.

Whatever happens near March 16 seems to make you feel much more financially secure because Saturn will be beaming beautiful golden rays from his perch in your tenth house of honors, awards, achievement, and fame. That could be a sweet career moment, even though the full moon is more about money than it is about advancing your career. (You'd have to look closely at the situation - you seem to be motivated by the money at the full moon, although that might not be completely obvious to you until later, in hindsight.)

Last month, you dealt with Mercury retrograde in Aquarius, so you had to wait to sign contracts and to buy electronic items (as well as other expensive items, like furniture). The happy news is that Mercury went direct on February 28, so from a communications and contractual standpoint, as you enter March, you are in the clear. Mercury will orbit back to the place he initially went retrograde on March 20, so things will pick up even more after that date.

This month, Saturn will go retrograde from March 2 to July 20. Saturn is important to watch because he is currently touring your tenth house of fame. This means Saturn will temporarily hold up your professional progress from March through much of July. Still, as mentioned earlier in my report to you here, you won't lack the ability to uncover and win lucrative assignments. I feel you can easily keep busy with work you find, and although it seems you will be luckiest by working on a project by project basis, and not by landing a full time position or by getting a promotion, I feel that will come in late October or November. I feel you will be happy in the meantime, and money will come in if you look for the jobs I see reflected in your chart.

Mars will retrograde too, from March 1 to May 19, and that might interfere with your travel plans and certain other parts of your life. Mars rules your solar ninth house, so that's the reason I see international and long-distance travel and relationships overseas running into glitches and delays - these areas are governed by the ninth house. This is mainly an intellectual house that is closely tied to all accurate information, both the kind you take in, through university study (undergraduate, masters, or PhD levels), as well as information you give out, through publishing and broadcasting industries.

The reason international travel and foreign relationships are covered by the ninth house too is that the ancient astrologers felt that travel was a form of education - and I am sure you will agree, they were so right! All these matters will go slowly now, because Mars is the booster rocket that lifts off projects properly so that they garner much attention and are carefully pushed forward, with force, speed, and a strong spirit of competitiveness, and that make projects successful.

With a languishing, sleeping Mars, it would be the wrong time to open a business or launch a new product or service. It seems like the wrong time to start research on a grant or any new research project. It would be important to wait, dear Aquarius. Related to international travel are matters that are linked to immigration. If you need a passport, an enhanced driver's license, visa, or green card, you may have to cool your jets, as red tape of paperwork may make you frustrated. If you can hire an expert to expedite matters, do - it will be worth the extra fee you would have to pay.

The courts and legal matters are also part of the ninth house, and so alas, you will have to be patient as things move slowly through the twists and turns of the annals in the justice system. Cheer yourself by knowing that it really will be to your benefit to have Mars in speedy position before any plan is announced. I promise the second half of 2014 will not be plagued with so many retrograde planets. Through these retrogrades, we all are being urged to look more closely at all we are doing to see if anything can be improved. You will have the time to look at the details, so do that - you will be glad you did.

April will be a jarring month for most people, as a very difficult set of eclipses is due April 15 and April 29. The first one, a full moon lunar eclipse, will link into all the subjects that I have been listing, the ones that come under the intellectual ninth house (international travel and relationships, higher education, broadcasting and publishing ventures, immigration and citizenship, the courts and legal matters, and so forth).

The second eclipse will be a new moon solar eclipse, due April 29, and will bring you surprise news about your home or a family member. It is possible you are considering relocating to another country or city to take advantage of career-related matters.

Often a new moon eclipse like the one April 29 is calm and helpful, but just like the first eclipse of April 15, these eclipses seem to bring up more questions than answers, and change the game in ways you can't now anticipate. Everyone of every sign will notice that news is coming from every corner, and because eclipses often require adjustment (even to positive changes), it will likely be a tense time. That's why you should try to do research and talk with people in March, while your environment will still be relatively calm.

The end of this month will give you a clue of what April is all about because we have a second new moon this month (and it is not an eclipse) on March 30, in Aries, 10 degrees, that will light your solar third house. As a result of that new moon, you may be asked to sign a contract at this time, or at the very least, join forces with the other side to shape one, but that would not be a good idea now, as you first need to see what the April eclipses will have to say before you sign anything.

You may need to travel, but if you do, it will be a relatively short distance. You would not have any notice that you will need to pack and go. I say that because this new moon of March 30 will arrive arm-in-arm with the Sun and Uranus, all very close mathematically (10 degrees). This is interesting because Uranus is your ruling planet, so this new moon seems important to you. Uranus is known to bring completely unanticipated events - always things you are not looking at as even possible - so you might as well just keep your schedule open and elastic at that time.

Pluto, from behind the scenes, will be in very hard angle to the Sun, Uranus, and the new moon, which suggests you may have to deal with some sort of interoffice political intrigue. Full moons tend to illuminate all that is going on, so you may get a lot more information than you thought was possible, and it may solve a mystery.

Certain of your relatives come under the new moon March 30 too, including your sister and brother, cousins, and some aunts and uncles. One individual related to you may bring you very unexpected news, and you may need to be poised to help if needed, if only to give advice or direct the actions of others at the very least. Other relatives may become important next month at eclipse time, including in-laws, other aunts and uncles, and relatives related to your sister or brother. Mars retrograde may bring problems in your relationship with one of your relatives, as there appears to be plenty of interaction with one relative this month, and that might cause strife. See if you can keep yourself an arm's length apart, for as the month progresses, everyone of every sign will be a bit more on edge and quick to snap.

If your birthday falls on January 30, plus or minus five days, you will feel this new moon the most, but also find ways to deal with it best. Aries goes very well with your sign because your air sign element makes the fire sign Aries burn more brightly. You can make this new moon work well for you. Similarly, if you were not born at this time of the month, but if you have your natal chart, see if you have a planet in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius at 10 degrees (plus or minus five degrees) - you will also benefit. Mark down which planet it is, and what happened - you will learn a great deal by keeping a record. If you have Aquarius rising at 10 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, this new moon is also due to speak directly to you.

Now let's turn to matters of love. You will be fortunate in that the eclipses should not affect you directly, and this month, Venus will tour Aquarius from March 5 to April 5, an ideal time to give your looks an instant upgrade. You might want to change the way you wear your hair, or to buy a few new stylish clothes for the coming season that will make you feel like a million dollars. This goes for both my male and female readers, for why shouldn't you look great?

Your best romantic date this month will be when Venus in Aquarius will receive a wink from Uranus, your ruler, in Aries on March 18. You may travel quickly or plan a great trip for the coming weekend. Or, you may meet someone new, just when you weren't thinking one bit about that.

Summary

Money is about to consume your thinking, and happily, early March will bring you a plethora of opportunity to make more. Rarely have you had a better time to ask for a raise than now, just after the new moon appears at the start of March. You may now sell an idea or artistic creative, or get the green light on a movie or other project you need to begin once you get funding. Go slowly and watch details.

If you are not involved in a creative effort, Neptune's position orbiting close to the Sun and new moon may bring fog and confusion. You may be given distorted financial records that obscure important financial facts. This can be very troublesome if you are conducting an audit, in a court case, or splitting property in a divorce or inheritance. In that regard, you will have to dig deeper for accurate information, perhaps with the expert help of a financial forensic investigator.

A different type of financial focus will take place within four days of the full moon, March 16. You may hear back about a loan or mortgage, pay a bill, or purchase something large, like a house, car, or expensive jewelry. Saturn, the planet of solid long-term thinking will be friendly, so the actions you take now will enhance your security. By mid-month, you will be done with all your financial thinking and can move on to other concerns.

Keep in mind that Mars will be retrograde from March 1 to May 19, and this will tangle travel plans and create difficulties in relationships with relatives, especially siblings, aunts, uncles, and in-laws. Mars is the high-energy planet that launches plans into the stratosphere in a forceful way. When Mars retrogrades, however, Mars goes dormant, so we are all left to our own devices, and the results are usually proven to be not so good. The rule is, never start a project or new relationship (whether in love or business) when Mars is retrograde, as later, it will not pan out. You can plan, but don't agree to anything just yet. Above all, make sure your assumptions are realistic; you will have the time to do more research to tweak any estimates that prove faulty.

The April 15 eclipse may further complicate the matters ruled by Mars, and are likely to bring up unexpected news about long distant travel, international relationships, immigration, a grant, legal matter, or a plan to pursue an advanced degree. Publishing and broadcasting projects can easily go haywire too, as unexpected news or elements of the project will need quick tending, at the blink of an eye.

The new moon March 30 will possibly bring papers to sign - don't. You need to first see what the twin eclipses of April bring up, for until then you won't know which end is up. Like everyone else, you are heading into a challenging month in April, so you'll have to stay alert and on your toes on the matters listed at the end of March throughout April.

Dates to Note: AQUARIUS

Most romantic dates (and dates you can use for other important purposes too): March 3, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 18, 22, 25, and 26.

Mars will retrograde March 1 to May 19 and may bring difficulties in international relations, in a legal case, or in your efforts to get a university degree. You can get over those problems.

Jupiter turns direct March 6, after being retrograde since November 7. Your health should improve now, and it will be easier for you to get the most coveted assignments.

If you work in publishing or broadcasting media, you may have a setback, or you may find the going slower than you anticipated. See if you can move deadlines forward.

The new moon of February 28 / March 1 is favorable for your income. If you need a raise, ask for it on March 3 or March 6 for best luck. Actually actions taken in the first week should be positive for your income.

The full moon of March 16 will end your focus on money. You may pay a large bill, or sell something pricey. You seem pleased with events at this full moon.

Relatives might play a large role in your life this month as the two houses being lit rule sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, and in-laws. One person in this grouping may become prominent in your life.

The new moon of March 30 appears in your third house of communication and travel, but both will bring obstacles. Signing a contract this month would not be wise, as Mars is retrograde. Wait until after May 19 or better yet, mid-to-end of July. Travel done now will bring delays and unanticipated difficulties. Sit tight.
